My friends and I did the 11-day EBC trek and had a great time. The trek was well planned out, with built in acclimatization days and a slower start, ramping up in difficulty. Dil was responsive and ensured we had everything we needed the day before starting. The hotel was included the nights before and after the trek, which made coordination a breeze. Our guide, Prasan, was knowledgeable and friendly, and taught us a lot about the local culture. The accommodations and food on the trek were better than we expected, and we all gained a love for sherpa stew. This was the experience of a lifetime and I recommend Alpine Ramble for anyone planning an EBC trek!!

Prior to completing our EBC trek we did a lot of research into different companies, and are so happy we decided to go with Alpine Ramble Treks, from first communication with Dil, any questions we had he answered in a timely manner and on meeting him for our pre-trip meeting, he was super friendly, knowledgeable and really cares about his customers. Our trip was planned very well and there were no hiccups with the logistics. We met our guide Amar Gurung and porter Suk at Lukla and we instantly knew we were in very capable hands. Amar was a great guide, an extremely caring person and had our health and welfare as his top priority. I unfortunately got sick with food poisoning on the 4th day in Namache Bazaar, but knew I was in very safe hands with Amar, and we continued our trek. Suk our porter is amazing and so strong and met us every morning with a smile. We enjoyed getting to know both of them and hearing about their lives, families, traditions etc. We not only left the trek, completing our goal of getting to Everest BC but we made friends for life in Amar and Suk. I would strongly recommend anybody looking at booking a trek picks Alpine Ramble as nothing was too much trouble for them, everything was arranged well and everybody is super caring and knowledgeable :) Ask for Amar and Suk if you want the best experience! Thanks so much for looking after us Alpine Ramble and allowing us explore your beautiful country with you :)

The iconic Mount Everest Base Camp trekking was one of the best experiences of my lifetime. It was challenging but every bit was worth it. Being surrounded by the breathtaking views made it all worth it. There is so much to reflect on, a trek which was very humbling and satisfying. Our guide Ramji was the best. It was his professional support that made this trek so much better for us and he was so much more than just a guide for us. I would very highly recommend Ramji, he is the best guide for this trek!!!!’

My buddy and I (both 60 year olds) took a 15 day Gokyo Lakes - Everest Base Camp Loop trek with Alpine Ramble. Amar was our guide and Suk was our porter. The trip was incredibly beautiful. It’s near impossible to capture the grandness and beauty pictures. It was just spectacular. The elements (weather, trail, etc) were intense. Amar was an excellent guide. He knew the trek extremely well and was totally there to culture safety, an adventure and our comfort to the best of his ability. He was super personable and resourceful. He handled our concerns and anxieties very well. I was glad that we had Amar as our trusted guide. Suk was our porter. Again he was an enthusiastic member of our team who skillfully, powerfully assisting Amar in guiding and watching out for our group of 4. He was extremely personable and even handed in sharing his skills, observations and himself. Dil, Owner of Alpine Ramble, was generous, professional, and ever present as we made our way to, thru and after the trek. He’s likeable, knowledgeable and sincere about the adventure he promised and delivered on. I definitely would recommend an Alpine Ramble trek because of the rich positive experience I had with Amar, Suk and Dil. This trek was an experience of a lifetime! I had the best time with the 12 days trek to Everest base camp! Arpon and Tek were great guides always trying to help us everytime we needed and always asking us if we needed something. The porters are also excelents helping us all the time. But if you are planning to go, try to leave 3 or 4 days extras in case you have problems with the airplane in Lukla, because the airport frequently closes due to bad wheater.

Just completed the 10 day EBC trek with Dik Rai as our guide and his brother Mane as our porter. We had an amazing time and felt really taken care of. Alpine ramble are very accommodating with whatever your travel schedule and will aim to deliver to your travel expectations as much as possible. Dik rai was an excellent guide with a wealth of experience. He was able to answer any questions we had no matter how trivial. I was having some issues with the altitude after reaching EBC but he was able to safely navigate me through that and we managed to descend promptly without much issue. I would highly recommend alpine ramble to my friends and family and hope everyone has a chance to go this adventure of a lifetime!

I highly recommend Alpine Ramble for your hiking adventures! Laxman is an amazing guide and ensured that we were setup for success in every aspect of the trip. We learned so much about the culture and mountains, peaks & hills from him. He was aware that I have a weak knee and helped guide me on unsteady areas to ensure I was safe. Laxman provided us amazing customer service.

I did the 12 day trek to EBC, and what a wonderful experience! Alpine Ramble is an amazing company to book with. The booking process was smooth and Dil (founder) answered any questions throughly and promptly. Our guides Prasan and Dil were absolutely amazing! They knew so much about the region and really made the trip special. I went solo and met the other people in my group tour the day we started the trek (4 person tour). It was a fun challenge and the views 😍 were stunning. Had great weather most of the trip, and were well taken care of by everyone at Alpine Ramble. Love the Alpine Ramble hat we got as well. 10/10 recommend this company to book with!

Incredible experience, it's hard to put into words, but I'll give it a go... Alpine Ramble Company in general: Dill was really helpful and a great communicator and we felt the company puts lots of effort into going above and beyond from the supplies provided, to the extra treats and snacks and then to marking the achievement following the Everest basecamp trek. Everything has been thought of. Dill was also very understanding when I was having some payment issues. Guide: Tilak 'the mountain king' 😊 was incredible from start to finish. He's been doing the basecamp trek for 23 years and has so much experience and is so knowledgeable about the trail in general and around being able to provide guidance in terms of what to do to ensure everyone is successful (tips to keep well and what to eat etc). He outlined the plan for each day the evening before, everything was always very clear and professional. In addition, he's great company and keeps up spirits when required and adjusts the pace to suit the energy levels and ability of the group without making anyone feel under pressure. Safety: Tilak did everything to ensure he was always aware of how we were feeling and our safety was of upmost concern to him. It became apparent that this isn't the norm and we were very thankful on a number of occasions that we had Tilak checking our oxygen levels every night. It made us feel very at ease. Overall, we had the most incredible time from dancing, to singing, to moaning through sunshine and blizzard and everything in between. It wouldn't have been the same without Tilak. I still have people asking about him as he became very popular on our Instagram updates. I would have no hesitation in reccomending Alpine and Tilak, in fact I highly encourage booking with them 😊 Thanks so much to them again, we had an amazing time. Ciara

Alpine Ramble is a best in class Nepalese trekking outfitter. It became very clear during our trek how respected the organization is among the tea house operators. Would recommend to anyone looking to book an EBC or Annapurna trek. Dil Gurung, the owner, is highly competent, friendly, responsive and genuinely cares that you have an amazing time in the mountains of Nepal

After minor scheduling mixups and weather delays the trek kicked off wonderfully. All flights were canceled the day i was to fly to Lukla and was having challenges getting on a flight the second day. Then Dil and Alpine Ramble really came through with a helicopter ride to Lukla. That’s was an amazing experience and greatly appreciated. During the trek my guide Nir and my porter Bhupal were the best. They ensured everything was taken care of the entire journey. I never had to worry about anything from lodging, food, water, health well being. They were always there for anything. The quality of service, hospitality, and genuine sincerity of Dil, Nir, and Bhupal was top notch. I would highly recommend Alpine Ramble Treks!

Wow where to start - we had the most amazing trip! We landed in Kathmandu Airport and met our guide Tilak who was so friendly and knowledgeable from day 1 right through our trip! He has over 20 years experience trekking to Base Camp and his number one priority was getting us there and back safely.. and he succeeded! Every day we had the most amazing views and Tilak taught us so much about the mountains and the culture. We felt so safe with Tilak, he checked our oxygen levels every night and gave us advice on how to avoid getting sick. He also let us tailor our trip, giving us the option to take different routes or leave at different times "we have time"! We met other trekkers who did not have the same level of support and safety from their guide and trekking company and we were so grateful to have Tilak! Dil was also so helpful and welcoming when we arrived and he gave us the option to start our trek a day early to get the best chance of completing it! Thank you Tilak and Dil for everything, and for advising we hike to Kala Pathar which really was the highlight of the trip. Tilak was also a great photographer, capturing the photos below 😊 I 100% recommend booking with Alpine Ramble Treks and requesting Tilak..thank me later!

My wife & booked a 8 day EBC trip, and were grateful to find a renowned company that offered this, as we were short on time. Our oxygen levels were tested each night and Alpine Ramble were very clear about the availability of an extra acclimatisation day, if it was needed. I knew this company didn’t take risks with its clientele, which was a reassurance. The day before our trek started we had a great briefing with Dil from Alpine Ramble, and also met our guide Amar. We were doing our trek a week or so before the ‘season’ started, and Amar was brilliant throughout. When my wife was low on energy or slow he’d walk behind and remain close. His knowledge of various peaks, monuments and sites was exceptional. And he was as determined to see us reach our goals as we were. My journey to the top of Kala Patthar was something I could not have managed (in high winds and low temperatures) without his expert guidance. From the booking process, to the information received ahead of the trek, to the trek itself- I would absolutely use Alpine Ramble again. Indeed, we have a few days in Kathmandu after this trek, and we intend to book another excursion with them during this time.

Did the 16-day EBC and Cho La Pass trek with Alpine Ramble. This was an amazing experience which we successfully completed. The itinerary worked well and we had no issues with altitude sickness or any problems with food poisoning. The food at the teahouses in fact exceeded my expectations. Special mention to our guide Dik Rai and our porter (his brother) Lak Rai. They were both very friendly and professional and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They looked after us well and put a lof of care into ensuring we had all the advice we needed to complete the trek. I would recommend requesting them by name if you take a trek with Alpine Ramble.
