Unfortunately we couldn't make it to Boti Waterfalls as one of us was not well enough to go on a long trip required to get there, so that has affected the rating, although not much. It was great walking around Aburi Botanical Gardens, and the guide was very knowledgeable and brought the history to life. To be fair, this was a trip where we could have just hired a car with a driver for the day to get there, which would have been a third of the cost of the whole trip (even if we included going on to the waterfalls). Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa farms wasn't worth it at all. There was nothing to see. All in all, way, way over priced for what it was. This wasn't a good investment but you live and learn!

Totally recommend this experience! Descended the steps to the falls with our guide Kofi. Very soothing and relaxing. Then went on a high sensation hike to the umbrella rock: unforgettable experience! Finish by hiking to the three-headed palm tree: very spiritual! Loved every moment including the ride back by moto-taxi.

From the point of booking our tour to Aburi & Boti Waterfalls the communication from Kweku was excellent. Due to the dry season I was informed that Boti Waterfalls had stopped flowing and we were offered a choice of 2 alternatives. We chose to include Safari Valley in our tour. Kofi our guide arrived at our hotel to collect us ahead of time. He was so friendly and full of information throughout our comfortable journey out of busy Accra towards towards the Eastern Region. We had a separate driver who navigated the traffic really safely whilst Kofi guided and talked us through the main points of attraction as well as providing some local information throughout the trip. We really appreciated his company and good humour. Aburi was beautiful and our guide there was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We tried Palm Wine and made a couple of purchases at the end with Kofi's assistance. Our trip to Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm was peaceful and insightful and Safari Valley was absolutely incredible. The staff all seemed so happy to show us around and share their knowledge with us. The grounds were vast and beautiful and we got up close with quite a few of the animals. The lunch and service throughout was impeccable. Overall, we had one of the best days of our Ghanaian trip and it was well worth the money. We arrived back at our hotel in the early evening both tired and extremely happy. A special thanks to Kofi and to our driver and thanks to Kweku for also calling at the end of the day to make sure our trip had gone well. We hope to see you on our next visit to Ghana.

I couldn't do the waterfalls because of the dry season, so I went to La Badi Beach instead. I had a great day, thanks to the kind and reliable tour guide Michael. They were very well organized. I recommend them!

This tour exceeded my expectations! I was promptly picked up from my hotel and was warmly welcomed by my tour guide Isaac. He was very friendly, attentive and clearly explained every steps of the tour. He even explained some main sights and places we drove by without me asking. I had a very good experience with this tour company I will definitely return to Ghana and I will definitely use this tour company again! Thank you so much Isaac for making my tour a memorable one .

This was done on our third day in Ghana. Let me tell you this was our favorite experience of them all. We went to the garden which had us in awe of the land. Our tour guide and driver understood the assignment and made sure each moment and understanding of the land was covered. We learned about the cocoa farms and had great tours for both. The highlight was the waterfall!!! I got all the way in trying to take in the entire experience! They didn’t know it was our 15 year anniversary but they pulled out all the stops on this tour and we got many photos from the experience … the all is not allowing me to upload 🥺 The best best part was our driver! He was super safe and did not run over the million holes and gravel while we were on board. We really appreciated his safety during the day. Must do!!!!

Highly recommend! Isaac is a great guide, and I thoroughly enjoyed each of the stops! For me the real stand outs were Umbrella Rock and the Boti Waterfalls, which were easily the most beautiful scenery I saw in Ghana. It's also a very easy day trip, Isaac and our driver picked me up at my hotel in the morning and dropped me off at the end of the day. Top tip would be to have a good breakfast and bring a decent snack for the hike, as there aren't too may opportunities to get food throughout the day. The hike near Boti does require a good bit of climbing up and down rocks, so might not recommend for anyone looking for a leisurely stroll, but I found it very fun and the view is 100% worth it!

This was an excellent experience! Michael was absolutely THE best and a highlight of our entire trip. He was friendly, professional, personable, and had a great sense of humor. (I wish he could've done all of our tours while in Ghana.) The transition between him and the onsite guides was smooth. The onsite guide at Aburi Botanical Gardens taught us a lot and allowed for an interactive experience with some of the plants there. The onsite guide at Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm was also very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about cocoa and how it's farmed and prepared for processing. We were able to try the fruit off of the tree, so that was really cool. The double waterfall at Boti Waterfalls was maybe the best part of our visit to Ghana. I was not physically prepared for the hike, but I'm glad we were able to complete it. You will need good shoes, ankles, and thighs for the hike and then for the walk to the waterfall (These are separate things). Our driver, Kwabena, helped me so much during the hike (much appreciated!!).He was awesome at navigating the roads to/from Boti also. He and Michael were just really good guys and kept our spirits up and kept us laughing as we completed the hike in record time. Definitely ask for breaks when/if you need them. You should also pack lite so you don't have a heavy backpack to take with you. Michael taught us a lot about the Ghanaian culture. We asked questions about almost everything and he was always nice about it. I would definitely recommend this tour group as they were helpful booking an additional tour too. Please remember to tip all of your guides and your driver.

Fantastic itinerary, great transport as well (bumpy roads but brilliant driver and comfy van). Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and took our ages into account in refining the tour, such as the best option for accessing Umbrella Rock. The guides at the sites were informative as well, a great day out from Accra!

A truly wonderful, comfortable, safe way to see these amazing sites. It wasn't clear to me at first that this tour would be just me in a private car (I presume that a small group would travel together, but I was solo), but that made it even better. Michael was an excellent tour guide: polite, practiced, and fun. The drive itself is a useful way to get a sense of Ghana outside of Accra, and the sites you visit range from interesting to stunning. Highly recommend.

Our driver, Michael, was so kind and the main reason we survived the tour lol. I didn’t read the fine print when I booked AT ALL. I booked it for me and my mother, but I didn’t realize that a hike would be involved until we were in the thick of it. She’s in her 60s and we are not hikers - far from it. Long story short she made it, I barely did. We (really I) couldn’t make it to the tree unless a rescue team was available to carry me the rest of the way. Thankfully, the small river stream was nearby so I could rejuvenate in the water because I needed all the ancestors to give me strength for the hike back. Michael was carrying our bags, helping us up and down the rocks AND fanning us. I can’t express our gratitude enough for him! Even with my mishap, this was one of our favorite tours. My mother was so proud of her accomplishment making it up to Umbrella rock. We’d definitely book this tour again and make it through that hike in one piece! Beginners should have no problem with this tour though. Thank you for the experience!

Today was such an active day. And it was full: Botanical Gardens, Cocoa Farm, then Boti Waterfalls. Our guide was Michael and he was very nice and knowledgeable about all things Accra. The ride to the Botanical Gardens was up a mountain. Took about an hour or so. Very scenic views on the drive up. Once inside the Gardens, we had a separate guide that worked at the Gardens whom showed us around. Michael accompanied us every step of the way. The Botanical Gardens was incredibly beautiful. We were headed to the Cocoa Farm next. The farm was about 30 mins from the Botanical Gardens. We learned about the fermentation process for turning the cocoa beans from white to brown. After that, we went to the Boti Falls. Boti was an hour and a half away from the Cocoa Farm. The Boti Falls were AMAZING. We hiked 45 mins up and 45 mins down. It was a tough hike!!!! And I'm in pretty good shape. But I must say, once we were at the top, the view was spectacular. Very well worth it. The path to the waterfall begins once you've descended back down the mountain to the original starting point. Once you are back at the starting point, you walk an additional 250 steps down to the waterfall. Beautiful! It was a jam-packed day with lots and lots of hiking and walking so please please please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. I had a great time and would highly recommend this tour!

Isaac was a great host who was very welcoming. The private tour was very personable and allowed for the opportunity to experience other regions outside of Greater Accra. The knowledge learned at both Aburi Botanical Gardens and Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm was enlightening and rewarding, not to mention the unique foliage surrounding the area. The Boti waterfalls were great to see, even with the minimal flowing water. Although the hike was definitely one for the books, traversing rocks, it was well worth the experience and views.
