Beautiful way to spend a morning outside while learning ancient Roman history. Filippo was a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

This half-day tour was a highlight of our time in Rome. Valerio was a great guide- he shared loads of interesting information with us in addition to being a lot of fun (as well as very patient with guests who were, let’s say, not so great on the e-bike, speaking about a friend, for sure). The bikes were very safe annd easy to ride, although we had to navigate through traffic before reaching the trail and some spots on the trail itself were a bit more difficult. Not treacherous by any means. The scenery was gorgeous and the history was mind-bending. Just a really great way to spend the day.

Best bike tour ever, absolutely can’t be beat! If you go to Rome, set aside time to take this tour; you won’t regret it. Our guide, Daniela, was so wonderful, and we learned a lot of interesting Roman history from her. She will capture you from the start! Get ready for four hours of fun!

Our guide Ilenia was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of the things we visited along the Appian way. Just enough good stops for photos and one for refreshment. Felt safe in traffic and most was traffic free. Would highly recommend, a beautiful ride into some green spaces so close to the centre of Rome.

Our tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable. The ride was just a tad too long. We did the 4 hour trip. Our butts got a workout with the little seats. They might invest in the large padded ones. Other than that the tour was great! Safe. Very interesting.

From beginning to end, the tour was a fascinating view of pieces of Rome's accomplished history: the Appia Antica, aqueducts, catacombs, tombs and the beautifully protected historical green spaces/farms/vineyards etc. Our guide, Ricardo, was prepared, informative, attentive and obviously loves sharing his historical knowledge with participants. We highly recommend this tour. Just be aware that there are some mild/intermediate physical challenges along the way.

I enjoyed the Apppian way and seeing the natural open spaces. The aquaducts were beautiful to see while traveling by e bike.

Biked with our 2 kids (6 and 8). We loved it! The start is a little nerve racking as you are on some busy streets, but the guide was encouraging our kids. The views once on the proper Appian way are amazing. Scenic, educational, and fun’

Not for the faint of heart! You have to deal with Rome traffic and quite frankly, scary travel conditions. The apian way is spectacular but with many un predictable hazards. And BUMP!. Guide was knowledgeable and amusing but a bit more aggressive in his speed than I was comfortable with because of the terrain

Filipe was the “Best”. Great Time and Great Ride! E-bikes are the way to Go Especially if you are over 70.

The very best trip we experienced during our weeklong trip to Italy. Our guy had a lot of great information for us and the trip visited some of the most beautiful countryside around Rome. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate for us, our guide was ready to press on as well as the group. We did have a few incidents where younger less experienced writers fell. Also, my bike lost battery power towards the end, and she lent me her more upgraded bike to use. Again, one of our favorite trips on this weeklong visit to Rome.

An excellent way to see a different part of Rome in just under half a day. Ebikes easy to use and made light work of any hills. Our guide, Flávio, brought the history of what we were seeing to life - super character, very engaging. Highly recommended.

Flavio was a fabulous guide. Excellent command of history AND traffic! I am 65 yrs. and bike all the time. This was my first time with an e bike. Note to others wanting to insist on using only your own energy to bike - take the e-bike option! Ride on your pride the first hour -if you need to, then turn on the power to help you over the cobblestones and save yourself! Riding through city traffic was a little nerve racking but Flavio was very attentive and encouraging. Great tour!

STARBIKE Ilenia was a lovely guide and gave us a really good tour around the outskirts of Rome, including along the original Appian Way, and to see the amazing aqueducts. We were the only ones on the morning tour so we had her all to ourselves. She was very good at guiding us through the streets of Rome and also teaching us about the many places of historical interest. We had a good coffee stop half way round. Really recommend.

The E-Bike tour was a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Rome history and the ride was beautiful. The aqueducts were amazing to see as were the Roman ruins. Overall a great experience.
