Amazing sceneries and a great 3 hour tour around beautiful villages! With the e-bike it was an easy tour. Luigi is a great guide and tells interesting stories along the way.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip! Luigi and Emily were so very nice - helping us to get acclimated with the bikes before we set off on our beautiful adventure. We loved being able to get away from the touristy areas and going up until the hills seeing amazing views of Lake Lugano, Lake Como and Lake Piano. The charming villages, history and architecture along the way made it truly special. Highly recommend this tour!!

Luigi and Emily were true professionals and guided us perfectly. We loved all of the interesting small villages, mountains and flats. We had the perfect balance of riding and stops to take pictures and a quick break. Thank you Luigi & Emily, we had a blast.

Our hosts were amazing. The bikes were top notch, route well planned & organized. Luigi, our guide was knowledgeable & on top of everything. The scenery we experienced was beautiful. I felt like bursting into song - “the hills are alive…” We were only 4. One of my group backed out because she didn’t feel her skill level was up to par. Courteous, considerate action. The two who were not in my group should have done the same. If you cannot ride a bike, don’t know how to change gears, or even how to do something as simple as mount/dismount your bike - stay home! This is a mountain biking tour. Key words “mountain” & “biking”. For everyone’s safety & just common courtesy, be honest with yourself. If you have a tinge of uncertainty, listen to it.

Our group of 6 riders had a spectacular e-bike tour of the Italian Lakes Region with Luigi. The e-bikes were excellent and Luigi guided us masterfully through the villages and countryside. We really enjoyed the experience!

I've seen so many positive reviews about Luigi and the ride that are spot on I thought I'd talk a little more about the bikes. (For reference, I'm retired, decent condition and regular, not avid rider). These ebikes are top quality trekking style made in Europe, mid drive motors, excellent disc breaks. For those who may be somewhat familiar with ebikes those most often found in US and made in China are "hub" drive meaning the motor is in the rear wheel. Upside of hub drive is most will have a throttle only mode that requires no peddling. However they do not climb nearly as well as a middrive bike like Luigi's. My point is you will need to peddle but these bikes have plenty of power (4levels) matched with 6 speeds that make climbing the steepest hills a breeze if using the correct power/gear combination. I would also say Luigi has the derailur set up perfectly. My bike never missed a shift or double shited as I have experienced on other rental bikes. In short, highly recommend for even the occasional rider! Great scenery, great guide.

The best experience of our time in lake Como. Great guide in Luigi and the scenery just stunning. Not “fit” yet the e-bike we used allowed us to alter from easy to a bit harder as we pleased. Would highly recommend this tour for those that want to see a bit of both old world and new. Fantastic

Awesome ride over beautiful countryside! Luigi was a great guide and the ebikes were powerful enough to get you up the steep terrain even if you aren’t a regular cycling enthusiast. If you enjoy bicycling through beautiful countryside and quaint villages, you will love this tour.

This was just a fabulous way to experience the countryside in this area. The tour was very well organized. The bikes were excellent. Although some of the areas we biked were steep, none of it was too challenging for someone with some familiarity with biking who is in reasonable shape. The views were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!!

We loved getting a personal tour of the area with our guide. We saw areas we would not have if we were just on our own.

Unforgettable part of our trip to lake Como!! We really enjoyed the bike ride through authentic villages and gorgeous lake views. Breathtaking views! The electric bike were very easy to ride for the duration of the tour. We rode through less traveled paths as well as beautiful lakes in the area. Highly recommend. Luigi was very kind and welcoming.

The bikes are very good and the route is awesome. We struggled a bit with the diversity of the group - some people wanted to go fast and got in front of the guide, others needed to go a bit slower. The guide had to go back and find lost riders twice. Ultimately he got the group managed and organized but it took half the ride to do so. I would have appreciated a bit of that from the start. Overall a very good experience!

I had a fantastic time on this bike tour! Luigi was an excellent guide and pointed out many interesting spots on our trip. There was a good mix of mountain and lake views with rides through small local villages, and the history was interesting to learn. Takes you through a lot of areas with locals which is nice to see. We had a small group which was nice to get to know my fellow tour members, and avoid losing any people. The walkie talkies were an excellent idea and I felt fully aware during the tour about any upcoming cars, turns, and viewpoints. The E-bikes were a godsend for all the uphill parts, made it so much more enjoyable. With 5 electric assist levels, you can change the difficulty within a second, which helped when I wanted to challenge myself on some parts. My only feedback was that there could be more stopping points at some of the scenic overviews, I was trying to take a photo at some spots while riding, which was a bit tough. Definitely one of my favorite experiences of my trip!

We had a fantastic tour guided by Luigi. The trip was simply amazing and certainly one of the highlights of our vacation to Lake Como. Emily was terrific as well, with all the arrangements leading up to the tour. She sent us boat and bus timetables and organized a pickup from Menaggio. It was all so easy. I had never biked on an e-bike, but Luigi explained everything in detail, and made sure we were comfortable before starting out. The bikes were practically new and so comfortable. We felt very safe for the entire ride. We rode mostly on bike trails or on roads without many cars. We each had walkie talkies, which was great. We could all hear his explanations and stories about the area and its history. And if there were any oncoming cars or streets to cross, he would let us know. The views were spectacular, and we saw lakes, farmland, and villages that that we never would have seen without this tour. What more could we ask for? Gorgeous scenery, a delightful guide and good exercise. I only wish we had more time for another bike tour with Luigi. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Do not miss it if you are in the Lake Como area.
