I booked this tour to help one member of our travel group that had mobility issues the chance to see Rome. The electric golf cart was a perfect fit for our situation, as Andrea was a perfect guide to this beautiful city. He gave informative descriptions and summaries of the major sights around us, and we always felt safe as he maneuvered the cart through Rome’s chaotic streets. He brought us as close as possible to many major sites, and even helped us take some great pictures to help lock in the memories! We never felt rushed, and he was able to customize our route based on the things that we were interested in. Happy to give the highest recommendation possible! When we returned to our hotel, we ran into other members of our tour group and shared our experience with Andrea… they booked him almost immediately after and were similarly pleased with their tour.

This was an amazing way to see a lot of Rome in a short amount of time. Our guide Adria was amazing. Excellent historical knowledge and spoke English very well. There are seatbelts in the cart if you wish to use them. It was very busy in Rome the day we were there as it was a national holiday but our guide was able to maneuver through the crowds and take back streets to get us to each sight with ease. I have recommended this tour and this company to other friends heading to Rome in May and they have told us there tour was amazing as well. Would highly recommend. We only had 2 nights in Rome. We visited the Colosseum and Forum on the afternoon we arrived and the Vatican on the afternoon after our golf cart tour. The golf cart tour and our super guide, Kelly, gave us a great flavor of some of the other sites in Rome. In 3+ hours we buzzed around Rome stopping frequently while Kelly told us stories about the sites and the culture. Make sure you have cash to pay for your tour… apparently it’s in the small print but I didn’t see it and ended up paying unnecessary ATM fees.

Adriana and his partner who helped to drive were absolutely fantastic. We travelled with my father who was in a wheelchair, and they assisted us getting in and out and were very understanding of our needs. He also introduced so many different sights in Rome and had a great interest and knowledge about them, which really gave us a new perspective. The golf cart was fantastic as we could see everything up close and jump in and out easily if we wanted photos or something to drink for example. Highly recommend this tour! Beats any other guided tour we have taken.

This could have been a great experience and we had high hopes for this event since we had limited time in Rome. However, it did not workout as we had hoped due to rain. We saw the weather the day before and saw light rain but on the day of our scheduled tour it was raining quite moderately. We called the tour and asked if we can do it early when it wasn’t raining and they weren’t able to accommodate us. We continued at our scheduled time when it was raining and it was horrible. Number one reason was because it was very unsafe especially when you have two young kids with you. The golf cart was unsteady due to wet cobble stone road. It was quite scary. Our tour guide Kelly was very nice but we saw how uneasy she was as while driving in the rain. It was unsafe in Italy rain weather. The cars were very close to us and frustrated of golf cart on the road. There was lot of honking. If that wasn’t enough the golf cart wasn’t appropriately equipped for such weather as some cover zipper wasn’t working properly causing the cover to fly all over causing rain to come in and making us wet. I had to hold on to it during the 3 hour tour to keep warm and dry. If you’re going to follow your unsafe weather policy at least have your cart weather proof. My advice is follow cancel policy if there is rain on your scheduled tour as it is VERY UNSAFE!

On March 19, 2024 after getting off the Princess Cruise ship, the Sun Princess we decided to do a three (3) tour of Rome in order to get acclimated with the layout of this marvelous historical city. The best way was a suggestion from Sara at Rome Life Hotel. We could take a tour of Rome to see history in a golf cart that holds up to ten (10) guests. The golf cart can more around the crowded city much easier than a car or van. Andrew as we affectionately called him was owner/operator. This man is extremely knowledgeable, well spoken and very intelligent informative. He allowed us to spend as much or as little time we wanted at each site. This tour was well worth our time and the money spent. Andrew said one of best tours of these sites runs from 7pm to 10pm. Rome looks amazing at night. The next time we are in Roma we will definitely schedule xploringromegolfcart.com for night tour. Check it out! You be impressed and educated at same time.

The tour was really good and our tour guide had a remarkable knowledge of all that we saw. We covered a lot of sights and if you have a small amount of time this is a great way to do it. Hotel pickup out of Rome central area is not assisted as advertised..thus the 4.
