Great stories about the homes and history of DuPont Circle and Embassy Row. Loved hearing about Alice Roosevelt!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a nice combination of history and architecture. It was a probably 2 hours and 20 minutes, so allow for a flexible end time.

My dad and I had a fantastic time on this walking tour of Embassy row! Our tour guide Ellory was super knowledgeable and charismatic! The tour was a good balance between architectural facts and history about the mansions on Massachusetts Ave prior to their current statuses as embassies! Highly recommend!

Sam our tour guide was fantastic! The history and stories were so engaging and entertaining. He had us all enjoying and appreciating the architecture too. We decided to do this last minute and Carolyn was so responsive and helpful in setting this up and helped us pick the perfect time for the tour that met our schedule. Highly recommend for those interested in history and enjoy walking around some beautiful neighborhoods of DC.

This was a fun tour. We were able to book the day before, and joined a thursday 10AM tour with Natalie who was fantastic. Was a really nice two-hour walk and history tour. We went back after the tour to visit some of the museums we passed.

The DuPont Circle and Embassy Row Architectural Tour with Carolyn was absolutely fabulous!! The ideal blend of history, architectural details, and fantastic tidbits. Carolyn's well-researched knowledge of the history and current status of the buildings brought the area to life. A perfect tour for long-time locals and out-of-towners! I'll be signing up for more.

The tour was awesome! Our tour guide was Natalie. She was friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and intelligent. The tour started on time and progressed in an orderly fashion. Natalie took questions throughout the tour and cheerfully provided answers. Her many anecdotes about historical figures and the architecture painted a rich picture of the neighborhood. Highly recommended!!!!

Natalie was a wonderful tour guide! We got just the right amount of information about different architecture styles and who lived at various houses. I also appreciated her supplemental pictures of people so I could visualize how they lived. Too bad it was so hot and humid! She had nothing to do with that - I would go again to n cooler weather.

Ask for Carolyn! Amazing tour guide. A two-hour tour packed with incredible details of each building mixed in with fun facts and folklore. I appreciated that Carolyn used her iPad to show us additional visual aids. Really thoughtful and brought the stories to life. We never felt tired from walking. The stops were perfectly timed and Carolyn made a point to find shade. I liked that an email was sent afterward reviewing what we saw with links to get more information. We already have a few new items to explore on our next DC trip, thanks to Carolyn. In this culture of seemingly excessive tipping, it may seem uncouth to ask for tips; however, I hope there's a way for this tour company to gently remind people (maybe the email confirmation?) to consider tipping these hardworking tour guides. Only some people in our big tour group knew to tip. During all my visits to this area of DC, I never knew there was much more to learn. For my friend, who had never visited, she went home with so much more to look up and explore. Thank you, Carolyn!
