Raju Suwal was out tour guide today. Excellent young man, well spoken well educated and knows these historical sites and the history of there creation. We had a full day of exciting visits and good company. This is a first rate outfitter and I strongly recommend them for future travel to Nrpal.

My wife and I embarked on an unforgettable 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Exciting Nepal Treks from November 28th to December 9th, 2023. Their insight revealed that we had underestimated the severity of the cold weather we might encounter. Sabash and Suman promptly provided us with proper sleeping bags, down jackets, and trekking poles (our original ones were damaged during the flight), which proved to be life-saving! Our guide, Suman, and porter, Tikaram, were exceptional. Both displayed extensive experience and unwavering assistance throughout. Suman attentively looked after my wife, while Tikaram ensured my safety. Along the trek, they generously shared their knowledge of the local cultures, lifestyles, and the region itself. At Namche and Dingboche, they took us to viewpoints for acclimatization, a crucial aid in adjusting to the altitude. Suman and Tikaram were instrumental throughout the trip; we owe our successful journey to their unwavering support. I highly recommend this team to anyone planning a trekking adventure in Nepal.

As a beginner trekker I always dreamed about reaching the foothills of the highest peak in the entire world. I was told that the Everest Base Camp Trek, the highest base camp adventure in the world was not an easy feat, when I reached out to the Exciting Nepal Treks and Expedition they assured me that I could complete this trek with enough preparation. Our trek guide Mr. Bishnu who has years of experience in the Everest region made sure that everyone was feeling comfortable and enjoying the adventure. He made sure to take extra care of the trekkers who were new to the region, our health conditions and oxygen level was monitored on daily basis to see how well we were adapting to the rising altitude. Thanks to the genuine and loving team from Exciting Nepal I was able to live my dream and collect many fond memories in this adventure.

This was my first time doing the Everest Base Camp Trek and you have no idea how much glad I am that I chose with wonderful agency for my trek. I did the 9 day trek with helicopter return. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Subash from Exciting Nepal was fantastic in providing information, responding to my many questions, and giving advice. Everything was incredibly well organized. The price is very competitive considering everything you get! They also offered an accommodation upgrade to the best tea houses at an additional cost. I would highly recommend considering this, as we stayed in amazing accommodations. They also provide sleeping bag, feather jacket, and hiking poles included in the price! It was worth every penny and I can't recommend this travel agency enough! The whole experience was excellent. Our guide Basu was great! He went out of his way to make the experience one to never forget! He is knowledgeable, continuously checked up on our health, and ensured we continued at a pace that will give us the best chance of reaching base camp. Thank you Exciting Nepal! My wife & I did the 10 day EBC Trek & Helicopter return on our Honeymoon, which ended up being private with only us, our Trek Guide & Porter—and what a phenomenal experience it was!!! Subash communicated all the admin planning & was clear, concise, answering every question + providing honest feedback for questions and advice about the entire planned excursion into the Himalayas. Top tier trust & man! That said, our main interactions from being picked up at the Airport was with our Trek Guide—Shasi (Sass-ie) & Tika, our Porter. Shasi was and is a major part of how extraordinary our trek & experience was. Kind, welcoming & always positive, he took us from the Airport to our hotel, hotel to the Office for equipment pick up (duffles, sleeping bags & poles), hotel to airport for our flight to Lukla, introduced us to Tika—our broad smiled, Nepalese singing Porter who was always cracking jokes & is as strong as an ox carrying our duffles & his bag all in one!!! On their fourth trek together—Shasi & Tika are close friends and are the powerhouse of a Guide & Porter combo!!! This trek is 10 days long and strenuous, but with the right guide and Porter to provide absolute reliance, this ended up being one of the highlights of our lives to date. Of course, making it to Base Camp & seeing Everest show herself throughout the hike was both breathtaking & an incredibly humbling reward for the effort made to make it all the way there & back. But this was our hope going in & it did not disappoint!! That said, what we did not expect was to end this hike with tears in our eyes at the thought of having to part ways with the two “brothers” we found in Shasi & Tika. We grew quickly to feel like a small family of 4 & that played a huge role in not only our enjoyment throughout the Trek but in getting us to the end. Endlessly positive & trustworthy, Shasi reviewed everyday with us the night prior, adjusting the timings to make our pace based on each day and our progress as we got closer to Base Camp. He provided us with endless encouragement, support with detailed experience around the altitude & checked on how we were, advising us each day with info to ensure we both made it all the way there safely. To be clear—while fitness can be trained for, the effects of altitude play a massive factor in this trek. It can take a toll on one’s mental will, so having a strong and honest guide is essential for feeling safe and secure as you progress higher and higher. Many other trekkers turned back and did not make it, as this adventure into the Himalayas is strenuous, but as Shasi reminded us hourly & daily—like the Tortoise & Hare fable—slow and steady is the way: “Bistare, bistare.” Not only did Shasi & Tika get us to EBC & on a helicopter back to Lukla, but they—who could not fly back down with us—raced back down through the Mts. at an unbelievable pace & BOTH showed up to reunite with us in Lukla less than 24 hours after we parted with them at Gorek Shep, waving from our helicopter. They are heroes amongst men: Saying goodbyes as we boarded our chopper at 10am on Day 9, they ran back down through all our 8 days of trekking in a matter of 15 straight hours, sleeping 3hrs from 1am to 4am that night & waking to cover the last 3hrs to meet us at 7am in Lukla on Day 10. Tika did not have to come, but his commitment, friendship & bond to Shasi saw him accompany him—and Shasi boarded our return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu WITH US & dropped us at our hotel in a cab he arranged for us. That was our 2nd goodbye!!! But fortune saw us get a 3rd as he re-entered our hotel 4 days later, walking into our hotel lobby to take us to the airport—committed as he was to see us off personally from Nepal. Both of these men became the centre of our adventure & it wouldn’t and COULDN’T have been the same without them!!! If anyone asked us about this trek and wanted to do it themselves, our unwavering reply & advice would be to ONLY do it with Exciting Nepal, as a Company (as there are MANY companies to pick from), but more importantly, SPECIFICALLY with the request for Shasi & Tika!!! We can never forget all the little & large gestures they did for us & forever will their names and memories bring warmth to our hearts and broad smiles to our faces (like Tika’s every morning)! Though we said it 100x in as many ways as we could: Thank you, Shasi. Thank you, Tika. You both are extraordinary, kind, and strong men for all that you do. Thank you, Subash & Exciting Nepal for the trek & opportunity to pursue such an adventure … but thank you MORE for giving us these two men. We will never forget you & all that you taught us! Though only they will get this inside joke: “Thank you & welcome to Nepal!”

The trip was once in a lifetime opportunity. Subash was excellent in making sure we had the best experience possible. Due to Covid and personal reasons we were planning this trip for nearly 4 years and he was both patient and informative. I also like the flexibility in the schedule. We didn't have much time in Nepal so we shortened our trip to have no rest days (I don't recommend this but was good to have the option because of the time constraint that we had). The sherpa (Shasi) and the two porters (Surat and Devon) were fantastic as well. Very knowledgeable and proud of their country. They provided excellent service and made the experience that much more enjoyable. When members of our group became ill, due to altitude, they were quick to respond and knew the proper remedies to help with the situation. Overall very good service and would recommend them to anyone going on a hike in Nepal! The only thing to watch (which is NOT the company's fault) is transportation from Lukla airport. The airport was not operating regularly for 5 days and we had our international flight leaving the next day. The closed airport left over 2,000 people starting or ending their hike stranded. So depending on your trip itinerary you may need to hire a helicopter to get you to or from (which can get pricey).

Just finished my Everest Base Camp trek with Exciting Nepal and they were amazing throughout the trip. The monsoon trip was a little hectic to manage but all thanks to the team, it went by very smoothly. The trails were quite serene and walking through the Himalayas within such a serene environment was a dream. Definitely recommend them if you want to do EBC!! Done - August 2023 With - Friends

Very well well-organized trip with an Exciting Nepal trek. W had to change our plan to the Everest base camp trek at the last minute. We arrived earlier than expected, and Mr subash changed our plans with no issues. Everything was well organized for us, from picking us up at the airport to dropping us off. The journey itself was an extraordinary adventure. Our guide, Basu, left a lasting impression on us, and we cannot speak highly enough of him. He provided us with valuable insights about the trip and offered recommendations on local cuisine and beverages. Throughout the ascent to Kala Pathar, he demonstrated remarkable patience and assisted us in reaching the summit. He truly made our trip unforgettable.

I just completed my Everest Base Camp trek last month and checked it off my bucket list after wanting to do it for decades. I had been so intimidated to approach this trek because of the grandness attached to it. However, it was quite adventurous and not as scary as I always thought it would be. I think it has a lot to do with the team at Exciting Nepal, who made things so much easier. My friends had gotten a little under the weather back in Tengboche, but the team made every right choice to help me and my friends complete the trek successfully. If anyone wants to do the EBC trek, I highly recommend you choose them!!

I did the Everest base camp trek finally after years of planning, and it was a definite success, thanks to exciting Nepal. We got a very smooth and comfortable itinerary with the best possible lodging and food. The trek was obviously quite tough as we had to walk through very rough terrains. Every walk included some sort of suspension bridge hike, climbs, or descents. It was rough, but we managed it with our great team of guides and porters. We succeeded with our hikes and got to reach the marvelous base camp. We also saw mount Everest from various viewpoints, and it was an ethereal experience. Apart from Everest, I personally found our stay at Namche the best and would love to visit Khumbu just for Namche.

As cheesy as it is going to sound this was definitely a trip in the bucket list for a long time. From what I have heard altitude sickness, fearsome gales, massive avalanches and temperatures that feel like -30C all add to a challenging adventure holiday with awesome scenery. So finally this March 2023 when I had my annual vacation I and some of my friend decided that it was the time to stare the beast in its face and go for it. I loved this trek. The guides created a safe and supportive atmosphere which allowed us to go beyond our imagined limits. This is a trek where you will need both Physical and Mental preparedness. It is more of a meditation rather than an expedition. So in my opinion it is not a hard trek, but it’s not easy one as well. Hope this helps and encourages anybody else who is thinking of giving it a try. I would suggest to go with this company because we were able to have as much fun because of the awesome plannings on their part.

EBC trek was top on my bucket list since 2019 but I wasn’t able to do it due to COVID. This year, however, I made up time and did the EBC trek with Exciting Nepal. They organized a perfect trip with the best companies and amazing amenities. The trek was obviously very exhausting, but it was worth the hard work. My personal favorite destinations were Namche Bazar and Kala Patthar. Naamche was just unique for having a little urban blend to such remote place and Kala Pathhar was just mesmerizing with its vistas. Views of mountains in Khumbu were mesmerizing throughout the trip. Every stop we made gave unique views of so many landscapes and mountains. Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Damblam, Everest itself, you name it! It was awesome!

I recently went on an epic trek to Everest Base Camp through Exciting Nepal with some friends, an experience I will never forget. We started our journey in Lukla, a small village with a notoriously dangerous airport. But we did land very safely. As we trekked toward Namche Bazaar, we were amazed by the stunning scenery and the warm hospitality of the locals. We stopped at several tea houses along the way and were always greeted with a friendly smile and a hot cup of tea. Mingmar, who was our porter, made sure that our backpacks were always light and easy to carry, and he even helped us find an extra jacket when we forgot to bring enough layers. As we continued our trek toward Base Camp, we encountered several challenges. We had to pass through icy trails and steep inclines, but our guides, Pasang and Mingmar, were always there to lend a helping hand. They always shared stories about their own experiences in the mountains. That was a great inspiration for us to make it through our daily treks. When we finally reached Everest Base Camp, we were overjoyed and exhausted. We had decided then and there that no other trekking experience could top this. Such an experience would not have been achieved without the amazing team of guides and porters who made our journey safe, comfortable, and fun. Overall, the Everest Base Camp trek was an unforgettable experience filled with breathtaking views, challenging hikes, and incredible people. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime to do this and definitely choose exciting Nepal!

I did the EBC trek due to the general thrill of wanting to see Everest up close. But once I experienced it, I finished the trek with a different type of significance. The trip became more about getting to know people than the thrill or adventure. The Everest Base Camp trek offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich Sherpa culture. Khumbu is highly populated by the Sherpa community. We visited several traditional Sherpa hamlets along the way. They each had unique traditions and artifacts. We came across several monasteries in the Himalayas, which was a quite unique experience. Luckily our guide Choden was also a native of the Khumbu region and even let us visit his home. It was quite a beautiful experience. This trek is a wonderful way to connect with people. I would gladly visit the place as many times as I possibly can.

I had always dreamt of doing the Everest Base Camp challenge but was always intimidated by it. When I came across the 12-day Everest base camp trek, I was unsure if I could complete it. But thanks to exciting Nepal treks and their amazing trekking pacakage, I successfully completed it. Our guide Lakpa and porter, Sonam, were the best of friends we made during our trek. They made sure everything for the trek was in order. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to complete my dream of reaching the base of Everest.

The trek takes you through the stunning Khumbu Valley, home to some of the highest mountains in the world. The trek offers a chance to experience the region's natural beauty, including glaciers, rivers, and snow-capped peaks. The protected Sagarmatha National park showed us the unique flora and fauna of the region. We saw everything that is to see in the Himalayan wildlife, from rhododendrons to yaks. This trek is a must-do for nature lovers. The exciting Nepal tour guides were kind enough to teach us everything there is to know about it. We highly recommend you chose them for your EBC trek!

The Exciting Nepal Treks and Expedition organized a hike to Everest Base Camp for my friends and me, and it couldn't have gone better. Our guides and porters were highly experienced, beneficial, and trustworthy. The guides set a perfect pace, checking in with us throughout the ascent and descent to make sure we were okay and we didn't push too hard. I took a well-needed breather on a rocky bridge and took a few photographs of the view. I noticed my trail buddy's hiking pole in the middle of the bridge but didn't think anything of it at the time. So, I continued hiking without my pole, realizing it was missing.
