We have had such a fantastic day with our guide Violeta. She is extremely knowledgeable about Berlin, and the history that has shaped the city. She took us to some amazing eateries where we tried a huge range of foods and beers. By the end we had become friends and really enjoyed her company. Thanks so much for such a fantastic day!

Enjoyed new and exciting tastes of Berlin amd German food and also many samples from the many cultures living in the city. Will, our tour guide, was perfect and super knowledgeable on history and Berlin.

I can't explain what I expected, but what I got was ten times better. Will is a warm, friendly, well-informed guide who throughout the tour put our preferences first. Delicious food, great commentary on the history and hidden details of the buildings we encountered, and always ready to give answers to any questions we might have had. I have literally not a single word of criticism, this was everything you could ask for, and more!

This is an excellent way to chat to a local, find out what it’s like to live in Berlin, experience some unusual neighbourhoods and sample some food that you’d never find by yourself - off the beaten track! Tiago was an interesting, informative and warm guide.

We loved our food and history tour of Kreuzberg! Our guide, Will, was knowledgable and flexible, the best possible combination for a guide. There were only three of us on the excursion, which allowed time to see and hear about all the things we were interested in learning. As a fellow expat, who fell in love with Berlin, Will was able to show us his favorite spots and relate them to the many-layered history of the city, as well as giving examples from other places in the world. My husband and I loved our tour--it went by very fast, because we were having fun. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who loves culture, food, history, and the ways in which they intersect.

Great experience exploring off the beaten path with our guide Tiago. This was a fabulous mix of city tour, history, art, and more food than we could hope to finish :) Tiago was fantastically knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We had a couple of dietary restrictions in our party, and he navigated them with grace. Two teenagers, and he had them calling this one of their favorite activities in Berlin. We really enjoyed getting so see more of Kreuzberg and Neukolin through a local's eyes, and having our guide's tips and tricks for navigating streets, markets, and menus. I only regret that we were having so much fun, we forgot to take more pictures! 10 out of 10 would do it again.

Thus was an amazing evening tour. You need to come hungry and ready to stroll but it was fascinating, lots of tastes and the explanations around them were the best. Our tour guide Holger was very knowledgeable and a good host which made it a very notable experience. The information provided was also timely and detailed which made it easy. We booked a private tour far in advance of our summer trip and we’re impressed by Fork and Walk’s good reviews. We were not disappointed! We were paired with Betty who was just the nicest, most knowledgeable, most enthusiastic guide. She made the history and street art interesting and showed us some very cool neighborhoods. We all felt like old friends at the end of the tour. We had the best time with her and saw a very fun part of the city! And we ate well! HIGHLY recommend…and request Betty!

My mother and I recently had a truly magical evening in Berlin on the Kreuzberg dinner tour. Our guide, Holger, did an excellent job of making us feel like true Berliners, even if just for an evening. My husband is German and has spent time in Berlin, and so I am somewhat familiar with the city, but I really enjoyed learning more of the history of Kreuzberg, and the chance to try a variety of foods from very different ends of the culinary spectrum. Also, you can't beat drinking a cold beer from the späti on the summer solstice - Berlin can be such a magical in the summer, and I feel lucky we got to experience it in such a fun way.

This food tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Berlin. We met us with Holger, the tour guide, outside Industrie-platz hostel, the location was easy to find. There were about 9 of us including me - we were from the USA, Ireland, Singapore and India/England. It was a great group and we had easy and lively banter. Holger has great knowledge of Berlin. and local food, history and culture. He brought us doughnuts to kick off the tour. We walked by the East side gallery, then tried local shnitzel (really good) and local beer. (Berlin beer is awesome by the way) and some really strong herbal concoction that knocked my brains out. Then walked more. A Turkish sweet shop then some tasty Asian tapas then walked more to get specialty fries. We walked into Kreuzberg finally and tried some local Turkish cuisine. The tour took about 4-5 hours in all. (Which is just as well as you need to burn off all the calories walking about!) Holger is a warm, friendly, funny and lively host. He has great knowledge of Berlin. The group itself was fun and it was a lovely, memorable day. Thank you Holger for the lovely tour! And thank you to the people in my group for making it fun!

Fantastic tour, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the food was all incredible! Great last day in Berlin, learned so much about the history of Berlin and the Berlin wall and devide in the city and country. And all of the food just kept getting better and better!
