Amazing guides who made the experience extremely fun and worthwhile. Everyone was helpful and provided great information as we went down the river.

We had a great time with our friends! Grace was our guide and made the trip more enjoyable. We would like to come back earlier in the season when the Animas River is higher.

We had a fabulous time- Sean was a fantastic guide and the trip was super fun- weather was perfect!! I love that he gave us a little history lesson about Durango and could give us some great local recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat!

The guides made our trip very enjoyable. Even though the river wasn't running very high (and thus the rapids weren't that intense) due to it being the end of the summer season, our guide made the ride fun by telling us about fun things to do in the area, about the history of Durango, and good "dad" jokes. We would highly recommend choosing Colorado Outback Adventures for rafting in this area.

Great safety instruction, helpful staff and fabulous river Guide. Sean. The river is low in late August but Sean got the most out of the river. Was a great experience on the Animas. A different experience I am sure than what it would be in May. But a lovely afternoon on the Animas.

I wasn't impressed with the guides. Weren't very customer friendly...just doing a job. On a side note, the water volumes were very low, so we were constantly getting hung up on rocks. Next time I will investigate water flow before booking a trip.

This is my second time using Colorado Outback Adventures! The guides are knowledgeable & fun to ride on their raft! The Animas is beautiful, I love the river! Thanks!

Awesome time in the Animas River! Ian our guide was great! This is great for families, pretty mild river in August but had a few rapids at the end.

Last-minute decision to go rafting, and the Colorado outback adventure. We’re very accommodating and wonderful. The rafting was great fun with safety yet some exhilarating class three water. Everyone was extremely polite and Billy was a great guy down the river.

Great guides in an amazing location. They took good care of us and were friendly and interactive. Clean gear in good shape. I’d definitely recommend!
