This was such a fun and amazing experience! Denis and Virginia were so invested in making this a special day in Marseille, and the neighboring towns like Cassie. They know all the great views for pictures and the gorgeous sights to see. We will definately always remember them and the great memories they made for us. We were a family of 4 and traveled to Marseille while on a cruise on November. Denis and Virginia were amazing! They were waiting for us right outside the cruise ship. There was no stress involved. The places they took us to were absolutely breathtaking. Denis and Virginia treated us like family. They took the time to make sure we captured the places we visited with lots of pictures and even created a video for us. It was an unforgettable experience. The car was comfortable and clean and we never felt unsure of where we were going. This was an amazing experience! If you are looking at this excursion you should definitely book. You will not be disappointed!

Dennis and Virginia were excellent tour guides. We had an amazing tour of Cassis and surrounding areas. We drove a manual and it was so fun and exciting. 10/10 highly recommended

It was the highlight of our EU tour. Perfect weather helped, but the car was in perfect shape and fun to drive. Our guide, Denis, was professional, friendly, and helpful. I had been to Cassis before, but never from the cliffs surrounding the town. So beautiful. The Côte d'Azur did not disappoint! Book this tour, you will not be sorry!

Denis and his daughter were excellent host. Highly recommended. Easy to follow in the cars. We went to great sightseeing spots for great photos of cassis and the coast. The market in cassis was an additional surprise.

We had a wonderful tour of Marseille, Calanques National Park and Cassis with Denis. It was one of our all-time favorite tours. Denis showed us many very scenic sights around Marseille and Calanques National Park. He showed us sights where some of the water sports in the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held. That was so cool! My husband had so much fun driving us in a gorgeous immaculate Volkswagen Beetle convertible. We stopped at bakery for some delicious pastries. We then drove to Cassis, a small, beautiful coastal town. We had time to explore, shop and eat a delicious lunch, sitting outside at a local restaurant. The weather was beautiful which made this day even more perfect! Thank you, Denis, for showing my husband and me your beautiful city and the surrounding area. Also, thank you so much for sending us the video and pictures you took of us so that we can always remember how special this day was.

We had the most wonderful adventure with Denis & Virginia! From the moment we met them, we felt comfortable. This was a spectacular way to see Marseille, Cassis, & the coast!! Denis and his daughter Virginia were fabulous tour guides. We had a great time following them around in our cool little convertible Fiat500! Super friendly and hospitable and so lovely to see father and daughter working alongside one another. They showed us round the coast line of Marseille and took us to places we never would have found on our own… a fabulous little bakery where we stopped for some fresh bread and coffee… croissants also looked amazing there. Also visited Calanques de Figuerolle and the little town of Cassis for a spot of lunch…Beautiful places we’d like to go back to some day. They took lots of pictures for us and Virginia even made a cute little video! Very nice touch! Both speak great English, so made a really easy day out. They were also very accommodating when I left my phone behind in a beach bar and had to make a trek back for it. Thanks for a lovely day! We’d highly recommend them!

A personalized tour, with excellent guides and the places we visited were very beautiful.I recommend if you visit Marceilla to have this experience driving a convertible, we had a wonderful time

Dennis and Virginia were absolutely amazing!! This is a must do tour! Pick-up and drop off we’re easy. We were back to our ship in plenty of time before we had to board. The places and views were breathtaking. Pictures don’t do this tour justice. They also took pics and videos for us. We can’t say enough great things about this tour. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Dennis & Virginia!

Denis and his daughter, Virginia were outstanding tour guides. Fun to be with . Denis was attentive guide, provided us with first class car, bakery, and spectacular views. Only negative thing is the price for a second car. Having five people in the group was a problem. Our fifth person chose not to go because of the cost of a second car.

This was a wonderful experience. The car was beautiful and our hosts for the tour were right on time and very attentive to every detail! We drove all over the island and saw a gorgeous church and views from awe inspiring locations overlooking the island. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

Best tour of the entire cruise!!!! Denis and his wife are incredible guides of Marseille and Cassis with incredible views and great pictures. Went with my boyfriend and parents. He made it very easy picking us up from the port and making sure we returned in time without feeling rushed. Do not hesitate to book. We all had a great time!

Denis and his team did a Fantastic job even with the challenges of roads he normally uses for the tour being close the day of our tour. He improvised and gave us a great experience. We were able to see a lot of Marseille and then the beautiful Cassis winemaking area. It was such an adventure being able to drive our own convertible top-down with just our family in it through the roads in France one of our favorite excursions from several cruises we’ve done as a family. Great views/scenery and a great time. We will remember this one for a long time! Thank you Denis! Also great communication about the meet-up point and trip details.

This tour was perfect, supervised and organised. I drove a pretty beetle through the streets of Marseille and Cassis. The 2 main roads of the tour have been closed due to the weather as they are protected areas. However Denis and his family knew how to make us spend a very nice day, they brought us in a mini van to a magnificent creek in La Ciotat. If you want to spend a day like no other with memories full of your head, go for it!

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT !! READ BEFORE BUYING !!!! I always try to be as honest and fair with my reviews as possible. Denis and his children (man and woman) were very nice and communicative, but I had to give him a 3 because for the amount of money that we paid for this tour, these issues shouldn’t have happened. Cons: - Two roads were closed due to a forest fire hazard which added 1.5 hrs driving. This could’ve easily been avoided if the tour guide (Denis) would’ve checked the closure of roads on apps like Google Maps and the National Park website. Because of this delay, we just drove for an extra 1.5hrs and had less time in La Ciotat (only 1 hour) and the private beach (only 15 mins!). It takes you 10 min just to climb down and up the hill at the beach. - When we finally get to la Ciotat, Denis tells us we have 1hr before coming back to the meeting spot. (Note: During some parts of the tour, we would park the VW Beetles and go with him in the vans). We asked him for a recommendation of where to eat. He told us to go to Les Frangines. It was a sit down restaurant where they prepare every meal fresh. By the time we finally got our food, the hour was done and we had to ask for it to go. When we get back to the car, we asked if we could eat while he drove. At first he said yes, and then changed his mind two minutes later and said he’d rather us wait until we got to the beach to eat. We have small children that needed to eat and we where following his recommendation as our tour guide. Why would he recommend a ridiculously overpriced restaurant and a place that takes their time making the meals knowing well that we only had 1 hour? - There was no informational moments during the tour at any of the stops. He didn’t explain the history behind certain things or places. Pros: - The cars where well kept and in good conditions - The routes chosen are very scenic - He was always readily available to take your picture - Denis and his crew were nice It’s a real shame I couldn’t give this tour a five. It has the potential to be a solid five, but hopefully he takes these things into consideration. Paying over $600 for a tour should mean that you get your moneys worth. Be proactive and check all the designated roads that the tour will be going on in order to ensure that there are no closures. Also, don’t recommend a restaurant knowing very well that there’s very little time at that spot. Your clients depend on you for a good recommendation in and lastly, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I would recommend giving a brief explanation/history in the 3 to 4 stops that you make. Give your clients context so that they feel they know the place a little better.
