It's the best decision to have chosen Blue Freedom Apnea for my first freediving experience. The theory class is straightforward and informative to equipped us in the water. Grateful that we have our Guide/Safety Diver Joshua who is very patient and who never ceases to encourage us and gave us advices in order to capture the best shots and videos. Shoutout to his brother Louie as well who make sure we are always safe. With them, you will definitely be in good hands and will have a great time.

Blue Freedom Apnea did a great job. It’s super affordable, with friendly staff and super nice coaches/trainers, and they provide free photos and videos underwater. You'll be able to learn easily. In my case, I didn't know how to hold my breath for so long and was afraid of the depths of the sea, but they made sure that even as a beginner, I could do it. The energy and love for the ocean that they have is really amazing, and it makes you want to do more and dive further. I commend Quim for ensuring that we follow and apply all the theories about freediving, and extra points for the face value 😅 I commend Angelo for his patience and for being supportive. I had a really fun time freediving with the sardines. I hope I was able to justify the beauty of the ocean and the sardines on the photos and videos he took. 📸 I commend Alroy for helping us face our fears with his words of wisdom, it really helps us go beyond. You can see his passion and advocacy in sharing all the knowledge he has with us. He will be a great teacher and freediver. 🫶 Overall, the experience, food, and accommodation are super worth it. Because of this, I want to do more. Blue Freedom Apnea is not just a business for people who want to learn free diving, but they have also built a wonderful community that you will surely love. Many people like me really need this. Kudos! May you and your community receive more blessings.

I recently completed the Discovery Freediving Program and it was an eye-opening experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, guiding us through essential techniques and safety measures. The pool practice helped build confidence, and the open water session was an unforgettable adventure. While I wished for a bit more time in the ocean, this course definitely left me eager to explore freediving further.

Everyone were pleasant and friendly. The training was fast and clear. Jess was very patient a fun instructor.

Instructors are very hands on and the staffs are very accommodating. They helped me overcome my fear. I started from zero and now I can swim and dive without having to worry. Blue Freedom Apnea is very recommended to those who want to learn or explore freediving.

BFA has given me the deciplines and skill set for freediving in such a short amount of time. The way Giorgio teaches is like a ball of knowledge just waiting to be questioned. And the safety team always trying to capture the best moments of your dives through our gopros and the media team who are amazing at editing videos to make you more epic! I came with aida 2 and did a lot of training sessions there, passed my aida 3 and participated to one of their workshop(no limit).

My first free diving experience and it’s definitely a fun one. I learned a lot from my instructors Ms Deborah, Sir Ij, and Sir Joshua. They also offer some nice reel videos that you can post on your Instagram. A perfect place to learn free-diving and it’s beginner friendly. I cannot wait to comeback💗

Can highly recommend Blue Freedom Apnea school. Booked my AIDA 2 course through them after I got it recommended of a friend. The staff is super friendly and my instructor Daniel always went the extra mile to make sure everyone understands the assignments and was very patient with us. Theory and practical lessons were both covered in a professional way. The whole staff was super friendly and always had a smile on their face. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very reasonable price of 180 pesos each. The food is mostly vegan but super delicious. The price of the course is also the best I could find so far in the Philippines. The accommodation was included in a dorm and they even offered me 2x different types of room (partially private or dorm) which was amazing. Air conditioning was the only thing which was missing, but the fans did the job. A big plus is the baby cat from the school, which was always open for a cuddle. Only negative thing I can say is that their organization is not the best, since it’s a very new diving school, but they are working on it. At the beginning it was a bit annoying but looking back at it now, it’s actually not a big deal. They get you where you wanna get and that’s all that matters. Free t-shirt of my choice was also included at the end. Definitely worth checking it out 👍🏼

It is part of my mermaid dreams to become a certified freediver. Blue Freedom Apnea in Panglao, Bohol paved the way for that. Situated just 25 minutes away from Tagbiliran Port, we found ourselves in the HQ of Blue Freedom in Panglao Chocolate Hills Resort. I took the AIDA 1 Package: Introductory Freediving Course which includes accommodation and meals. It was well-worth it. I was accommodated in a shared-accomodation that’s clean and cozy. Meals were so great care of Blue Freedom’s own restaurant (they serve reasonable-priced and delicious food with generous portions at that). The staff are really friendly, fun and recommends the best things you can do in Panglao. My package included yoga sessions, a theory class, a pool session and open water sessions/line trainings. The instructors really knows what they do and explains to us in the best manner that our layman’s minds can understand. Pool and open water sessions were professionally done too. You feel safe with the team. We had several line training activities, etc. And, the next thing I know, I am now a certified novice freediver! Yey! Achievement unlocked indeed! And, amazingly, I signed up for a fun dive in one of Panglao’s best dive sites—Napaling Reef and brought my mermaid tail with me. I can’t contain my excitement for this activity. The guide freedivers who were our photographers/videographers too were topnotch. They know the best angles and you feel safe with them despite the deep waters. I had several shots with my bi fins and mermaid tails. What a surreal moment. Dreams do come true. I am so excited to see how our photos/videos came to be. I can say more. But, I’ll stop here. 100% recommend! very patient and passionate instructor. With Sir Giorgio, as our instructor, i find the course very relaxing and fun. You just have to listen to what he says to keep yourself lax and safe. the place is also amazing , so its probably more fun when diving.

What I am really impressed of is the EMPHASIS of the safety in doing the free diving course that is repeatedly said. Free Diving can be very fun with appropriate teaching and lesson but could definitely dangerous if you free dive recklessly. It is like going to a war without a bullet in a gun Sir Giorgio, my mentor, has been successful in instilling this thing in free divers undertaking the course. Not to mention, the teaching is perfectly and systemically organized so I am pretty well progressing. I have never been so relaxed and amazed of how Ocean can be so relieving especially when you are underwater, watching marine animals Also, Bohol is very nice spot for free diving and other recreational spots. So if you happen to come here or look for an aesthetically beautiful diving spot, I highly recommend that you drop by and enroll to this school ^_^
