My husband and I booked this course, and I'm so pleased we did. It was informative, fun, and utterly delicious. Michel was fun, a great teacher, and very knowledgeable. Perfect for all kinds of cook. The farm was lovely and a perfect environment to relax and eat all the lovely food you create. Would happily go back. Thank you.

We had a brilliant time with Michel at his farmhouse cookery school. We loved the experience of buying all the ingredients we were using from a real local market before cooking them. The whole experience is very professional, informative and tasty! Michel's attention to detail and good humour make for a really fun afternoon. We recommend unreservedly

A definite highlight of our trip, this all day class on the outskirts of Marrakech was terrific. Just five of us that day (low season) so we got extra attention from Michel, our French-Italian-Moroccan chef. Aside from a transfer mix up in the morning, everything was well organised and relaxed. Michel is fun, cheeky, and generous with his knowledge. Day included a visit at the local market to choose our own fruits and veg and spices, a blind spice smelling test, and cooking tagine, salads, and breads. Best tagine I've had so far was cooked by ME 😂. Tips on identifying real saffron and argan, and sent away with recipes. I won't forget this one. 6 stars.

Unforgettable memory to have fun shopping foods at a local market and enjoy slow cooking at a wonderful & cozy farm. Mercy, Michel!

Michel picked us up from the edge of the Medina and took us first to a local market to pick up some cheap and quality produce for the day. At the farm, he started by doing a blind smell test of the Moroccan spices which is not that easy. Then, we made bread with flour and semolina, cooked a tagine, and three different salads before eating some of it. The facilities were extremely good, it was well run, and the conversation flowed. Definitely one to recommend.

We had a fabulous day with Michel in Faim dEpices, the food we cooked was really delicious and we learnt so much about spices and Moroccan cooking. Making the bread was a real treat and Michel was warm and great fun throughout the day. RĂłisĂn & Molly

This was our second time with chef Michel at Faim d’Espices - we loved the experience so much the first time a year ago. This time we did a vege cous cous with salads, bread etc. and of course Michael’s famous spice education and sniffing. It really was as enjoyable as before - and all the more so because another couple were also there on their second visit. That says it all really - a great experience, good fun with much learning, plus you get a super meal at the end of it. Fabulous value! Just do it.

Michel is amazing! This is truly a must-do when in Marrakesh. Everything is as pictured/described. Michel was very easy to communicate with ahead of the experience and via WhatsApp during the pickup. We went to the market to do the shopping and then to the farmhouse for the cooking. We learned all about the spices and techniques of Moroccan cooking. We cooked bread, chicken tagine, three salads, a salsa, and a crepe dessert. Amazing experience!

Fantastic day of delicious food, brilliant instruction and humour from Michel. We were given a very warm welcome and the day flowed extremely well between activities/dishes. The menu was superb, we particularly enjoyed the bread making! We came away feeling we'd got to experience some really authentic Moroccan cuisine. Merci beaucoup Faim D'epices!

This was our second visit - and we don't do return trips - but this one is worth it. It is fully hands on and authentic Moroccan cooking experience, delivered by a great host; Chef Michelle and his assistant. We had a fab time cooking lamb tagine; bread Moroccan style, plus other dishes. We started our day with a trip to a local food market where we purchased our ingredients. Top-tip, if you are after some authentic Harissa, buy from this market - it's so much cheaper and the real thing! You will feast under the trees on what you have cooked during the day. Arrive hungry, the food was great - the experience is one to savour!

My team and I traveled to Marrakesh for a team retreat and had the absolute pleasure of doing a Cooking Class with Michel. He adjusted the timings to fit our schedule, the recipe to food restriction, and provided a thoughtful and fun experience! Expect to get your hands dirty - the best part - and to be entertained. Ah, and to eat awesome food made by yourself with expert guidance! The ride from the center of Marrakesh took around 40 min, which was a bit longer than we expected, but this gave us an opportunity to see more of the area. Thank you, Michel!

We chose Marrakech for a team-building trip with 21 people, and one of the experiences we wanted to have was a cooking class. The reviews we saw about Michel led us to choose him, and boy, were we right! It all started with an incredible challenge in the market where we bought the ingredients to cook in a fun way. But then, every moment of the class was fascinating. Michel taught us tips while still being entertaining! His space is really well-prepared to accommodate large groups. The team that assists him is lovely and warm. He not only taught us how to cook typical Moroccan dishes but also added music to the event, making it even more special. The experience was incredible not only because of the class itself and the delicious food we ate but also because of the passion with which he conducts it. Thank you, Michel!

Our host/chef was utterly charming. We enjoyed the cultural immersion experience of shopping for our food at the local market before heading to his farm/cooking school kitchen in the middle of a fragrant citrus grove. We learned local cooking techniques and spices. After a fun day, we enjoyed the delicious meal we prepared al fresco next to the citrus grove. It was such a nice respite from the hustle bustle, and noise of Marrakesh.

Great day and delicious food! Loved the authenticity of it all, especially the trip to the market to get the ingredients. Full day learning different recipes and techniques, and all about the spices too! Will definitely be cooking them back at home. Hosts very welcoming and genuine nice people. Best thing we have done in Marrakesh!

This was the best experience ever. I booked the cookery class via Trip Advisor as it had the option “ our hotel isn’t listed” and this wasn’t an option on Viatour website. Michel collected us from our requested pick up area and sent us details including a map and picture of his car in advance of our trip. The day started with a trip to a non tourist market to buy fruit, veg and spices, we even bought spices to take home. We were then driven to the cookery school (a very calm and tranquil venue which was a perfect place to escape the 42 degree heat) and were served mint tea before being shown how to make bread, crepes, salads and chicken tagine which we then made and ate. It was the best meal we ate in Marrakesh. As previous reviewers have said Michel is a patient witty funny fantastic host and cook. I visited with my friend and we were the only 2 on the day so felt very privileged. This was truly a fantastic experience and absolute value for money. My friend and I both agreed we’d happily pay twice what we payed for the day. I look forward to trying to make the dishes at home and finally thank you Michel for showing me how to properly dice and onion. Mary & Bernadette

It was a really nice day out. Started with Michel, who kindly picked us up from around the corner from our Riad. We then went to the local market to collect the produce. It is absolutely wonderful to see such a thriving local market. The school itself is very clean and well laid out. We njoyed trying to guess the spices. Even purchased some Saffron (saved us haggling down the market, lol) The instructions were clear, and the course was great. We ended up being the only ones their so we got private tuition. Bonus. Would highly recommend this to anyone with an interest in cooking.

One of the best experiences in Morocco - Tagine cooking at its best. We are tour operator - adventure-dynamics.com that run trips in Marrakech - Michel makes the cooking experience all worth it - we have tried a few others and this by far the best. We took our own wine and the best is you get a full 4 course meal at the end of it - thanks Michel and crew!

Michel made us feel at home from the second we walked into his cooking school. He was so patient with our kids and did such a great job teaching us about Moroccan cooking. The tangine and salads we made were some of my favorites I had the whole trip. The school is so nice and clean and beautiful. This experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco and cannot be missed when coming to Marrakesh.

Best part of my trip to Marrakech... A little slice of peace, flavor and natural beauty. Cannot imagine a more fun, immersive experience of Moroccan cuisine than what Michel has created!
