The experience was great. The blue hole was the best, I could have just stayed there all day. Dunn’s falls was nice too though. The driver was exceptionally professional and provided great service. The tour guide for blue hole was an amazing person as well. Highly recommended.

This was SUCH a fun day trip! Mark was a fantastic driver, he drove safely and was informative when asked but otherwise allowed you to enjoy the sights on the road. I'm SO glad we did this one with the Blue Hole as that exceeded expectations and was out favorite of the 2 stops. You get to jump and rope swing from multiple spots. And Dunn's was fun too, be sure to carefully climb up through the falls. If you book this trip, BRING WATER SHOES! Or buy them once you arrive. You really do need them.

What an incredible experience to go off resort property and explore a little of Jamaica. Our driver Dwain made our day trip to Ochos Rios unforgettable. Blue hole was our favorite, followed by Scotchies for lunch. We really enjoyed having a private vehicle/driver and guides at Blue Hole. Definitely a trip I’d highly recommend and ask for Dwain, he’s the very best!

Best guide you can get in Jamaica! We had a blast exploring with Shane. He was so nice and accomodating. We'll definitely be back!

Our driver, Dwayne, was kind, friendly, and accommodating. First we went to the Blue Hole, which was about 1.5 hours away from our resort. Once there, we had a guide, Jaheil (I think that’s how his name is spelled) to take us around the Blue hole. He was great and super friendly. Then we drove about 20 minutes to Dunn’s water falls. We did not have a guide there and the entry to the falls was not included (as stated in the information about this tour) so we paid $75 (for three people) to get in. Once we were there it was easy to navigate and my 15 year old son loved it! Leaving the Falls, you had to go through an area with vendors who constantly asked you to buy something. There was also a little food stand. Over all, we had a nice time.

It was a fun day! I enjoyed both of the Blue Hole and Dunn’s River. The water was clear and felt so refreshing. The life guards on duty were reliable and I felt safe during the adventure.

The excursion was fantastic!!! Shane our driver/tour guide was absolutely phenomenal!! On time, polite, funny and super knowledgable about all the surrounding areas as we drove to and from the sites. The Blue Hole part of the excursion was great!! Jaheim our guide there was spectacular!!! Dunn's River Falls was also an excellent adventure scaling the falls from the ocean up to the final end point atop the falls. Over all an excellent adventure and Shane made it a fantastic day!! We will definitely be booking another excursion when we come back and absolutelty be requesting Shane!!!

Our driver Mark was excellent! Very clean, nice and comfortable car and ride. Gorgeous waterfalls, definitely must see when in Jamaica!

Great fun at the Blue Hole and Dunns River Falls! Shane at Wains Adventure Tours provided a comfortable and safe ride in a private vehicle. It’s a fairly long ride from Montego Bay but worth it! Blue Hole was enjoyed by all and we were safe in the hands of our excellent guides Wilon and Jaheim. We did the Dunns River Fall climb ourselves without a guide. It’s slippery but there are enough people to watch ahead of you to know which route to go up. Overall enjoyed by teens and adults alike…should not be missed when visiting Jamaica!

Blue hole much better than Dunns River for those who have any adventurous spirit. If you afraid to jump into a pool of beautiful water than you will maybe like the falls more. Aka you a couch potatoe.

Wains Adventure Tours is who handled this tour for Viator. Our Driver Mark was very nice and informative. Went to Blue Hole first. It was awesome. Them back to Dunns River to climb the water fall it was Awesome also. Great day and we felt Safe the entire time. No issues!!

Shane picked us up from our resort on time. He is an excellent safe driver and very easy to talk to. He was very courteous and allowed us to stop at one of the local stores to pick up food on our way back from Blue Hole! He answered all of our questions about Jamaica and we had many. Blue Hole was a great experience. My daughter loved jumping off the cliff! Would definitely go back again in the future. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Such a great experience! Dwayne, our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable. Davin, our tour guide at Blue Hole, was THE BEST! Hysterical and really showed us everything. Can’t say enough good things about the excursion. One thing — the tour is a full day, more like 6-7 hours, including the drive there and back.

Enjoyed the trip! It was a nice long trip to both places. Bluehole was nice but Dunns falls was adventurous and exciting!

10/10 experience all the way around- had such a fun time climbing, jumping and swimming around Dunn Falls and Blue Hole. All of the guides were excellent and transportation was a breeze. Definitely the highlight of our trip :)

My finance and I were scheduled to be picked up at a designated spot near the cruise port at 9:00am. Our guide was late and we were messaged telling us this and we had planned this trip to be back by 2:00pm so that was ok if the max time our excursion would be was 5 hours. So we didn't get picked up till about 10am. We thought we will still be back in time cause 5 hours from then is 3:00pm. So we started going towards Blue Hole because we didn't know how long it would take to get there. We are not local to the area, we don't know the area. We spent a long time driving there only to rush to buy one pair of water shoes. The driver told us to be back in 1 hour which we didn't know when that is because we left most of our stuff in the car and our Fitbit watches stopped working while in the water. But he also told the other guide who was going to lead us the rest of the way what time we had to be back by. We were then passed on to that other guide and then only have 10 minutes of bathroom time and then be rushed because we spent too long in the bathroom (which I timed was less than 10 min but it was also because there was also other ppl waiting to use the bathroom). After that we were rushed through the park to finally get to the rope jump area and spent only about 15 minutes there until we had to rush back again. My fiance stopped to buy one thing and then was told we took too long. And then part of the way back to the car our guide left us and just told us to wait there. We waited and since we were waiting we decided to get a coconut and sugar cane. We had thaaat much time to wait for our guide but not to look at the local vendors on the way back. And then the guide came back and told us "his cousin lost his way and he had to help show him how to get back." So we got back to the car and the driver/other guide in the car asked why we took so long (at this point he admitted we were only half an hour late getting back to the car). We started driving back and as it came close to 3:00 we started asking the driver how much longer it would take to get back to the port. We HAD to be back on board the ship by 4:30. Originally we had planned to be back by 2pm but then we were told we would be back by 3:00. Even if we were half an hour late that should have put us back at 3:30 even with the driver being late. But at this point (it was about 3:00 already) the driver said there's a lot of traffic and we're about an hour away which was a complete lie. So the driver started asking us how much money we had on us. He didn't tell us why at first. We thought he wanted a bigger tip to drive faster and so we said we only had $20 on us. And then he kept asking us how much money we had in the bank, and how much money we could take out. I mean he didn't tell us what it was for until later when. He admitted that the only way he was going to be able to get us back in time was by paying for a "police escort" which he said would cost at least $40 more. And then by the time we found that out we admitted we had $40 because it was getting pretty late. We even called our cruise ship to tell them we would be late. We called at 3:30 and the driver said we were about an hour away. And then about 4:15 came around and he said he couldn't find a police escort anymore and told us to call the ship again and ask how long they would wait. The ship agent asked how long till we get to the port and his answer was the same, "we're about 1 hour away in Runaway Bay." The ship agent said they could wait for 15 minutes max. So at this point the guy started pressing us more about how much money we could take out and then he started suggesting we look for a flight to our next port. We couldn't find one from Sangster Airport (Montego Bay) but found one at Kingston Airport. So about 4:50 came around and we called the ship back and asked if they were still at the port and they said no(I could hear the sound of the ship getting ready to leave in the background) but they still asked how far away we were and the driver(our tour guide) still said "we're about 1 hour away at Runaway Bay." The ship agent stated she left our passports with the port agent in Jamaica and gave us the number for him. And so we called the port agent and the port agent started talking to the driver and apparently the driver decided to take matters into his own hands. My fiance and I couldn't understand what they were saying on the phone but apparently we found out later the driver gave the port agent his phone number and said he could call him for matters concerning us because my phone had bad reception So somewhere along the way (according to the driver) our passports had been given to immigration and we were suppose to meet an unknown guy(who was supposedly the immigration officer) to get our passports. And then the driver says he has a friend who can take us to Kingston airport(which is where we were able to buy tickets to get to our next port our ship was suppose to stop at) but it would cost about $300. At this point we didn't trust the guy we were in the car with and were super worried we were going to be the next missing Americans from Jamaica. The driver also still kept asking how much money we had in the bank and insisted we stay at the hotel he suggested. The driver took us to Montego Bay airport to meet with the immigration officer but insisted we go back to his car to get a ride with his friend to Kingston airport. We waited around for the immigration officer and just hoped that this was a legitimate guy because he had our passports(and we didn't think the cruise ppl would give our passports to just anybody) with him and we told him our situation and then just ditched the other driver(told him our cruise got us transportation) because he just seemed so shady! We spent an extra $1,859.50 on plane tickets to get to our next port,(that was the cheapest flight at the time for us to be able to get to Roatan in time), $380 for taxi ride from Sangster Airport to hotel, hotel to Kingston airport ($49.12) because our flight wasn't until next day we had to stay in Jamaica for a night($146.24) and then Atlanta for another night($92.76 + $62.38 for rental car to get to and from hotel) cause our ship wasn't going to dock at Roatan Honduras until 2 days later, and then taxi cab from roatan airport to immigration office and then to ship port($60). A total of $2,650 more than what it should have cost because we booked this excursion. And we didn't even get to do the whole excursion! We didn't even get to Dunns River Falls which was included in the price! And the place we went to wasn't the actual Blue Hole! It was Nature Blue Hole Eco Attraction. Blue Hole is somewhere else! When I kept googling why we weren't actually going to the actual Blue Hole I was confused and thought he was just taking a short cut to cut through traffic but now that I look at where my pictures were taken, it was somewhere completely different! we definitely didn't do the optional lunch. We were yelled at for even wanting to use the restroom cause it took too much time! So $2,650 of extra fees plus the $290 for an excursion we barely even go to do half of! And the extra money it cost us for food and extra clothes because all our stuff was in the cruise ship, and the extra phone bill for all the calls! We showed up in Atlanta airport in just swim gear from our excursion and beach towels! This is in December! We absolutely needed a car to get warmer clothes too. This ended up causing us so much stress because we were running out of money and 2 days of our vacation time wasted! We should have never trusted this company! And to make matters worse, the driver/tour guide told us that he was a 3rd party agent that Viator contracted with Wayne Tours. The driver did not tell us this until he dropped us off at Montego airport which makes him even more shady because he didn't even know who Viator was! But he had all the information that Viator had and we were texting someone who had all the information we gave Viator.

We were outside our comfort zones but the lifeguards took excellent care of us. Need to let customers know the travel time to the falls through. I had no idea it was so far from hotel.

Our driver Shane was absolutely fantastic and answered our 100 questions about Jamaica during the drive. Blue Hole was excellent, it felt like a true adventure complete with (to me) high jumps into the water below. We had a great tour guide who showed us the safest path to climb the waterfalls. Dunn’s River was a little more touristy but still beautiful. We hit major traffic on the way back to the resort, but our driver was great and got us back safely.

Shane, our driver, was very friendly, easy to talk to and helpful with tips on what to do and not do. He was very professional with how he carried himself and just overall a great driver. He took us to the Blue Hole then to Dunn's River and Falls, and on the way he explained what to expect at each venue. Afterwards, we stopped for lunch at Scotchies in Ocho Rios (Drax Hall) - we got the best jerked chicken and pork around! We then headed back to the hotel. Note that we started out from our hotel in Montego Bay about 10am and returned near 6pm, so it was a full and very enjoyable day. The drive just one way from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios is about an hour and a half. Add to that the time needed to experience both venues properly, and that's the full day. As the Wains Adventures site indicates, the cost for this booking includes the entry fee for the Blue Hole (a simply wonderful nature venue - ask for Moody, to guide you). Note you need to purchase tickets to Dunn's River and Falls. Remember to take some money to tip guides, and for lunch, if you want. This booking was worth the cost!
