Had a great experience. But, the trails were very steep and rough. Experience in mountain biking is definitely a requirement. I had biking experience on easy trails. Now, the e-bikes were definitely an asset. On a lot of uphill climbs I had gear selected in the lowest and assist on maximum. I was definitely huffing and puffing when I got to the top. I am a reasonably fit 68 year old male. My iPhone kept track of our progress. 29.5 km. And an elevation gain of 495 meters. Some parts of the downhill stretch, I had to walk the bike. Too steep and full of loose rocks. Overall the scenery was fantastic with numerous views off the valleys. The guide was awesome with good info

Fantastic tour!! Colin is a great guide, very flexible for the interests of the group (we did a detour to some Roman ruins) and knowledgeable about the area and its history. Some comfort with riding bikes is probably advisable (although not technical MTB riding). Very hilly in places but fine on e-bikes. A real highlight of our trip!

I loved the experience and Vincent was so delightful and kind but this tour is not for people who aren’t experienced mountain bikers. He was a great guide and had lots of little facts about St. Victoire. I did not realize going into the tour that it required so much knowledge of mountain bikes (it is 3 hours of switching gears, going through narrow paths, and riding over little bridges/water). We did not end up finishing the full tour, thankfully it was just us on the tour that day. The mountain is a little rocky and challenging and I was hesitant so we made the executive decision to turn back, we turned around after we went up about 1/3 of the way. It was beautiful nonetheless and if you can do it, I would highly recommend. If you’re used to bicycling on flat roads, beach cruisers and spin — this tour is not for you.

Another epic ride with Colin, a great guide. The e-bikes were so comfortable. The trail through the national park had spectacular vistas and scenery. Some steep hills to climb but the e-bikes were a huge help.

The bike trip is a must do . Colin was a great guide and made sure everyone knew how to handle the bikes in a safe way . Would recommend this trip for anyone planning to visit Aix . We walked to the pickup site the day before just to make sure we knew how to get there and how long it would take to get there from our lodging . I would recommend all to do so especially if you are going by car in that finding parking spot my be difficult . I would check with Colin beforehand if you plan to drive to the pickup location .

Excellent trip. Ezra was a superb host. The national park is simply stunning. Bikes were comfortable & in top condition. Highly recommended.

Brilliant way to see the park. I haven't been on a bike in 20 years and found the tour accessible and fun. Absolutely loved it.

This was the highlight of our two days in Aix! Collin was a great guide - knowledgeable, good pace, fun to spend a few hours with. Our group was just 4 so even better in getting fun mountain biking in and great views with a bit of history. Can’t say enough about our experience!

Colin was a great guide on this wonderful E bike tour of the nearby mountain. The trek was manageable even in the 35C heat of August. The views were spectacular from the top and worth the physical exertion to get there. I Would recommend this tour to any one in Aix en Provence!.

Colin was friendly, experienced and patient (especially when we had to retrace back to find my husband’s phone!), he lead to our pace stopping to point out interesting sights, the route was safe and riding the e-bikes up Saint Victoire was fun and challenging. Great way to spend the afternoon!

What a wonderful experience to mountain E bike through the mountains of Provence. Equipment was great. Pick up and drop off location was easy. Scenery magnificent. Owner/tour guide was fantastic.

This e-bike tour with Colin was a highlight of our trip to Aix. We rode past huge cliffs, a lake, olive trees, and lavender fields. Fresh air, incredible views, a workout (to the effort of your choosing), and interesting conversation. The bikes were really nice quality, and we got the hang of switching gears and power levels. I wouldn’t recommend total novice bike riders or timid people, but we as infrequent city riders had a great time. Plus, Colin is South African, a bonus for English-speaking travelers who appreciate the break from their own horrendous attempts at speaking French. 😅

Colin was an incredible and knowledgable guide. He was able to satisfy the needs of everyone in our group! There were simple trails and more complex trails. He was patient and helpful. I would recommend this excursion to beginners and seasoned riders alike. Merci!

Colin was amazing. It was my first time using an E bike and Colin clearly explained how to ride. He had water bottles ready for the group and rode at a pace that was accommodating to all. This activity is a must do if you want to see the most beautiful parts of Aix au Provence. .
