Me and my friend traveled across Lake Como for this wine tasting and it surpassed all of our expectations! We had the most amazing time! There were two lovely couples on our wine tasting experience who were lovely and made the experience even more magical! The knowledge and information about the wines, vines and origin was truly exceptional by our host. She thoroughly made us feel part of the history of the winery. The food accompaniments were also divine! They were incredibly delicious and very filling! I would visit this winery again in a heartbeat! Thank you for such an amazing afternoon.

We have visited this restaurant half a dozen times this year, and on each occasion been delighted with the food and the service. Hanka has served us quite a few times now and she is excellent. Will definitely be going again soon.

We had a great time at the winery: the tour was very interesting, wines and food very enjoyable and the atmosphere lovely. The view was also beautiful, and the whole experience was definitely worth the price.

Full Disclaimer: we did not get to attend the winery! We stayed in Bellagio like another reviewer and we understood the distance to get to the winery (over an hour!) but there are not many water taxis, car taxis, or ubers and our transportation cancelled on us and the winery would not refund us. Also note that the transportation is very costly $$ (a private water taxi was 1100 euros for example, the ferry plus regular taxi was $200 EUR) The response to the other reviewer was quite rude "use a map and the internet; plan in advance like thousands of others do" - we did plan in advance and because the transportation was so unreliable it did not work out for us. We requested a refund and it was rejected. I'm sure the winery is delightful if you can get there - just understand the transportation challenges. Having location details in the tour description would be very beneficial - for travelers not familiar with the area Lake Como is very large and in October the transportation was very unreliable. We will see if I get a snarky response from the owner too.

Winery was very accommodating when different groups arrived at different times to treat each group special. There were 3 wine tastings of Sparkling white, white and red wine. Food served was prosciutto, bread, cheese and salami. You could pay an additional 10 for ravioli and polenta. We didn’t but group next to us really enjoyed it. Took about a 20 min tour on the inside about how the wines were made. The red wine was at George Clooney’s wedding reception. Only downside is it was pouring but they were sweet to give us blankets to stay warm. If you don’t have a car then hire a taxi. It’s not cheap. Cost us €135 and our Villa was 25 min away.

I rated this one star because I reached out to the owner through viator and never got a response. We were staying in Bellagio and the tour is in Domaso. When I booked the experience, I was under the impression that getting to Domaso would be no problem on the ferries. Turns out that it’s not so easy to get there and back by ferry. I recommend doing extensive research on how to get there before booking.

We had an amazing time on one of the wettest days ever on the lake haha. Silvia and the staff were fantastic even though dealing with hard conditions with the rain. The food never stopped coming - I lost count after 3 large platters of Hams and cheeses with bread and oil. The wines were delicious and seemed to flow for ever ! The tour of the wine yard ( inside ) was really interesting and info on how they started as a family this award winning vineyard. The staff had to arrange everyone transport back as the weather was horrendous and way too dangerous to attempt to walk back down to the village.. ( 8cm of rain fell thst day and thundering with violent lightning ) we doubled up in a taxi with a lovely American couple to Varenna and got ferry back to Menaggio. Brilliant price for the wine - about 17 euros a bottle I think… ?

Fabulous experience! Beautiful drive up the winding roads to the winery. A very warm welcome and introductions to the family who were working a grape picking. We had a very interesting tour of the winery and beautiful meal which included wine tasting. Excellent attention to detail, including wool blankets as we were sitting on their beautiful terrace overlooking Como. We had a wonderful night, don’t hesitate to book. ❤️

The hosts went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care of. The tastings of wine were large glasses accompanied by plenty of food. They even drove us to buy bus tickets and dropped us off at the bus stop.

We were part of a very small group of visitors, seven total including me and my two children. Silvia was our hostess and she could not have been more gracious and personable. We really liked the three wines that we sampled and ordered a case of the bubbly wine that was similar to a Prosecco but had a softer feel on the tongue. The meats, cheeses and bread served with wine were delicious.

Sylvia was so knowledgeable and had just an adorable personality. The wine was delicious. We even bought some before we left.

A smaller but very picturesque family vineyard on the hill of Domaso. Short but informative tour by the daughter of the couple who started the business by making wine for themselves. Good wine accompanied by tasty meat, veggies and cheese. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The wine was delicious and created by a local family, who by their efforts allowed Como to become a region known for wine producing. Apparently their red wine was served at George Clooneys wedding in Venice. The food pairings are generous. The views of the mountains in Lake are incredible. Excellent hospitality. If you’re traveling from Como, you can easily make this trip by taking the early morning fast boot. This will give you essentially a private boat tour for the last few stops after Bellagio. Domaso is also a beautiful town with a great beach for swimming and water sports. So doing this trip in the morning and spending the afternoon in Domaso after until the 4:11 return fast boat is a great day trip.
