The trip was well organized and Gabriel, our guide, did a good job keeping everyone together and on time. Although the two castles we visited were extremely busy, and was impossible to take photos thru the crowd. The Dracula Castle had a huge line up to get in, we barely had enough time to see everything.

Excellent trip, reassuring to have a great guide (SERBEN RIGS) & extremely safe driver (NICU) and company when travelling alone. No toilets onboard but plenty of opportunities at sites (be prepared to queue!) and purposeful stop. Was prepared for the loud commentary and few choice words from guide (from reading other reviews). He will emphasise/drum in the expectations to be on time etc but I thought this was great - not penalising those that attend on time and you can't say you weren't told 🫣 It would've been helpful to have the earlier ETA for meeting point sent from the company sooner than the day before but this might've been just me as I booked last min? Just 1 lady out of entire the coach missed the trip as they hadn't seen the message. Guide overall made this trip, knowledgeable and friendly, with plenty to talk about (may not suit everyone as he does just talk too, but this didn't bother me too much) and yes - loud but again, appreciated when I wasn't at the front of the tour queue. Overall, best under £20 (plus entry fees/food) spent for full day tour. Felt super safe & reassuring as he text to check in during free time and confirming again meet up point and time and would contact if you were late.

Tour was pretty bad. Guide had very little historical knowledge. His main objective seemed to be keeping the bus clean and trying to get people to drink his alcohol he brought on bus. Not worth the money at all.

Was a bit disappointing mainly because the greenery we see in the pictures of the castle was not there. Being the end of winter, the green was replaced bvy the browns of dry trees and branches. Although we knew that the castle is being in line with Bram Stokers novel, the experience was a bit of a let down. But it was definitely worth a tick in the box.

I paid for the tour for three in advance. Before the appointed day, no one contacted me, and on the day of the excursion at the meeting place I was told that our names were not on the list and we were never able to get paid tour

I'm coming over here from a long way away. I take what I have never seen, and count that as a win. Peles Castle was closed on the day I chose to take the tour but it did not detract from my experience. I at least got to see it. Given the cost of the tour...really?...I could not have expected better or more. I got to see amazing things...Old Brasov was beautiful, and Bran was just as wonderful. I've seen more of Romania in this one tour than I ever thought I'd see in my life. How awesome is that?

The local tour operator did not pick us up and did not communicate clearly. We requested a refund and we have not received any further communication or refund.

The tour guide spoke very poor English and had infantile knowledge about the places of visit. We spend long hours in the bus, the two Castles and Peles and Bran - the visit is around 30 min long but the waiting time in the queue in the rain was around an hour and a half. If you want to make a time travel and feel like in the communist time these two visits are for you. You will feel the pressure of the crowd in the queue, some people will not respect the rules and will just go in front of you. Peles castle is beautiful but again the visiting is very badly organised, Bran is even worse. You can see the big corruption problem Romania has, otherwise you can not explain how a place that receives dayly so many tourists is so badly organised. "The Dracula" attraction is not worth the money and the time, when you go out from the castle (looking for a toilet cause the site does not offer any ;) you are in the middle of ridiculous mixture of lunapark and village without pavements. A lot of stands with cheap souvenirs are according the guide the place you could spent 2 hours?! Bran castle is not for people with disabilities or claustrophobia - again for the money the authorities are getting for the attraction, it should meet the European standard of safety. The only nice time from this was the hour spent in Brašov. We were very disappointed of this day, we would not recommend this trip to anyone.

The tour guide, Serban, was great and always worried about getting on time to the places. However, and although it was Halloween time and there was traffic and a lot of people, I felt that we didn't have time at all. We went from one place to another with rush and we didn't spend more than 40 minutes in Brasov. From my point of view, it might have been better to just visit once Castle.

The tour was great! Tour guide and driver (Serban and Narcis) were both very good on what they do! Picked up from a central location of Bucharest on time, arrival according to the schedule. It's really remarkable how many things we saw and learn in that day trip. Serban gave as several info ..not only about the places we visited but also about general Romanian history. Absolutely beautiful places💕Thank you

tour guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and professional...only negative was the tour ran 13 hours with traffic delays...so just a very long day...perhaps reduce free time in Brasov and less commentary in Bran castle, a brochure will tell the history and be less time consuming

Highly recommended, Otilia was a wonderful guide. You need to take some edible along as it is a full day trip. Must take along umbrellas/ rain coats considering the weather forecast

Well organised tour of Peles and Bran Castles. Serban, our tour guide, organised everyone very well meaning that the tour ran on schedule and there was no time wasted waiting on latecomers. Our driver, Narcis, was also very good and we felt safe at all times. It is a very long day (13 hours) due to the high volume of traffic in and out of Bucharest and in the Brasov area, but worth it to see the Carpathians and the castles.

Both castles were exceptional as was the Transylvanian scenery in general. Host was very knowledgeable and managed a group of 40 people and their needs very well. Only minor issue was visiting Brasov when there was a massive musical festival on and couldn’t really see or do much . It would have been better to ask the group whether they wanted to do this effectively added another 3 hours to an already long day (0715 to 2200). Other than that was a great trip.

Hands down one of the best tour guides I've ever had. Serban Riga made every part of the trip worth it, he was full of facts and local stories. Was more than happy to answer any questions and super accommodating and professional even when faced with difficult customers. The driver also deserves a shout out, managed tricky roads and traffic beautifully. Serban also was our personal guide inside the castles and brasov, was a exceptional touch in my opinion. Would book another tour without hesitation.

First of all, be aware that this is a real 12h tour at least ! For my tour, due to the traffic jam, we went back to Bucarest at 9 pm so almost 14h tour !! People shall be aware of it before complaining. This is neither the fault of the driver or the tour guide. Regarding our tour guide tour Serban, he's never at loss of words. It is not a good or a bad thing but introvert people may not like it. Moreover, he has a real sense of reality ! People can say it is stereotype but, as a romanian guy, if is saying so, it's true. Furthermore he is caring really about the customers, trying to offer them the best treatment possible when speaking about bathroom. Most of the bathroom at the petrol stations on the road are disgusting and unhygienic and so he's caring much of stopping only at the most hygienice ones. Even though that means a stop every 2h. I agree that communication must be definitely improve. Proposing multiples pick up point through the city is definitely not the best way to manage. Only 1 pick up point shall be adressed for everybody. Finally regarding the tour, Peles castle is definitely the must go. Bran castle compare to Peles is literrally nothing. Do not expect too much of Bran castle. Maybe the stop at Braşov can be avoided, cause it is adding more drive on the way back, but globally the tour is good. I recommend it !!

Tour guide Serbian was fantastic. His knowledge and understanding of relevant historical facts and personality was outstanding. It was a very positive experience. However, the drive back was very long do to excessive traffic. A function of the tour circumstances. Be careful when booking the pick up location. It is not clear and can be confusing. There are only three pick up spots you can choose from. They do not offer hotel pick up Services.

Loved all the places we went and the driver was amazing because he drove Safe but Serban , the tour guide rushed us the entire time. I’ve never been on a tour that was for a day where they didn’t fit in time for us to have lunch and he said no food on the bus or drinks. For a full day tour at least fit a specific time just for us to eat. We didn’t have enough time to explore and eat. Even in the end he said sorry if I rushed but time is important because we have to get back because my driver has to shower, sleep, etc. it was about them and not the customers.

I absolutely enjoyed this trip and would recommend anyone thinking about doing it, to do it. Departe was 7 30 am from Bucharest and drop off back was around 10 PM, so consider this time slot as it's around 14 hour round trip. The guide Serban Riga and our driver Narcis were beyond professional, hats off to them, they went above and beyond to have us as the 1st group to enter at every attraction, their trip and timing were perfect I'm sure down to many years of experience. Serban s knowledge,good attitude and constant attention to detail were second to none. I recommend this trip and especially this tour guide. 10/10
