This tour with Lillian was a highlight of our visit. She was knowledgible, passionate about all things Madrid and paced the tour perfectly. The restaurants she took us to were full of locals adding to this unique experience. We highly recommend adding this to your itinerary.

Patricia took us to tapas restaurants that we never would have found ourselves. We were the only two on this tour so she customized it to our dietary needs. Patricia also gave us an amazing overview of the City and walked us around some beautiful buildings and squares. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Madrid for just a few days.

Lilian was an absolute star as a guide. I was extremely jet lagged and the only one on the tour. She made sure we went at my own pace and she also made sure that the food we selected was to my tastes. You can tell that she loves what she does and the people in the restaurants and bars love her as well. She also found some hidden gems that only the locals know about. This tour was great to get my bearings and understand what sorts of food Madrid has to offer.

Lilian, our tour guide, was amazing and the sweetest! We had a big group and she made sure everyone was taken care of, staying aware of some of the group having allergies or not drinking alcohol. I have been living in Madrid for a bit now, and she still took us to some hidden gems that I had never heard of before that were delicious. She even left us with a list of more restaurants to try at the end of the night. We had a generous amount of food and choice of drink at every stop we went to. Definitely worth going on this tour for a true taste of Madrid!

This was an amazing experience! Lillian was a terrific tour guide and gave us the history of the city as we traveled from restaurant to restaurant. She is very pleasant, interesting and knowledgeable. We learned more about the city from her tour than our later group tour. The food was delicious as were the drinks: manchego and tortilla de papayas (Spanish frittata with eggs and potatoes) paired with vermouth; small Spanish sausages cooked in a special sauce with red wine; calamari with albarino; Spanish garlic shrimp paired with a special sweet wine; and torrijas (dessert with fried bread with milk, egg, honey - excellent). Fortunately we had Lillian to ourselves. All places were crowded on a Saturday night, but Lillian was able to get us in and served quite easily. There was abundant food and drink. We actually went back to 2 of the places on our own later. Highly recommend.

Overall an outstanding experience. Our guide Mart had an intimate knowledge of both the food scene of the area and Madrid’s history and culture. His relationship with the tapas bar owners is clearly well established and saw friendly and efficient service at all stops. Mart is also very personable and easy to get on with.

This was a great way to see Downtown Madrid. Our tour guide, Mart, was highly knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. He took us to 5 outstanding locations. You will finish this tour very full and satisfied. Really, an outstanding experience.

Absolutely perfect tour. Great food and a lovely tour guide. Worth every second. It was a good way to spend our first evening in Madrid.

The meeting location was not clear at all, provided a very general location (plaza name only) with no street address. Our uber driver took us to the wrong location because there were multiple Plaza de Villa Calles. Once we realized we were in the wrong location we couldn't make the tour as we were about 25 minutes away. Plus we had problems finding an uber to accommodate 5 people. The tour should have provided a specific locale with street address that was very clear. Very dissatisfied.

We never took the trip We went to the wrong location. We had asked our hotel front desk twice about the drop off point, spoke with Uber driber and the pleople at the place we were dropped off All said we had right location. We were there 30 min early. The meeting place was not specific especially for people. The location providrd did not jane a street address and we did not know there were multiple locations. We ended up to far away to take the tour. I will be asking for a refund.

This was very poor value for money - although the guide Lilian was very personable the quantity and variety of tapas and drinks provided did not match the tour description. The tour was supposed to last 4 hours and ended just after 3 hours. Truly there are a lot of much better value tours out there so do the research and find one. We should have done that and seen that the reviews for this tour are few and far between.

Jose was our guide and he was amazing! He shared his vast knowledge not only of food, but of Madrid. We had so much fun, ate wonderful food, and learned quite a bit as well. We all loved this tour!

Our tour guide, José, was terrific! He was so genuinely enthusiastic, friendly, kind, funny, and accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions (I’m a vegetarian). The other people on my tour (other tourists) were really nice too. I had a great time. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and book this!

Jose from Toledo was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and passionate about the history, explaining along the way while providing great tapas and drinks! When asked random questions about the history he showed a varied and discret knowledge only a real local would know. I would 19 our of 10 recommend him as a tour guide and this tour as a crash course of madrid

I really enjoyed this tapas tour around the center of Madrid. The food was very tasty so bring your appetite. Also, our guide was very knowledgeable. She shared with us a lot of terrific info about local food, wine, Madrid, and Spain in general. The atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening with Natalia , our Tapas Adventure Tour Guide. This was a private tour ( just my wife & I) and it was more than just a tapas hoping tour but rather a historical perspective of the many architectural buildings & monuments along the way. Natalia has a wealth of knowledge and in addition to the non touristy authentic tapa bars we visited, Natalia was certainty the highlight of our evening, engaging in great conversation while sharing her in-depth knowledge of Madrid and Spain. This is a tour not to be missed if your interest is in a bit of history while also experiencing and appreciating the authenticity of Madrid without a large group. The intimate experience with Natalia is one that we will remember for year to come.

Ripped off. Booked Friday night for Saturday tour. The ticket/voucher provided did not include the meeting point for the tour and despite many calls the contact number provided remained unanswered. I called and emailed urban adventures Italian office but they were also unable to confirm the meeting point. I even went to the meeting point of another tour in case they were the same place. Viator is refusing to provide a refund despite there clearly being no meeting point on the ticket and having received a copy of the email chain and text messages with the Urban Adventures showing my good faith efforts to confirm the meeting point. They don’t give a damn. The real loss is the wasted evening and headache dealing with Viator when I should be enjoying my holiday. I will never book with them ever again.
