This was a highlight of the trip for me. You’re just picking up the bikes from the front desk of a B&B, but they’ve got it down to a science. The walkie-talkie helmets and audio tour made it very easy for us to communicate and navigate our way around the peninsula. The views were stunning. And Orla was lovely, very helpful! We had a terrific time, thank you so much!

Beautiful views! Bikes are in top condition. Traffic is a bit much at times near town. Would rate this a 5 except audio in helmets really can’t be heard most of the time. GPS app is great though with pointing out sites to see. Also we could have easily taken 6 hours around, just to have plenty of time at sites (and Kruger pub). We were asked to return bikes in 3.5 hours. We returned in just over 4 hours but missed many sites.

I know now why this experience is so highly rated. We’ve just got back from our bike around the peninsula and it’s was amazing. Being on the bike gave us a really direct and personal experience, with the ability to stop and see sights you’d whizz past in a car. There’s also something to be said for feeling the breeze on your face as you cycle down with the views of the coast opening up as you go. The bikes were super fun and perfect for the experience and we covered the 40 kilometres without any difficulty, which for a couple of 50+ tourists gives you a good indicator of the fitness required. Getting set up to go was a breeze with Jade doing a ‘grand’ job of sorting us out and she was super friendly and happy to give some tips of what to look out for. Navigating the road wasn’t hard and the traffic is well use to bikers and the app which Jade helps you download before you go gives all the directions and turns. Must do if you want to see the peninsula in a different way other than out the window of your car or bus.

This bike tour was amazing. The bikes were easy to ride, even up some of the steepest hills. The scenery was incredible. They give you the ebikes to ride at your own pace. We rode for 4 hours and it went by really fast. I think we got off the route for a while and added a bit to the ride, but it was so much fun I was glad to have the extra time. Th traffic was not as worrisome as it would have been in a car. I never felt apprehensive with the cars passing. We did stop a few times to let them pass in some of the tighter areas, but generally, they passed without any concern. There were a lot of places to pull over for photos or to just take in the beauty. There were a few places that might be uncomfortable to someone that is acrophobic, but there are barriers along the road, so it was really safe. I highly recommend this experience!

An absolutely incredible experience!! You get to see so much and in the most picturesque way! It’s a long ride but it really doesn’t seem like it while you’re on the bikes. We were so glad we got to explore Slea Head this way. And the tour operator, Jade, was exceptional. She made us feel comfortable and confident before we took off. She was great! Highly suggest this activity for anyone visiting the dingle peninsula!

The people were very helpful and kind at the marina lodge, but did not seem to understand their equipment very well. Thankfully, the bikes worked just fine but one of our helmets power did expire a quarter of the way of the trip. It would’ve been nice to have that available for all of us to communicate. Amazing scenery! We highly recommend Kruger‘s pub as a Midway break. Unforgettable experience.

We had such an amazing time on this activity. I am not a biker, but the ebikes were absolutely perfect in order to experience the stunning landscape of Dingle. One of the best activities and locations we visited in Ireland over our 11 day trip.

We rented eBikes for the day to explore the Dingle peninsula and had a great experience. The proprietor gave us excellent tips for navigation, places to check out and some fun stories. Booking was easy and it was nice having a later return time to not have to rush. eBiking let us see a lot of the peninsula compared to normal bikes. We could pull over easily to explore and take in the views so overall I think it was much more enjoyable than driving would have been. It was insanely beautiful! The only issue was 2 of the bikes did not seem to have as much power assist as the other 3 but otherwise they were in good shape. Would definitely come back and rent from Dingle eBikes again!

I can't think of a better way for us to have taken in the Slea Head Drive than this amazing experience. The bikes were easy to use and the corresponding app with the tour guide information made things very straightforward. They let us know we had a window of 4 hours and that the trip on average is 3-3.5 hrs. We finished right at 3.5 hrs. It seems silly, but I was much more comfortable taking that route on a bike than I would have been driving on the narrow roads in a car! Loved every minute of this bike tour!

This self guided tour is an absolute "must do" if you are in Dingle! We have driven the Peninsula in the past and thought it was beautiful. However, driving doesn't compare to what you see while biking. The views were breathtaking! The cows and sheep seemed within reach and the fields unbelievably green. We did experience some traffic, but the cars were very courteous to riders. It was a 30 mile ride, but it seemed easy with the high quality electric bikes provided.

Biking around the Dingle peninsula was amazing; the bluest blues and greenest greens I've ever seen. Just beautiful. This bike tour was a highlight for our entire (adult) family!

This was unquestionably the highlight of our 8 days around Ireland. Truly the BEST way to see and experience the history, farmland, cliffs, Wild Atlantic Way, beehive huts, famine cottages, and SOOO much more - not to mention the incomparable views from the roadway between the ocean and mountains. DO THIS!!

What an amazing day! It was a great way to see the Dongle peninsula and I highly recommend WeWheel. Check in/out were smooth, no issues during the ride either and we made it it back with plenty of time and e-bike battery life remaining. I would recommend bringing a bottle of water and a back up cell phone battery changer since the tour app eats up your battery quickly. I also recommend bringing a camera to take pictures so you don’t have to keep removing your phone from the bike mount.

We signed up for this trip last minute and on a whim in May of 2023. It turned out to be one of the best (if not the best) experience of our 2 week trip to Ireland. The couple renting out the bikes were super helpful and very friendly - including: guiding us through the download of the app, teaching us about e-bikes and not charging us extra when we arrived back late. The tour starts right at the dingle peninsula (travelling in a clockwise fashion) and it is absolutely the way to see the scenery - much better than from a car or coach. It helped that we had fantastic weather and the full tourist season had not started. The audio in the helmets provided a running commentary on the sights, though sometimes we had difficulty hearing due to the wind in the background. I ended up re-playing the audio from the app when I got home and appreciated it even more. The bikes were great and well maintained. I certainly could not have covered those hills and distance without the e-bike motor. Biking allowed us to easily stop to take photos (unlike a car where parking is very limited and the traffic is single file). We stopped at a pottery store, beehive huts and cafe. We saw lots of sheep and spectacular scenery. I cannot recommend this enough. Fantastic!

A highlight of our trip to Ireland! Of course the Dingle Peninsula is awesome even by car, but the easy-to-use electric bikes were fun, and made it much easier to see the sights, breathe the air, and stop often. Although on the regular roadway, cars were very polite, and we were not more worried than had we been driving.

Beautiful bike ride along slea head drive. Bikes worked great and loved the ability to talk to my husband through the intercoms in helmet. Cars and buses were on road with us at times but left us enough room and respectful. The information on points of interest on app they provided was great. Would definitely recommend.

We were thrilled with our four hour electric bike ride of Dingle loop. Super fun, great views and sites. Need to move along to return bike in time. Only suggestion is a six hour rental frame allows for enough time to see and explore all worthwhile sites. Must hustle. Am 65 yr old noncyclist but no problem with the electric boost!

This was the absolute best part of our trip around Ireland! You will not regret it, book now! Incredible way to see the beautiful coastline. You do not need to be super experienced. The bikes are sturdy and reliable. My mom was very nervous about the traffic at first, but that quickly goes away and the ride is absolutely fantastic. I did it 20wks pregnant with no difficulty.
