The helicopter ride to mt everest is the best travel experience we’ve had! The service offered by the guide, the pilot and all other staff members were impeccable and we are very thankful for their hospitality :)

If you want to experience the Himalayas, take this tour. It's simply breathtaking. It's a once in a lifetime experience. The view from the Everest view hotel is gorgeous. The ride was safe. We didn't have anything to worry about as we were in safe hands. Also, the tour coordinator "Buddhi" is super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He dropped by the hotel a day before the tour and briefed about the tour. It's all well coordinated and I personally & highly recommend the tour and the agent.

I loved this tour! Right from the beginning my guide took care of everything for me and explained in detail the process of it all. He spoke great English and even lent me a coat so I wouldn’t have to buy one just for this trip. I saw everything I wanted to see, I was so happy when I got to see the basecamp and kumbu ice fall. The breakfast at hotel was great and great views! I highly recommend this tour! Buddi was a pleasure to work with and so very kind and professional. It’s totally worth the money and I would do it again in a heartbeat

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour provided an exhilarating way to witness the grandeur of the Himalayas, enriched by the dynamics of multiple take-offs and landings which added an exciting pulse to the entire experience. Having the opportunity to sit up front was a delight; to my surprise, the captain conversed fluently in Russian, which added a personalized touch to the flight. The tour offered some spectacular views, especially from the restaurant at the Everest View Hotel, where the stunning vista makes you wish you could stay longer. It’s tantalizing to think about the potential of staying overnight at the hotel, and I hope in the future they might consider offering a tour option that includes an overnight stay with a next-day helicopter pick-up. Flying low over the landscape, the tour afforded us crystal-clear views of the undulating hills and towering mountains, a stark contrast to the haziness we experienced back in Kathmandu. Up here, the sky was remarkably clear and the weather warmly inviting. However, there’s room for improvement regarding the scheduling of the flights. We spent a significant amount of time waiting for our helicopter while others were simultaneously taking off, which was a bit confusing. Moreover, clearer communication about the seating arrangements at the beginning of the tour would enhance the experience. A simple seating map provided for each flight segment could easily remedy this confusion. In conclusion, despite a few logistical tweaks needed, the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour was an unforgettable journey that offered unique perspectives of the world’s most famous mountain range. It’s an exceptional experience that adventurous souls and nature lovers would find deeply rewarding. This review incorporates your experiences and observations. You can tweak it further to better match your voice or any additional details you recall from your trip!

From the veery beginning Buddhi made sure everything was well taken care of and that I knew what to expect on the trip. Neither of us could predict that the weather would rapidly change and our small tour group would have to spend the night in the Himalayans mountains. But again, Buddhi made sure everything was taken care of. He secured a local guide to take us to a small and authentic village to stay in a Tea House which was fabulous. The hosts were so hospitable and place was amazing as was the food. our guide took us back to the pick-up point the next morning in what was a wonderfully little hike with clear skies and stunning views. Even though the weather unexpectedly changed our plans, Buddhi stayed in touch with us through the entire time and had everting under control even helping me extend my hotel. All of our group suggested to Buddhi that they should add an overnight stay to their package. It was an amazing experience. The way they took care of use shows how much they are committed to customer service.

Pretty much everything was memorable. Once in a lifetime trip. All was explained to us by our guide, and the helicopter pilots checked on the passengers a few times. My suggestion to others is just be prepared mentally to stick it out if you're not the best flyer. Don't do this if you're bored, or not sure. Once you're up the helicopter pilots can't do much until you land at the next prepared stop.

What can I say about this experience that will do it justice. Let’s start with the booking: I was a solo traveler to Katmandu on a weekend impulse trip. As such was on high alert for scams and over pricing. Contacted Buddhi on WhatsApp and next thing I know he is at my hotel on Friday evening walking me through the whole process. No pressure tactics, it was so refreshing The man is an absolute treasure. If you are in Kathmandu not only do I recommend him but it’s the only way to plan your excursions. As far as the activity itself, I did not think it was possible to form core memories at 45 but the entire event plays plays in front of my eyes every time I close them. This particular experience does not land on Kalapatthar but rather in Pheriche. Having seen user photos of Kalapatthar and having experienced Pheriche I can say with certainty the latter is the better option. We had 2 hours at Everest hotel due to the pilot making another run and I would say it was the perfect amount of time at hotel Everest view . The official time of 45 minutes is too short. Our entire group of 5 explored and goofed off for a solid hour. As far as the fly by base camp and Everest, as one of my fellow traveler put it: it’s like being on another planet. We were at 19500 feet and it towered over us. It was surreal to see the yellow tents of base camp and the khumbu ice falls live after seeing documentaries over the decades. This experience is definitely worth it. And even though expensive has almost 2 hours of helicopter airtime. Compare that to 15-20 mins in New York for 300. Truly a larger than life experience.

The entire journey shall be part of my most memorable lifetime experience! Captain K.K is the kind of elite pilot I shall fly with to the end of the world! So charming and professional! I never had a slightest concern about safety issue since I met with him!! For photographers, this would be your unimaginable opportunity to get pictures of not only the Mountain Everest, but the entire Himalayas. One of the best days in my life~~~

This is a once in a lifetime experience! While I had to shuffle the date around a few times due to weather, it was very much worth the wait. The tour operator and pilot were both extremely professional and experienced. If you’re in Kathmandu and thinking about this experience, don’t pass it up. It will be a memory you will never forget!

Wow! What can you say when everything is done perfectly and beyond expectations. We were met by Buhhdi the representative for the tour company at our hotel the night before the tour. He used his laptop to explain everything that would take place, showing us maps, times and photos. The next morning their vehicle picked us up at the hotel and we were driven to the airport along with a guide to see us through the security and office where we paid our park fees and weighed in for the helicopter fuel load calculations. The flight to Lukla was an eye opener for seeing how much of the terrain has been terraced and developed by families over the past several centuries . There is certainly a tremendous amount of off grid living going on. Everest was a true thrill to see along with all of the other 8k high peaks. We had breakfast on the sunny deck of a restaurant before returning to Kathmandu. A well run operation and most highly recommended
