I had such an amazing time. The guide/pilot (Louiz) offered both Hang gliding and Paragliding and I could chose depending on the weather conditions. You get super close to the mountains and can even steer a bit yourself. I would love to do it again, absolute highlight of my trip. There is also the possibility to get a 360 degree camera which make awesome Videos! Loved it!!!

He has decades of piloting experience and had made my Paragliding flight very smooth and very immersive one. You will absolutely enjoy the flight. Unbelievable Experience! At first it was too foggy, but we waited for the sky to clear. Boy Im so glad I waited! This is a lifetime experience! Even if you’re nervous do it! This is a MUST DO. We really wanted to do Hang Gliding, but due to wind conditions we were suggested to try paragliding instead. Let me just say that everything happens for a reason because it was SO INCREDIBLE. Paragliding is definitely underrated and is such an incredible experience. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well.

This was my 4 time and each time gets better. For this trip, we had one friend who was heavy and afraid. They gave her the perfect guide and I swear he held her hand throughout the entire process. Celebrating my birthday in Rio, I had planned a thrilling hang gliding experience, and little did I know it would turn into an adventure with twists and turns. Cloudy Day Dilemma: Opting for a midday session after a night of festivities seemed like a good idea until I arrived. Watching others soar through the sky while waiting for my guide for nearly half an hour, I couldn't help but regret not choosing an earlier time. Unexpected Cloud Interruption: As if on cue, the skies decided to play a trick on me, and thick clouds forced a temporary halt to the activity. I had to hope and wait it out as I unable to come back the next day. However, the allure of the skies kept me waiting. The Long Wait: Three hours later, and with a carnival event looming, the clouds finally parted. I was both excited and relieved to get my chance, even if it meant being the last one in line. Patience paid off, and the anticipation built as I prepared to take flight. Last Flight of the Day: As the last glider to take off, I might not have stayed in the air as long as others, but the breathtaking views over Brazil made every moment worthwhile. The landscape below was awe-inspiring, and the sheer joy of being airborne lifted my spirits. Unexpected Gratitude: To make up for the long wait, my guide surprised me with some video footage of the flight, a gesture that turned my mood around. Despite the initial setbacks, I felt grateful for the unexpected kindness and the chance to have a unique birthday adventure. Final Thoughts: Hang gliding in Rio is a must-do, and despite the cloudy start, I highly recommend it. The hiccups at the beginning were forgotten the moment I was soaring through the air, realizing the beauty of Brazil beneath me. Paragliding is neat, but hangliding is neater because you are like a bird. And the scenery around Rio is magnificent. Only complaint is that the ride was only 6 minutes. When the weather is good, they have to pack in the rides. I think the weather was bad for 2 or 3 days before I could get my ride.

This is an EXCELLENT day out, the staff were amazingly friendly. All the arrangements / logistics were spot on. I am a commercial airline pilot and I was particularly impressed with the safety checks, briefing before take off etc. Spectacular views, excellent pilots and overall a brilliant day out. HIGHLY recommended.
