Orlin gave us a taste of how the locals live by showing us around the city and introducing us to local foods. Additionally he provided us with a bit of the history of Mexico and Mexico City. He had a lot of great tips and recommendations.

This adventure with Olin was the perfect way to start my stay in Mexico City! It had all the ingredients to make it a great tour: a kind and fun guide, a cool group, good street food, famous and less famous places, some History background (learned in a fun way!), entertaining facts and stories, a lot of walking and a very good atmosphere. Olin was an amazing, patient, accommodating, flexible, friendly and knowledgeable guide. All you can ask for a tour guide! The history provided in the tour is not over the top so he keeps you engaged . He will take you through spots that you would otherwise never see even as a Mexican. I lived in Mexico a long time and I still experienced new things and learned new things and that was amazing! My husband and I were traveling with our 13 year old son and my 70+ parents in law and we all really enjoyed our day with Olin as well as the amazing food throughout the day. Definetly a must do tour if you are in Mexico and even better if you do this a day before you want to go and explore downtown on your own since you will have a better idea where you want to go spend your time at your own pace while in the city. If you are a very picky eater as my mother in law be prepared and take a sandwich or some snacks with you so you don't miss out on this tour.

The tour started in front of a very local hole in a wall type family own eatery in a working class neighborhood. Guess what? This place has the best tamale I have ever had in my life. This is tour of Mexican history and culture with sampling some local foods along the way. The other good eat we had was a blue corn taco. Our tour guide Oliverdo really took his time with us. He explained everything in details. The tour lasted more than 5 hrs.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to CDMX. We learned so much and saw places/ate food we never would have known how to access otherwise. Olin is an incredible guide. I can’t wait to take his other tours! If you’re up for walking and have a sense of adventure, do not hesitate to book this awesome tour!

Great experience with a great guide. Olin was absolutely amazing, informative yet engaging. Learned some much of the history and didn’t get bored. The IPad was the perfect touch. The food choices during the tour were perfect and his recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. We even exchanged What’s App info. Will definitely be contacting Olin again when we come back! Definitely book his tour. Even my kids (12years old and 18years old) loved it!

What a great experience. Fernando is one of the best guides we have ever had. His pride and passion for Mexico city is 2nd to none. Great little spots to try diffrent foods, very educational and fun. This tour is a must.

I have had the pleasure to take this tour twice: once with my best friend and most recently, with my teenaged niece. Both times, the tour was fantastic. The tour guide, Olin, does a great job intermingling history, food, art and current local culture without it being overwhelming. The food that one eats is so good and definitely food I wouldn't have know about on my own. Olin is friendly, fun and humorous and makes everyone on the tour feel welcome. Whether it be the first time or many times for you in Mexico City, this is a great tour given by a local that everyone should do!

This is a great tour. You start off in a not very touristy area before heading into the historical centre. There is a lot of a history and a lot of food. All of the food was delicious and the pulque tasting was fun. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and don’t have breakfast before you go.

This is a gem of a tour and a must see experience. Our tour guide, Ollie, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He went above and beyond to give our group an unforgettable stroll through the life of a chilango. 5 stars, 10 out of 10.

Food, history, and a great overview of the city. Fabulous tour guide who showed us the “real” Mexico City. Different foods to taste, explanations of the different foods and drinks. Metro ride - a great day.

The tour was absolutely amazing. Owen or Olen, our tour guide did an amazing job. On this tour you get to live a day like a true Chilango. The food was amazing, the drinks was amazing and the tour guide took us to some of the most amazing spots to see in Mexico City. I definitely recommend this tour!

It was a great experience, a very fun tour, full of culture and delicious food. I learned a lot about Mexico City and the history of the country. Olin is very funny, he was very patient with me because I asked a lot of questions. The walk through the city is very pleasant as you get into the city itself, that was my favorite part, not to mention the delicious tacos we ate at the local market and the wonderful tlacoyoss we had near the end of the tour. If you want to live a great experience, get to know, try different things and make the most of your day, don't hesitate to take this tour.

Olin was outstanding in every way. He took us to fascinating places where tourists normally don’t go. We saw so much in four hours and really appreciate how Olin took care of us ( we are in our 70’s). Highly recommend!!

What a great time! Fernando and Alex were amazing. We went to places where most tourists don't go and it was great. They accommodated my dietary needs fully at every food stop. All delicious too. Visiting the market brought me back to my childhood. The pulquería was nice. The terrace bar was gorgeous and had a great view. I highly recommend this tour. Don't be afraid to try something new. Experience CDMX the Chilango way!

This was mostly a food tour with short stops between to look at the sights. The best part was the chance to try local food stand and small restaurants with the help of a Spanish-speaking guide. He helped check if food met my dietary restrictions which was so very helpful. It was also cool to take the subway. However, I would have liked better descriptions about the landmarks. We only got a few sentences about places that could have gotten a better back story. I was look at statues without knowing what they meant. The worst part was the final stop where we all ordered drinks at a rooftop bar but some people left without paying since the tour guide did not inform them that everyone needed to pay the bill. So some of us were left paying for the other people in our group. That was very awkward and can be avoided.

This tour included excellent food, a great market tour, a pulque tasting, a public transit ride, and a walking tour of the historical center. I have been on many city tours and Olin is the best guide I have ever had. He presents history, local knowledge, and food explanations in a very interesting and interactive way. He is a local that feels like a friend instead of a tour guide. I already knew a lot about Mexican food and Mexico City history but I learned so much more on this tour. The only thing I would say is it was a bit too much walking for us. If we had ridden the subway all the way to the historical center (or even Uber’d at our own cost) we would have had more time and energy for that area. I would have loved to go inside Postal Palace or explored on my own after but we were too tired by the end. But this tour was very good and you cannot do better than Olin as a tour guide.

Olin is awesome! He gave us a really fun tour of Mexico City. He is very knowledgeable about Mexican history and showed us some parts of the city we hadn't seen before, and shared some authentic food and drinks with us along the way. We had a great time and felt like we learned about and experienced Mexico City in a more authentic way than we have with other tours. Definitely recommended.
