Matthew is an excellent guide. He is clearly a fantastic kayak instructor but also knows the coastline well. He talked us through some of the sights and was really personable. Thank you Matthew. We had an amazing experience.... came across our first seal in the first 5 minutes! The sun was shining and the sea was calm.... what a beautiful day. The tide was getting lower when we went out and it was fantastic to see the seals lounging on the rocks, with a few of the younger ones bobbing up out of the sea near the kayaks. Just magical.

What an amazing morning out in the water. From the views, to the excellent guide and the water it was incredible. I couldn’t believe how many seals we seen. What a brilliant birthday present. Great activity, would recommend and will recommend to everyone.

The guide was very knowledgeable and cared about our safety! She took great care to make sure we were able to kayak before taking us out. The views were beautiful and the seals were the absolute best part. Seeing the seals up close is a once in a lifetime experience!

Our Kayaking tour guide was awesome, he was so kind and all the rules were straightforward! He did an awesome job at guiding us and kept up with our pace- even when we slowed down. It was such an amazing experiencing seeing seals so close to us in their natural habitat, knowing they’re safe and protected but being able to be close to them was awesome. I really loved kayaking, there was so much history and passion being told from our kayaking guide- it made our vacation so much more fun & genuine. I hope to come back to Ireland soon!

This was a great trip! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate for a trip to Dalkey Island, the guides rearranged our tour time to make it happen. And they constantly checked in to ensure everyone was comfortable in windy conditions - the wetsuits were great so we all wanted to keep going! It was fun to learn the local history and see marine life. Paddling the Harbor was much more fun than just walking along the shore. I’d love to go back on a sunny day for another adventure!

Wonderful!!! Our guide Phillip went absolutely above and beyond. My 70 year old mom kept up just fine. One of the highlights of our trip.

We had such a great time in Dun Laoghaire harbour! Guides were amazing, we saw some funky seals and everybody had fun! Really recommend the experience to everybody - we were not an easy group to handle (children, water sports newbies as well as quite advanced folks) but everybody enjoyed the time spent on water! 🦭👌

This was such a fun tour! We saw soooo many seals and they came right up to us. Felt like an explorer getting off at the island and seeing the animals. Guides were very friendly and fun.

Susan and Jenny were great. Very friendly and explained everything very well. I would abosolutly go back if i am in Dublin again. Having never kayaked before, they looked after us very well and we felt safe the whole time.

Been on my bucket list for a while ... just needed my planets to align ! Today was the day. All kitted up in wetsuits and bouyancy vests, we were given instructions on shore and then headed out to the inner harbour to practise. Gentle leisurely paddle, and yes, we saw seals ! Bobbing in the water ... Interesting light history, biology and geology commentary along the way from the guides. Our guides were Phil and Jenny. Oh, and the sun shone all afternoon !

So cool seeing the seals and the bay. Great guides and if you’re worried about being cold- don’t be, the wetsuits will keep you plenty warm. Also, for my fellow chub’n’flub friends (aka fat), don’t worry, they got big size wetsuits!

Brilliant activity. We had never been kayaking before but soon picked up the basic skills from the friendly instructors. We saw a number of seals and at one point saw at least four seals together.

We had a wonderful time. Hamish, Rowan & Phil were excellent guides, nothing was a problem. Terrific insight into the history of the area & the seal colony. We would highly recommend this activity to anyone

Excellent experience. The trip takes you along the coast and out to Dalkey Island. Lots of seals and birdlife. First class guide in Hamish. We live locally and the trip gives you a new perspective on the coast and its environment. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! The guides were wonderful, patient and informative. We had some rough waters that day but James even towed us for a bit to catch up! We were able to see plenty of seals that day! I'm in average shape not very athletic, so I was worried about the distance but the tour makes little stops along the way to sightsee or explain landmarks, so it wasn't exhausting. The small downside of the day was that we almost missed the whole excursion because we couldn't find them. Read your itinerary carefully as the meeting place is separate from where you actually launch from. Ours also stated that the meeting place on viator is wrong. Several of us agreed that signs would be helpful. If you can, a go pro or water camera would be great to capture memories. The guides will gladly take photos and send them right to you but they can only do this briefly (understandably). Thank you Hamish and James for your patience and kindness. This was the highlight of our trip!

What an incredible day. Wonderful instruction, that gave us confidence to paddle in the ocean. Our experience could not have been more surreal. Beautiful scenery, clear water, fun stories as well as great history from our guides. Getting to see the seals and watch them play was amazing. We loved the little island with the bunnies, goats and ruins. Our ages were 70 to 64, we were so proud that we made the 2+ hour tour. We highly recommend this tour and these wonderful guides.

We are a family of 6 and each one of us enjoyed this activity. Adam and Matt were great guides. Definitely fun, communicate well and very patient. I love seals, so this was extra amazing for me. A couple of us did double kayaks and a couple singles. Definitely wear water SHOES-not flip flops or slides bc of slippery situations when you are stopped on the island and getting the kayaks in the water. If you wear glasses or sunglasses make sure to have a cord so they don’t fly off. Definitely wear a swimsuit under the wet suit. You will get wet. And fyi-no changing area so make sure you have clothes that are easy to change with. This was such a great experience. HIGHLY recommend. We absolutely loved it! Thanks to all involved with our trip
