We choose this cruise because captain Costas was so nice and welcoming at the harbor. Even though the day was cloudy it was incredable and staff were nice. Only minus that the food at the boat was medium. Should have eated at the Fiskardo. Fiskardo was plusplus because we imagined it to be small with only restaurants but it was like a extrasmall mykonos with lovely little (tho expensive) shops. Would come again to this cruise.

An enjoyable full day cruise. The captain and crew were friendly and helpful. Live music with the captain and one of the crew . Beautiful stops for swimming. There were good explanations of places where we visited. Highly recommended.

Amazing trip if I should complai about something it would be the music and the volume. When I'm on the see I want to hear the ocean and not music

Not a very sunny day so was cold on trip but stops made up for it. Staff were really friendly and the lunch on the ship was good value. Enjoyable day out!

It was a nice trip but not what was discribed, they said we would go to Egremni but we didn’t because some people got sea sick. In my opinion you shouldn’t go on a ship then. We paid €50 each because we wanted to go to Egremni so that was kind of disspointing. Overal it was fine.

Not all but some of the beaches are marvelous! White sand, crystal clear water, beautiful natural surroundings, create a scene straight from a postcard.

Very nice trip, the lunch was delicious. Captain went in a cave with a boat, stoped in Scorpios Island for swimming. We have a great Easter holidays.

Captain Kostas is the best one. We had an amazing boat trip. All the team was very nice and polite and helpful. They showed us the best places and explained the history of what we were seeing. So much fun I absolutely recommend makedonia palace bote and for sure I am going to visit them again.

Lovely exploration cruise of some stunning beaches. Captain Kwstas was very entertaining and friendly, food was tasty and crew was excellent. Definitely would recommend , and would go again :)

My fiancé and I had never been to Lefkada before and didn’t know what to do or what places to see so we booked this tour on a whim and weren’t expecting all that much from it - but oh how wrong we were! We arrived early at Nidri Port and boarded the Makedonia Palace which departed at about 09:20 and we headed straight out to Egremni Beach. Our captain Kostas kept us informed of all the places we were passing and giving us backstory on each island. There was no one at Egremni beach when we arrived, so we all disembarked and got straight in the warm water. Captain Kostas then played traditional Greek music on the speakers and everyone had an incredible time swimming, sunbathing and even dancing! He even stood on the bow of the boat and sang and danced, giving us a great show! We later stopped at Puerto Katsiki for a swim and lunch was cooked onboard whilst everyone was swimming. The food looked and smelt incredible with loads of people opting to eat there. Afterwards we headed to Fiskardo in Kefalonia for a little over an hour where we could visit shops or have lunch in one of the many restaurants if you opted not to have lunch on the boat. This time round we ate in a restaurant but next time we will eat onboard the boat! The Makedonia Palace has a bar that has soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, ice creams amd snacks and even ready made rolls so you don’t need to worry about bringing anything with you - they also accept card which is great if you’re not one to carry much cash on you! After lunch we headed to Ithaca for another swim, each beach as beautiful as the one before. The whole journey accompanied by lively Greek music and guests dancing. Our tour concluded with a stop at Papanikolis Cave and Skorpios island. When we arrived at Papanikolis cave, ‘Nights in White Satin by Mario Frangoulis’ was played as Kostas steered half the boat into the cave and the echo of the music inside was incredible, especially as a big fan of his music. Finally we arrived at Skorpios island, formerly owned by Aristotle Onassis and now belonging to a Russian Oligarch. You aren’t allowed to dock at the island but we drove all around and Kostas gave us a lot of information on what is known as Billionaires Island. We then headed back to Nidri port arriving at around 18:20 or so. All I can say is we had an incredible day. From the beautiful beaches we saw to the information we learnt to the vibes on the boat - everything was great! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect full day in Greece. I look forward to returning and doing this all over again! Thank you to all on board the Makedonia Palace for entertaining us, teaching us all about the beautiful places we visited and for keeping us safe - thank you for a great day!!! Whilst on our Honeymoon, my wife and I went on this cruise and were both very happy with the overall experience, we were not disappointed! All of the places we visited were stunning! and the weather was perfect which was a bonus. Whilst sailing out from Nydri, Captain Costas asked if anyone was celebrating a special occasion, my wife mentioned it was our honeymoon, he even announced it to the rest of the boat and in other languages to which everyone clapped and congratulated us! This was a lovely moment for us, after this he came over to us and personally congratulated us and welcomed us aboard and invited us onto the bridge where gave us the captains hats to wear and have some photos taken and a selfie with us and him, such a lovely man and quite funny too! The Cruise was comfortable, calm and we felt safe at all times. We had pre paid for the bbq lunch which was nice enough and for only 5 euros you really can't complain! The boat was tidy and clean when we boarded. My only observation is the bar staff weren't the friendliest, however maybe they were having a bad day - hope they are ok! I think timing is critical for this trip, I don't think we would have done it during the high season due to the large numbers of people as I see a lot of other reviews commenting on - which isn't the boats fault, this is the same for everywhere, hence why we came in late September! this is an ideal time to come! Our Boat was the first to leave and the last back to port also, compared to the others I felt we had better value for money also. We had just the right amount of time in each place we visited I felt, a truly unforgettable day for all the right reasons - Thank you for a brillaint trip!

Everything was perfect. Very beautiful sceneries. The staff knew what they were doing and they were very helpful at all times. There was a lot of promotions as it was one of the lastest cruises for the season, so we took advantage of that. There was also a party on the way back which included music and nice drinks. We managed to visit 2 beaches on which we had just enough time to enjoy the water, but the 1h15 mins that we spent in Fiskardo was way too much in my opininon.

Fabulous day out. Great scenery and lovely beaches with the most blue sea. Food and drink purchased on board were very good. Cocktail ‘happy hour’ was brilliant. Captain made the trip and the day memorable. He was informative, without being over the top. Very humorous and entertaining, singing was fab! All in all a really good day out. Thank you.

I can see how this cruise can be a great experience. It’s beautiful, the ship stops at scenic beaches and with a good weather it should be a great day outdoors. Unfortunately, in our case the cruise seemed to have been organised specifically for a large group of Bulgarian tourists. There was a lot of loud Bulgarian music and drinking. My wife was shouted at by one drunk man because she made it clear she didn’t want extremely loud Bulgarian music in her face. The man just shouted “what the f***!”. I think those who drank a lot and enjoyed Bulgarian music had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this cruise to anyone else. It was not a family friendly experience in our case.
