We were made to feel so welcome to the château for an epicurean and wine tasting experience booked at short notice. So pleased we did. The owners were very knowledgeable and shared their understanding and insights easily with humour and personal charm that made this a highlight of our trip. The wines and taster foods were absolutely delicious. Our only regret was only having enough space for a few bottles to carry away. This was an easy bike ride following the river and a cycle path from Chinon. If you are interested n the area, don't miss it!

The owner told us some interesting stories about the history of the Chateau and the vineyard. He then gave us sample of five wines from his vineyard and explained very well the differences in each. Very pleasant tour. Richard Pinder

Greeted with a smile, a very interesting and fun afternoon. Knowledgeable guide took us around the estate. Leant a lot in a short space of time. The château is beautiful.

What a lovely experience! We were the only people booked in so had a private tour by the owners. Very informative and clearly passionate with the chateau being in the family for generations. The wine and snacks were delicious! Would recommend cycling from Chinon to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. An easy c.23km round trip. But bring a big bag to carry all the wine back!

I went there with my family and Mariela gave us the Tour through the vineyards and then through the cellar. She was great with all the explanations and was a tremendous source of knowledge, we learned a lot of things from the grapes to the wine making that had no even idea. It's a great tour as it's very personalized way better than guided tours for groups and Mariela is the best host ever. To finalize we went to the taste of not only the great wine but also some cheese which were amazing. 100% recomended

We received a good explanation on our English speaking tour, by the Canadian wife of the son of the owner of the chateau. The explanation was about the vineyards (where we went to take a look) and the production process. Do expect a Château in its old state where there is still a lot of work to do. If you go for wine that is grown with passion and in the most organic way possible, this is the place to be for you. We liked the flavors. We could not resist buying some bottles.

Visite du chais et des vignes super mais la dégustation plus que limite. Très peu à boire et à manger pour un prix de 46 euros par personne...

très sympathique découverte du château du Petit Thouars ,le propriétaire nous a passionné et nous avons fini par une dégustation avec produits locaux et vins du domaine belle expérience

Gisteren een hele mooie wijntour gehad! Veel uitleg over de geschiedenis en hoe Sebastiaan er is gekomen. Super lief en vriendelijk ontvangen. Heerlijke wijnen Zeker een tip om te doen. Je hoort het hele proces van druif tot in de fles!

Une 'petite" découverte avec tranche de saucisson a l'ail,quelques rillettes et un peu de fromage de chèvre ...reçu avec du retard, à l'extérieur. Pas du tout dans la finesse. Par contre le vin est à recommander dégustation de tous les vins avec commentaires techniques appropriés. Visite du domaine avec chance de pouvoir voir le début des vendanges et de la mise en cuve du raisin.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment : visite et dégustation de vins mais aussi excellent pique nique ! L’hote est très sympathique et accueillant ! Vins de bon rapport qualité prix

Je recommande largement, dans le cadre d un week end à moto sur les rives de la Vienne, nous nous sommes retrouvés au Château du Petit Thouars, nous y avons trouvé un hôte très chaleureux très simple qui vous met à l'aise, passionné par ce qu'il fait, la dégustation à été un moment super sympa et très conviviale, ami motard coché cette étape dans votre roadbook.

Sébastien a été tout bonnement adorable. Nous sommes arrivés mon compagnon et moi-même pour une visite de ses vignes et caves ainsi qu'une dégustation de vin et de spécialités Tourangelles (Sainte-Maure de Touraine et Rillettes de Tours) Nous devions faire cette visite accompagné d'un groupe qui avait réservé. Ce groupe n'est pas venu mais Sébastien a tenu à nous faire la visite tout de même alors qu'on venait de lui dire que l'on pouvait repasser soit l'après-midi ou un autre jour. Nous avons donc eu le grand privilège de pouvoir faire cette expérience de manière privilégiée ce qui nous a permis de bien en profiter. De plus nous étions tout accompagnés de ses 2 adorables chats "Biscuit" et "Pickles" qui nous ont suivis tout le long de la visite.
