Amazing experience! Our guide was Sean, who was a lovely presence and told us captivating stories about each of the spots we’ve stopped at. The itinerary he chose was breathtaking and it did not feel rushed at all. I’d recommend this hike to anyone visiting Dublin and Howth, as it was the highlight of our trip to Ireland!

We had an awesome time with Deirdre hiking the cliffs. She met us promptly and was a wealth of information. She took photos of our group and sent us a short video. She joined us for lunch and filled us in on many tidbits regarding Irish history. We can't thank her enough for the experience and would undoubtedly recommend this adventure to anyone in the area.

Dee was amazing! She reached out the day prior to ensure we showed up prepared for the hike. We were blessed with a great day full of sunshine. She shared the history of Howth and many breathtaking views during our hike. It was a fantastic day!

One would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a Dublin day than to head out and team up with Howth Adventures. Equally challenging would be uncovering a more capable guide than Dee. Former educator and clearly a gifted hiker, herself, she brings equal parts active adventure, deep local knowledge and storytelling that brings centuries of excitement to the fore. Hat’s off, to her companion guide, Lauren, for her ability to connect with the teens and 20’s on the tour bringing great balance to the overall group experience. The Howth flora, fauna and topography…. Well, that just speaks for itself, now, doesn’t it?

The Howth Cliff Walk Hike with Paul, his Irish setter Millie and terrier Scoot, was unforgettable. The views were stellar and the light was incredible. Paul was good and interesting company. My husband and I were the only ones on the walk and Paul was very considerate, adjusting to our pace.

We really appreciated Dee’s stories and enjoyed the beautiful views. Must-do for hike lovers who want to escape Dublin for a day and experience nature.

Conor was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable and easy to chat with. Not too fast, not too slow. He knew trails and routes we could not have found on our own. We are so glad we did this hike and would do it again.

I took part in this hike around Howth as part of the IAAT annual conference. It was very enjoyable, the guide was excellent and gave good, interesting facts and information about the area. The hike was fabulous and we enjoyed fabulous views along the way, would highly recommend this activity.

We had a beautiful day in Howth. The train ride from Dublin was an easy commute and the Howth station is convenient walking for a lazy-day tour of the seafaring town. Our 20 something grandson hiked the trails and got some amazing shots of spectacular coastal scenes. We chose the less strenuous strolling through the downtown area, visiting various unique craft vendors, retail stores, neat coffee shops for brunch and early evening meal. Nice park area, friendly town, tasty food. It was a neat experience for us.

This tour was a great day out. Howth is stunning and our tour guide Dee was very knowledgable and her passion for Howth and its history is infectious. It was about 3-4hours and we battled all the weather conditions. So worth it.

Exceptional, must do, amazing views!! Our guide Dee was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, funny and just a warm person. I had questions on traveling to the meet location, I got immediate replies and directions, awesome! The meet up location was well marked and Dee was on time, early that is! Dee was an amazing story teller, we got history, folklore and a deeper history of the Celtics and Irish. I absolutely loved the trip, would highly recommend to anyone, the views were spectacular!!!

What a lovely hike with Dee! She was the highlight of the trip with her guiding and history. I loved the combo of the Cliffs and the Hills. I recommend to anyone and especially solo travelers. Bring some hiking boots if possible! Really lovely thank you Dee

The hike along the coast / cliffside was breathtaking. Paul and his 2 puppies were wonderful guides. He took us through so many hidden paths that made the sights so much more memorable and unique. Truly incredible experience.

Hiking in sunshine. Hiking in rain. It doesn’t matter because the views are breathtaking. I highly recommend this hike!
