We had such a great time with Maria. She was very knowledgeable and made our evening and tour spooky and fun. She's also a very warm, honest person. We saw beautiful locations, even in the dark and the lantern was a nice touch. I strongly recommend doing this tour! We did it the last night of our stay which made it special but it might be a good one to do at the beginning of your stay so you can revisit all the gorgeous spots during the day. Thank you again!

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to book this tour during the January off-season, but I went ahead and booked through their website and indeed, an apparition from beyond holding a lantern approached me at the meeting point; it's worth noting that I was the only person to book a tour, and yet Marija (the guide) still decided to do it. Amazing! How lucky I was to have an individual tour. It truly added to the intimate atmosphere and Marija clearly loves what she does and loves her city. Despite the dark subject matter, Marija is a warm and genuine person that made me feel very comfortable. Her storytelling was excellent! There were a few stops along the descent towards the Pile Gate. It was well mapped out and a logical progression. And I can't explain it, but something quite unexpected and eerie happened during the tour. Who knows, maybe one of the spirits was lurking nearby...

Highly recommended walking tour to do when in dubrovnik! Maria was amazing guide, very knowledgeable and some great ghostly tails an sites visited.

Marie was great she had a personal touch and passion for the area. It took close to two hours and I highly recommend.

Dubrovnik is hot in the summer, so a night tour is a nice way to get a bit of respite from the heat while still seeing the city. This tour takes place outside the old city, but Marija does run a separate night tour inside that we will definitely sign up for the next time we're here. Marija is a wonderful historian and storyteller. You'll hear stories about ghosts and witches, but also about loves and tragedies. The pace is leisurely and at night the crowds have thinned, so despite some hills and stairs, it's a more accessible way to see the city. It's an authentic view of the lesser known side and stories of the city.

Fabulous end to an amazing holiday. I experienced the Ghost walk with my wife and two adult daughters who loved every aspect of it. Marija was an excellent and engaging guide, who had an obvious passion for the dark history of Dubrovnik.

Booked by a friend prior to our arrival in Dubrovnik this was not my normal excursion. That said I very much enjoyed my tour, our host was friendly and knowledgeable. Throughout the tour she carried a small paraffin lamp the light and smell of which only added to the experience. Our guide clearly knows and is passionate about her city and subject matter. I am a convert to the mystery tour.

We loved this tour! Our guide was fantastic, the stories were very interesting, and it was nice to explore some of Dubrovnik outside of the old city.

We did 2 tours with Marija, Dark Tales of the Old Town and Ghosts & Mysteries. We really enjoyed both of these tours, Marija was really informative and made the tours really fun as well. These were 2 of the most interesting tours we ever done, they really gave a different look into the history of Dubrovnik. We would do a tour with her again and recommend the tours to everyone.

This past week I was lucky enough to take a ghost tour with Haunted Dubrovnik. I am a Flight Attendant and I will be sure to tell other crews about this tour. We only fly here seasonally, but I hope some of my colleagues will be able to take one of these tours, as well. Marija was a fantastic tour guide and I leaned in on every word she said. She offers three different tours on different nights, and I took the ”Ghosts and Mysteries” tour. There were only six of us, the small intimate group lending itself to the spooky atmosphere. There were dark, steep, and narrow stairways. There was a cemetery. There are very old, dark, crumbling buildings. Marija was adorned in black, leading us by lantern through the cobblestone streets. All contributed to the perfect recipe for a ghost tour. Around each and every corner, the air felt heavy with a presence lurking in the shadows. My next visit cannot come soon enough and I hope to take another of Marija’s tours. She truly has an outstanding gift for story telling, and I continue to think about our ethereal evening of dark and creepy tales. What a nice tour this was! She is so, so nice and is great in storytelling. Ofcourse not historical facts sharing, but myths and ghost stories. Really nice to book a tour like this to do something else. Really value for money!

Marija is an amazing storyteller and brought the history of Dubrovnik’s stories to life in a knowledgeable and interesting way. The tour was fun and mysterious and we went down back roads and saw parts of the city that you wouldn’t usually see as a tourist. As the night drew in, following Marija and her lantern felt spooky and we hung on her every word. Brilliant tour and something different to do!
