I don't wish to write a bad review....because we didn't actually go on the tour. It looks great, and I see there are many positive reviews, but our tour guide never showed up this morning ....no phone call or email to let us know. I was left to make the phone calls and figure it out (was told he was "stuck"). Very disappointing as we were up early and drove 30 minutes to arrive at requested time. I do appreciate the prompt refund.

Well organized and planned bike tour. Our guide was waiting when we arrived and shared the areas history as we rode in the van. The bike ride is not narrated which is different than other tours I’ve taken. I think having someone ride along with us or even a headset telling us what we were looking at would have made the ride even better. The ride is mostly downhill with a little pedaling required the last few miles. There is no shade so sunscreen is a must.

Beautiful ride with amazing geological features! We took a paved road for 20 miles along the San Andreas fault. A large portion was through a canyon and the views were incredible the whole ride. The ride was entirely flat or downhill but winds can make the tour a workout still! The guide was really knowledgeable about the geology and ecology of the ride. It was a great addition to our trip to Joshua Tree!

We had a great time on this bike ride! Beautiful scenery, fun riding, great morning to be out. Jeff was a fun guide - sense of humor and good information. We thought we might learn a little more about the topography and history, but it was enough to go on. He seemed a little distracted at times, particularly when one of us asked him a specific question that perhaps wasn't part of the 'script'. But we loved the ride and would definitely recommend it.

Ben was a very knowledgeable guide and kept things moving along at a nice relaxing, safe pace. Everyone agreed it was worth it.

Did the 20 mile downhill bicycle adventure this past Sunday - ended up being just my wife and I. It was a beautiful day and we had an excellent time. Our guide (Ron) was terrific - extremely knowledgeable in both the geology and history of what we were seeing. The scenery was spectacular and so different as the ride progressed. The first 17 miles were downhill and the last 3 were flat (agriculture). Highly recommend!

Second time out with Ben ! Very knowledgeable, kind and responsible. The cycling is easy, about half easy peddling and half coasting on a quiet wide paved road with interesting desert landscape. No white knuckles A unique experience!! Thank you Ben

The views were amazing. Our guide Lupe was sweet and fun and kept us informed of what to lookout for. We hadn’t rode a bike in years but it was an easy and fun ride. This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip in Palm Springs.

Our Earthquake Canyon Bicycle Tour was great. The scenery was amazing, the bikes were nice and our guide Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable. This was a nice easy ride that I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely outing and bike ride with Lupe. Lupe was new, however she knew so much about the mountain ranges, the San Andreas fault line, and foliage. The bike ride is a must if you want to get out and see the desert, mountains and enjoy a ride through canyons, lemon groves, pepper farms, etc.

We took this tour one day while in Palm Springs. Our guides Ben and Joe were excellent at sharing the history and geology of canyon and Coachella valley. The ride was easy and the bikes were in good shape. They also provided water and snacks. Overall I would highly recommend it for an outdoor activity that you normally wouldn’t think of in Palm Springs!

The staff is amazing, views were breathtaking. A must do experience in the Palm springs area. (And the bike ride is basically all downhill)

It was a great leisurely bike ride through the canyon and fields. Our guide was great in protecting us from cars and allowing us to stop and take breaks.

Captain Ron was an awesome tour guide for us today. He was so knowledgeable about the area and was very helpful and informative to answer all our questions. We had a wonderful time and look forward coming back to this area again.

Well organized. Courteous, knowledgeable, professional guide. Ron gave us lots of insight into the area we cycled and surrounding fault lines, etc… Cycling was easy and we felt safe with Ron looking out for us. Stunning landscape. From canyons to farms.

Highly recommend this tour! 6 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday were treated to the Earthquake Canyon Adventure with our guide Ben. It is an easy coast on a downhill grade, so as long as you can ride a bike you can do this tour. Ben was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area as well as having a great sense of humor. The ride takes you through the beautiful Painted Canyon area, with very little road traffic. It is extraordinarily scenic and well worth the visit. Highly recommend this to new as well as frequent visitors to the Coachella Valley.

Thank you Thank you Thank you to Ben and Mitch for taking us on this awesome bike tour. Ben was full of interesting info on just about everything and gave us alot of insight into what we were seeing. Mitch rode with us and gave us perspective as we were riding, showing us flora and fauna native to the area. It was a great ride and we felt taken care of throughout! This was our seond tour with Big Wheel tours and we reccommend them highly!
