I booked this tour for my husband and I after having lots of fun on another beer tour in Belgium. We ended up being the only people on the tour that day with our guide, Fran. Fran was knowledgeable about Edinburgh history and beer, introducing us to different styles that we normally wouldn’t drink in the US. Also, although we thought we knew lots about beer, we learned loads! Since it was the three of us, we were able to get to know Fran and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend the tour! i booked the beer tour for my dads 70th birthday. we went on Saturday 20th along with my brother. our guide sara was lovely, full of Information and facts about the history of beer and the town. she made sure everyone was involved. would definitely recommend the tour.

Wag was amazing and taught us a lot about the history of beer from Scotland. It was a fun day walking around the city exploring bars and meeting new people.

We did the beer tasting and old city walking tour with Wag. He was a wonderful and hugely informative guide as well as lots of fun. We loved sampling so many of the local beers and learning about the brewing process and the local history. It really was a unique experience. This tour was a delight and one we would recommend highly. When we come back to Edinburgh we shall book a food tour and hope to get Wag as our guide again.

This was a lovely tour, very entertaining and informative and unique, I highly recommend it. Not only you get to try different and new kinds of beer that you might have never heard of, you also get to know how they are made, and how is all of that connected to the history of Scotland.

Wag was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable about brewing, beers, history of the area, and history of area beers. He was lots of fun and personable and I learned a great deal! We would take this tour again in a heartbeat! Wag also gave us some other pubs to try with a wide range of beers to test which we followed up on and once again it was a smashing success.

Wag gave a great beer tasting tour of Edinburgh. He knows his hops and history. He took us through the history of beer making, dating back to the monks of Holyrood, and we had a range of tastings from the micro breweries in and around Edinburgh.

We loved our pub tour of Edinburgh with Iain. His knowledge not only of the pubs and beer selections but of the history of the city made for a great afternoon. We visited pubs we never would have found on our own and we felt like we had a true inside view of the city. The beer selections were varied and we came away with increased knowledge of local brews and the beer making process. We enjoyed meeting the other travelers on the tour and Iain was top notch! We highly recommend this tour while visiting Edinburgh.

I waited until about 3:15 for the guide who never came. I left and didn't do the tour. Later I found messages saying the guide would be late.

Sarah was an awesome guide and extremely proficient in anything that had to do with beer. We got to taste a lot of it, (even more then promised ;) ) and had the best time.

Monica was a lovely and knowledgeable tour guide. We enjoyed our two hours at the castle. She set us up nicely to continue on after her time was over.

Instead of the traditional tasting in which you pretend to notice the hints of apricot in your beer, Sarah takes a fun spin and has you compare the beer to a particular memory! She was extremely knowledgable and friendly! A must have tour for any beer lover!

Great experience learning about the different Scottish beers. Wag was very informative and welcoming to any questions. We left the experience with more knowledge about the different types of brews and how to use all of your senses to get the most out of any beer. The group was fun and it was a very enjoyable time.

The drinks were good and the locations picked were fun. Our guide ran long so it was a race to get to our next event.
