Our host, Fueseini, was excellent. He made sure we saw as much of Ghana as possible. He was extremely hospitable and accommodating to the needs of the group. He cared about us having a fabulous experience and for our well being!

We did a full private tour of Accra, Kakum National Park, Elmina Castle inclusive of naming ceremony (where the whole village participated) and Cape Coast Castle with Hausa Tours. From soup to nuts they took impeccable care of our group ensuring we had the best educational, cultural and fun experience. To get to various locations we were provided with a clean updated air conditioned bus, with Fuseni and his team as our tour guides. Fuseni included funny stories and fun facts about Ghana, its people and rich culture during the tour. I highly recommend Hausa tours for your first time Ghana experience!

From Airport pickup to Airport drop-off, the Hausa Tours crew was phenomenal! Transportation to all tours and activities was prompt and comfortable. Fuseini was extremely engaging and entertaining for the adults and children alike! Just returned from the most AMAZING ADVENTURE in Ghana, Africa. Thanks to the entire Hausa Tours team of very knowledgeable host, guides, photographers, videographers, hand holding and uplifting personal service I received an exceptional experience of everything Ghana has to offer. From the moment I stepped foot on African land I was greeted by friendly, beautiful, and welcoming African people. I was captivated by the alluring and breathtaking landscape (Wli Waterfalls, Kakum National Park, Volta River). The hustle and bustle of city life in Accra & Kumasi, was reminiscent of most American big cities (i.e., museums, high rise buildings, lots of people, traffic, restaurants, malls, etc.) yet I felt very safe as crime is almost nonexistent in Ghana. The visit/tours to the smaller Asante Region villages, (especially the Ntunkumo Village)was culturally enlightening, enriching & a rewarding experience. I was amongst “my people”; I was literally reborn and adopted by a local village family and given a new name… “Yaa Afra“. The “extra” personal tours Hausa Tours threw in for my group (dance lessons, cooking lessons, gold factory and chocolate factory) were awesome and much appreciated. While the history of Ghana and the entire west coast of Africa (slave trade) is disturbing and heartbreaking it is OUR HISTORY and should NEVER be forgotten. The museums (WEB DuBoise home, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Ancestral Wall, Manhyia Palace, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle) tours guides were very intelligent, passionate and knowledgeable. Yes, the tours of the slave dungeons was upsetting and emotionally draining, I felt empowered by the strength, courage, resilience, faith of my African ancestors to endure the unimaginable and unbelievable inhumane treatment. I am forever educationally enriched and beyond grateful by the history as accurately told by my African people. THANK YOU Fuseini Nawaru his beautiful wife Regina Aku and the entire staff for a life changing, rewarding and memorial experience. AGOO…. I will be back.

This isn't just a recommendation to book with Hausa Tours, it's a love letter to them! (And a long one so maybe grab a snack). I could not have asked for (or found if I had) a better experience for my first trip (but not last) to the motherland. I had already prepared as much as I could for what I knew would be transformative. I knew I was going to visit ancestral sites and directly experience Ghanaian culture. But aww man. From the time I landed until the time I re-boarded to return, everything was seamless thanks to Fusseini, Regina, and their team. Efficiency is great but the personal touch they put on everything made the trip special--Regina's hugs are life-giving; Fusseini's Anansi stories and cultural commentary are humorous and profound; Patrick's attentive tenderness is unmatched. Our photographers were hiking hand holders and market bag holders too! We all marveled at the skill of our drivers. It speaks volumes to be able to curate an entire team of good folks. The trip was impressively thorough--our days were long and packed with adventures both scheduled and sometimes not but always tailored to the needs of the group. I liked how the sequence and balance of excursions too; how we eased into the heavier stuff like the tours of Elmina and Cape Coast and decompressed with the dance and cooking lessons. Oh, and speaking of needs, cold water and fresh juice--ask for the juice; it's delicious--were always on offer. Hausa Tours owes me nothing. I love them and I loved the experience so much that I was plotting my return while still in the country! So much gratitude for a beautiful experience with beautiful people.

Hausa Tours!!! OMG, where do I start? Provided a professional photographer to capture all the moments (Mike), even a professional tailor (Bryt) who in a clutch helped me with my all white suit. I mean that had everything covered!! They exceeded all expectations. The amount of care and consideration given to us as a group of young and elder adults. Every town we traveled through was expressed with historical context and its origin by our tour guide Nana. We ate well EVERYDAY and slept good every night. Hausa tours were very hands on with whatever we needed. Check in and out of hotels were seem less, where to shop for authentic souvenirs was especially important and we appreciated that. The bus, was new updated and cleaned EVERYDAY. I can go on and on with how exceptional Hausa Tours were on this trip. Just do yourselves a good service and book with Hausa Tours, I PROMISE they will over deliver! They certainly did for us. Almost forgot Kofi, he had our backs the entire tour as well as lead us in songs on the bus. What a wonderful heartfelt experience I will forever cherish.

Well......I've a long review to write but space won't permit me to write about it. Hausa Tours led by Mr. Fuseini and his team were apt about their duties and also made sure I had a lasting experience in Ho. I really explored without leaving any stone unturned. It lives rent free in my head.

We toured Wli Waterfalls, Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Mount Afadja (Afadjato) with Hausa Tours and it was very cost effective and affordable. I personally enjoyed the trip and loved the level of professionalism and respect that was shown us.
