Trip was confirmed the day before we drove 2 hours from cabo San lucas told to meet at some seedy hotel. Arrived on time and then was told marina was closed. Gee thanks for nothing but wasting our vacation time. La Paz has become very seedy. STAY AWAY

My mom, dad, and brother took this trip last October. Our guide was incredible and taught us all about the sea lions. On the way to Espiritu Santo a school of dolphins followed our boat. There was a lunch with fresh fish on the beach and more opportunities to swim. Our guide took us to snorkel at the nearby reef. This made the trip extra special. Absolutely would recommend!

When I signed up for this trip it was labeled as "snorkeling with sea lions day trip", not as "espiritu santo island day tour." It's very much the second and not the first. We snorkeled near a sea lion colony for about 15 minutes and that was it. It was barely enough time to get your bearings in the ocean. So don't take this tour if you want to do snorkel with sea lions. But it is an espiritu santo island say tour, you go all around the island and we did see some dolphins on our way back. There were 18 people on our boat, it was more than advertised but still fairly comfortable, the guide was friendly, the boat ride was smooth.

Do not book this tour if you actually want to snorkel with the sea lions. Book with On Board Baja instead. You will have a far better experience. We arrived at the meeting point promptly at 10:30 AM and stood around for about an hour before boarding the boat. Space was tight and not comfortable. Then we had to detour to Tecolote to pick up 5 more people. We also had to drop them off at end of day, adding easily an hour to our time on the boat. When we arrived at the sea lion colony we were informed that the water was full of stinging jellyfish and swimming was not advised without wetsuits. This information came FAR too late to be useful. We had a good lunch on a nice beach but unfortunately it was jammed with other tour boats full of people. And we could not stay long because we had to drop off the Tecolote group and get back to the pier by 5:30. All in all a disappointing day and really not the experience described. If I had had more information I would have booked elsewhere.

This day could have been really nice despite some issues, however, the tour operators failed to communicate or provide a decent experience, especially for the expensive cost. We made it about half way to the sea lion colony with 700 sea lions when a bolt broke on the engine. They didn’t have a replacement so had to take us to a beach to try to fix it. They set up lunch for us while they worked on this. There was a hike on the beach that we were only allowed to go on the first 100 feet of, literally. Meanwhile they hardly told us what was going on while the engine broke and just kept whispering in back. By the time they fixed it it was 3pm and we had met this tour to start at 10:30am. We tried to go snorkeling but they took us to a spot that was too deep and had not much going on. Then we settled for the sea lion colony with 80 animals and were allowed in the water for about 10 minutes. We wore life jackets with so much flotation you could hardly keep your head in the water to see. The entire day our boat driver had headphones in and was texting while operating the boat. He seems like he’s given a few too many tours and could care less. Lastly, our guide was really kind, but was so quiet we couldn’t hear almost anything he said in any language no matter how close he was to you, especially while the boat was running. Lunch was fine, service was generally poor, and the experience felt like a waste of a day of our trip. The only highlights were seeing the sea lions for 10 minutes, seeing a bird colony for 5 minutes, and happening to have a pod of dolphins near the boat for a few minutes. We will be looking for money back from this lackluster experience.

The guide was mostly speaking Spanish (very little broken English), so I had to rely on other passengers (bilingual English/Spanish) to keep up with what's happening. It was a bit frustrating specially during the snorkelling part of the trip. Otherwise, it was nice.

Nice tour with very nice and lovely guides Carlita and Axel. They really cared about all the guests; because we were the only two English speaking guests, she always translated everything for us. The tour takes you to a lot of beautiful places around Isla Espiritu Santo. Great day on the water!

The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The overall trip was beautiful and we were able to stop at a couple of beaches and one for a couple hours to snorkel. Amazing views.

It is a very picturesque and exciting outing to deserted beaches with clear blue water seeing sea lions and turtles. Our captain was terrific! The trouble was our guide did not speak English to the 6 English only passengers to tell us what we were seeing. It was dangerous when it came to snorkeling. I had no instruction. The guide did not keep track of the swimmers and I had no idea where to meet after swimming through a beautiful rock archway. It was frightening as I was left in the water and the last to board as everyone on board was finally screaming my name.

Great day on the water. We saw a breaching whale, breaching stingrays, and dolphins in the water. I also had a seal swim right under me which was thrilling. Our guides were very nice and we felt safe with them. All the equipment and the boat were in great working order. I would travel with them again or recommend them.

This tour was bad from the beginning. It left almost 1 hour late. the promised max of 8 people was 16. The promised English speaking guide could barely speak English and read from her phone. It is a long bumpy boat ride to the island. Then a short snorkel/float with the sea lions in murky water. then a stop at a beach for cerviche. long day with a bad guide. The island was a bit of a disappointment as well. not what we expected.

We were dropped off beyond the coral and snorkeled over the coral to the beach. It was amazing! I saw many fish. It was safe.

Miguel is the operator, he speaks good English and very knowledgeable about the local system. You can ask him anything regards how the society works in Mexico. The capital Omar is a sweet and nice looking guy. You may not always get him, but if you do, you get lucky!

Excellent friendly and professional service. Pick up and drop off places of your choosing. Good lunch. The sea lions come right up to your face! Snorkeling in clear waters to white sand beaches. Solid adventure, dont miss out!

Great tour guides, friendly, serviceable, great food at the beach stops. Would have loved to be on a larger, more comfortable boat though!
