What an amazing hike to do! From the get go our guide Dee was truly wonderful, knowledgeable, considerate and really made the hike interesting. At all times she was great at including all the group, I was in my own and really enjoyed the experience. Well worth doing a guided tour.

I was looking to spend time outdoors during my trip to Ireland, and I’m glad I found this tour - it was one of the best tours I’ve done. Paul guided us all around Howth and shared the history and stories of the area throughout the trip. It’s not the easiest hike, but the different landscapes and seascapes are an incredible reward. Paul’s two dogs also kept us entertained throughout the hike, and four hours flew by quickly. I will definitely do this hike again if I return to Howth.

Shane is an incredible guide who shares a bounty of Howth & Dublin history through his engaging storytelling and presentation. He is also firmly rooted in the community, and would greet passer-bys on the trail and throughout the town. Shane takes seriously his commitment to leave the environment better than when we arrived, and by the end of the hike, I too was picking up bits of trash and stashing them in my backpack for proper disposal as well, inspired by his passion. You really got the sense that you were seeing this incredible landscape through the eyes of someone who knows it well and loves it deeply. Loki, his dog companion, is also charming and so well-behaved. Having Loki along on the journey made the day even better! Even visiting in mid-December, as Shane said a "solemn time" due to the low light and cold conditions, I was blown away by the natural beauty. We toured a variety of landscapes in just 4 hours -- forest, meadow, cliffs, rolling hills, seaside -- and all exquisitely beautiful. I will never forget this day. Thank you, Shane & Loki.

Dee was such a wonderful guide. She was very communicative about what, realistically, would be needed for the weather/terrain. She was also very supportive when both proved slightly challenging for me and I was moving slow 😂. Extremely knowledgeable about the area and a pleasant conversationalist about other unrelated topics that popped up during our time together. She took and shared great pictures! I would highly recommend taking a hike with Dee!

The hike around Howth was beautiful and fun. It was about 9 miles with some hills - hiking shoes are helpful. The views were amazing. Our tour consisted of 7 people - 2 families of three and one single person. A great group with easy conversation. Dee is a wonderful guide! She’s friendly and local and very knowledgable. Her stories and enthusiasm made the hike even better. This was a hike she did regularly even before she was a top-notch tour guide. If you’re staying in Dublin, just hop on the DART to Howth. Easy trip and highly recommended.

My hiking trip in Howth, Ireland, was made exceptional thanks to my guide, Dee. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shared fascinating stories about Howth as we hiked to the summit. It's a great choice for solo travelers who want to avoid the typical tourist trails and seek a more unique adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend to those looking for an authentic, companionable exploration of Howth's natural beauty.

This is an absolutely fabulous hike. Not to be missed. We had a little rain, after all it’s Ireland, and it just added to the thrilling views of the landscape. I highly recommend it!

Howth is a bit touristy, however walking with Howth Adventures got us off the beaten track. With an amazing view around every corner, I would highly recommand the four hour walking tour!

The guide Paul was excellent in his knowledge of the area and flexible in making sure I got the best hike for me. This Coastal Hike gave me a good insight into Ireland and some of it's people. I was truly impressed!

Had a fantastic hike with Dee! Very nice lady with the necessary knowledge. Because of cab problems arrived almost half an hour later than the tour started, quite difficult you would think to pick up but that was beyond Aylien. She picked me up at the meeting point and took me to the group. Shortly thereafter also met the pleasant Shane. All in all an unlikely recommendation for anyone who loves nature and hiking. Price-quality more than good! Thanks guys!!! Memories made for life!

Dee, our wonderful guide, provided an amazing experience. You get a little of everything on this hike: history, fabulous views, and great exercise. Dee was great at facilitating connections with our little group and was personable and very knowledgeable. She regaled us with stories of shipwrecks, castles and more. Highly recommend!
