Great day - it was even better than expected because it was effectively a private trip with only the two of us. Andy and Keena were awesome guides with loads of knowledge and tales to tell.

Had an awesome day with Haymo and Lillian on the river! They were very patient with our boys at the rapids and taught them some great river safety tips. Highly recommend this at its customized to whatever you want to do for the day.

Great service and a really fun ride down the rapids. Very family friendly with a 7, 10 and 12 year old who all had a blast. And the food included at Grassfeed was excellent!!

Just wanted to drop a line for the team at Mountain Water Rafting (Durango Rafting) and Adventure. We took a trip with Taylor (BAMA) and had a tremendous time. The water was perfect the day we went and everyone in our group had a great time. Bama was informative and a ton of fun to be around. He made the trip enjoyable for our whole family (young and old). Axel, Hannah, Blane, and Trevor were absolutely amazing! My friends and I had the best experience. Axel was our guide and did a phenomenal job at managing our boat and giving knowledge along with jokes. We literally couldn’t have had a better guide. The highlight of our trip! Anna was our guide! She is a pro! Sense of humor and she made this the greatest experience for everyone on the raft! Our first time on a raft trip and I would definitely recommend it especially if Anna is your guide!

What a fun and memorable afternoon!! This was a first for everyone in our family, ranging from my husband and I down to our three kids, ages 10, 7, and 4. We could not have had a better time, and that was in large part to our guide Axel. He made it so fun, kept us entertained and laughing, and even shared some interesting facts about local landmarks and history. We also want to give a shoutout to Lillian, who was in the safety raft and kept us out of trouble! The river was low (we were told) and while there were plenty of calm areas, there was also lots of excitement. We would absolutely do it again!

We had a great day in early June with Mountain Waters rafting! It was a chilly day, but they had wet suits for rent that helped. Our family of 5 had a great time with Dory, she was a joy to float with and she nailed "surfing" the raft at the white water park! Wish her well for the summer and for all the care she provides to her fellow guides!

Our family of 4 (2 teens) had a great time rafting the Animas with Axel! Highly recommend MountIn Waters Rafting. A must do if your in Durango area.

We had a great day with Mountain Waters rafting! The Adventure Day was well worth it! Our family all rafted together, then had delicious BBQ, then my son and husband tried out the duckie inflatable kayaks, while my daughter and I rode in a raft and took photos. Hannah and Emilie were awesome and so was our driver Trevor. I can't recommend this activity enough!

Absolutely the highlight of our vacation. Dory and Hannah were fantastic! Cannot wait to come back and do this again.

We had a fantastic time introducing our kids to white water rafting with Ben as our guide and Hannah on the safety boat. I felt safe with their guidance and my kids (7 and 9) loved the entire adventure.

Great Rafting trip! We had a group of 5 and had a blast. Ashley was our guide and was so nice and personable. We had another couple with us in the raft and by the time the rafting was over, everyone was a friend. The water was flowing at 1600 cfs on our day with Class II and Class III rapids and was so much fun! I would HIGHLY recommend Mountain Waters for your anyone rafting trip. You will have a blast!!!

We had an awesome experience. Water was little cold and the weather was just perfect. David was amazing. Jackets can be rented if needed.

We were so impressed with our guide Karen and the safety standards that the Guide Leader, Eric, explained to us before hitting the river. We were provided wet suits and helmets which many of the other local rafting companies don’t provide. All the guides were extremely friendly and actively exchanged with the clients. Karen explained about the local area, fauna and floral as we drifted down the river for two hours. Highly recommend this rafting company

Erick was such a good guide and really gave me and my friends the best experience! Especially the surfing part in the river rafting !! 10/10 Recommend Erick as a guide !!!

All 9 of us had a blast on the Animas with our talented guides keeping us safe, all while guiding through the fun rapids. The teenagers wanted to book another ride before we left their site.

Our family really enjoyed the all-day adventure day. It was perfect for 3 teens. We had Morgan and Ryan as guides - both were amazing. They knew what they were doing and really made the day fun. They were very flexible in allowing us to pick our adventures. Morgan was always bringing up suggestions of fun ideas of things to try- we choose the inflatable kayaks for more challenging/fun time on the river! We were also very impressed with the Serious Texas Barbecue lunch. At the end of the day, we were excited to see the email with pictures from our day. We thought the pics were great and reasonably priced to remember our wonderful trip. Would definitely recommend!

What a great experience! I was a little hesitant but soon relaxed and enjoyed the rapids under the expert hands of our guide, “Bama.” Four of us senior adults bounced along and enjoyed the scenery and the occasional splashing from the rapids. A time to be filed in our memory banks to share with our kids and grandkids! Not to be missed! A special thanks to our guide!!
