I recently did the Street Art Tour with Alternative Dublin, as well as the special edition, St. Brigid's weekend, Women in Street art. Both were amazing! But the Women in street art was my favourite. I couldn't believe all the street art I'd never noticed while having now been in Dublin for several years. The guides were brilliant and so knowledgeable and passionate about all the pieces they showed us. A special shoutout to Cliodhna, who was absolutely fantastic and answered every question and told loads of great anecdotes . She's such a gem! I've already recommended the tour to friends and will be keeping my eyes peeled for more similar tours from Alternative Dublin. GRMMA xx

I found this to be a wonderful introduction to the arts in Dublin. Liam and Cleeta (?) were knowledgeable and marvelous guides. Great experience! I was able to also get follow-on recommendations for other art venues.

Wonderful, enthusiastic walking tour host. We had the good fortune of a warm, sunny day. The meet up location was easy to find, and the walk was easy. Tour host had great stories and knowledge.

The tour completely surpassed my expectations. I learnt so much & saw art I’d previously walked past without noticing. The mural with the fish & the bottle completely blew my mind. A really well structured tour with a good balance of different stops plus 2 visits to related premises. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable & passionate about his subject.

It was a great experience to explore Dublin with Diarmuid. He is a amazing guide. While he was talking about the street art I learnt a lot. If anyone wants to try something new I highly recommend this tour.

We went today to enjoy this wonderful street art tour with Eoin our "penguin cookies guide". Since the beggining he introduced the group into a fun experience by his cheerful attitude. His knowledge of the art around the city was fantastic, very accurate and with lots of interesting facts. 2 hours where time flies by. I was looking for a easygoing Sunday activity and learn more about the city. Owen was our instructor at the tour. He was super nice, professional and well informed about the different art pieces. I would highly recommend this tour for whoever is looking for a fun activity and looking at different parts of the city.

Just brought a gang of 5th Year art students on this tour yesterday. It was excellent. The tour guide (Eoin) was full of energy, enthusiasm and knowledge and the selection of art works were incredible. It's mad that you can walk down a street a hundred times barely registering the fantastic art works out there. After one of these tours you won't do that again. Was talking to the kids who were on the tour this morning and they were still buzzing about the experience. Highly recommended.

Went with LC students and we were all delighted with the enthusiasm and positivity of the guide and he gave us all a new and refreshing discovery of street Art in the city and we would all highly recommend it to anyone who has a curiosity about the street murals.

Fascinating walk with great insight into the history of street art and how it has shaped not only Dublin but Ireland as a whole. Brilliantly delivered by our tour guide Eoin who took us round some of the lesser known spots in the city. Was great to see how the art has changed over time and the powerful statements it can make.

Eoin was an excellent guide and really brought the stories behind the artworks to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We were even lucky enough to serendipitously meet one of the artists responsible for murals on icon alley and the spoken word poet whose work inspired him. Even got an impromptu recital. Overall an excellent experience and well worth doing.

Diarmuid was a fantastic and passionate guide who has a wealth of knowledge about street art and art culture in Dublin. Highly recommend to anyone looking to see a different side to Dublin, tourist or native alike. (Talks from artists themselves was a great bonus!)
