We really enjoyed it; therefore , the 4 stars. We'd recommend this tour. It's a new tour so there is some room for some minor improvements. Hotel pick up, taxi, was arranged by the guide which was very helpful. We paid for the taxi but it was still convenient. The return taxi to the hotel was a little bit more than the initial taxi but not much, just be aware. The tour is new so the young guide/owner made every effort to make sure we enjoyed ourselves which we did. We may have been the first guests so he's off to a great start. He provided juice and coffee and some fresh fruit. The tour is actually linked with his new restaurant but it was too early in the day for food service. I got to try tossing the fishing net, taught by a local fisherman on his fishing boat. A first for me. I sucked at it so I won't be changing careers. Tipped a $1. There was a guy in another basket boat showing off his boating skills to the Gangnam Style music. Hard to believe but it was entertaining. Tipped $1 Just remember to keep some small bills/currency for tips. We truly wish the guide all the best and a successful business.

We highly recommend this experience! We opted to pay extra to be picked up by a driver and dropped at the location of the excursion. Upon drop-off, we were warmly met by Thanh, our guide. He took us to have some fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice as he explained the itinerary for the excursion. Then, we got into our boat and enjoyed sailing along the non-crowded river. The man rowing our boat was very friendly and pointed out different highlights and attractions along the way. He also stopped to teach us to crab fish, which we quickly became successful with! He also took us to a fisherman who taught us how to fish with a net -- we were less successful with this but learning the technique was still fun! we were not at all harassed for tips, which we appreciated, but we chose to anyway because of how kind everyone was. After the cruise, we were given more fresh juice, which we loved.

The boats are really nice and the passage is also good.It looks really nice close to sunset. The people handling the boats are also very cheerful.

Local guide is very friendly. Helped arranged a ride from the place of accommodation to the tour and back for a small fee. He is also very welcoming, and tries to accommodate to your needs & request.

This was a good morning out. Arrived at the location and was greeted with a coffee. You then have a local paddle up to 2 passengers in the basket boat. It is quite peaceful for most of the trip, they have some bamboo fishing rods you can try catch some fish/crabs with and you can watch some local fisherman with nets. There are some very touristy bits in the middle with blasting speakers and locals doing tricks for tips. But overall a good experience if you're looking for something to do.

We joined the basket boat tour while we were in Hoi An. This program is only for basket boat tour which was we were looking for. This program is organised by lovely couple who is also running cafe at the coconut riverside. We spent great time at there. The couple was very friendly and the local driver of the boat wanted to show us more than just touristic stuff. The whole tour takes about 1.5 hr including 40 minutes of boat riding. You will have to call to the number to reach them after buying tickets. The tour time is quite flexible, you will have to speak to the organiser to set the schedule. Highly recommended! You shouldn’t miss it!

Didn’t exactly fit description. Had to get a grab there and back, but still very fun. Aim to leave in morning if want to avoid noise

Nous nous attendions à parcourir la rivière à travers les cocotiers mais ce n’est le cas que sur qques mètres… ensuite vous êtes amenés à faire des activités afin d’obtenir des pourboires par ci par là… photos devant des pancartes, jeux sur l’eau, photos avec un pêcheur… franchement, nous avons été largement déçus car nous pensions faire une balade paisible à travers la forêt… ça plaira aux bandes de copains qui ont envie de rigoler, pas aux personnes en recherche d’authenticité. Attention, des femmes en scooter harcèlent à l’entrée du village et v’amènent au ponton d’embarcation de manière très insistante. 150000 dôngs / 2 personnes + 60000 dôngs d’entrée sur le site…

super moment de distraction, l’activité est vraiment un show : musique de boîte de nuit, lancer de filet de pêche, photo dans les palmiers, danse sur place de coconuts avec musique … L’attraction est sympa, nous y avons passé 1 heure. Attention là aussi il faut négocier, nous avons négocié à 400.000vd pour 3 personnes.

Este chante lo acaba de adquirir un compita buena nota que le pone cariño al brete. Habla buen inglés, es honesto, cuidadoso y no se lo chulea a uno. Nos dio un fresco de fruta fresca al llegar y al salir, y siempre fue muy atento. El paseo en bote-canasta fue por unos 40 min y nos lo dio una señora que bailaba Gangnam Style y pescó un cangrejillo. Todo muy tuanis y a buen precio. Ak7. ¡Pura vida!

Nous avons fait cette activité via Hanoï Voyages. Le départ du resto était pas mal, pas trop de monde. MAIS, après, le bras de la rivière arrivait dans un vaste espace surpeuplé de bateaux ronds. Quelle fourmilière.. Sans compte la musique à fond la caisse et des conducteurs de bateaux qui faisait tournoyer ceux ci dans tous les sens. Nous avons de suite demandé à sortir de cette ruche à touristes et la fin s'est déroulée calmement comme le début avec la pêche d'un crabe en prime. À éviter tout de même.
