Wonderful Chateau and a Fantastic experience and a great explanation of Terroir from Xavier. Wines were incredible and highly recommend this

Our host Stephanie was great combining her vast knowledge of Pommard and wine in general with her warmth and humour in the presentation. Good value for money but would definitely book a longer trip if we return to Pommard just to look around the chateau and extend the experience.

Our docent was charming and knowledgeable. This wasn't as much a tour as a mini-lecture about the various soils at Pommard and a tasting of 4 wines. If you are looking for a tour of wine-making facilities to see vats and barrels and learn about the process of making wine, this isn't it. But it's a fun experience and only 45 minutes. We were free to wander through the vineyards and a garden afterwards. The town is charming.

Fantastic experience with incredible wines. We received a thorough explanation of the vineyards of the Chateau and the micro environments (chalets) that exists within the vineyards and how they create very destiny wines from these e environments. Super interesting. Super great wines.

This is a special place. Our tasting advisor was very informative. The wines we tasted for very good. We recommend this place for wine lovers.

Very good introduction to the history, the region, wine making process. Wine tasting was excellent. Not long enough!

This was our least favorite tasting. We didn’t try anything worth buying, and literally no one in my tasting group bought anything. My husband and I bought a minimum of two bottles at every other wine maker. No map or pamphlet of the wine maker, wines or region info was offered unlike in all the other tastings. We went to 9 other tastings, so our reference point for comparison is vast. Also, there was loud construction happening on-site; they could have easily set up the tasting in their adjacent property which has a beautiful gardens & courtyard so as to offer a more serene experience. In all, we thought they could do much better with presentation, tasting selection and choosing of the location for tasting.

Very thorough, so knowledgeable and friendly with a good sense humor. She made our experience so personally rewarding.

The host was exceptional and the Chateau was beautiful, however the wines to purchase are very dear.

A ver educational overview of the vineyard and organic winemaking. Xavier was knowledgeable and courteous especially regarding food and wine pairings. Marie at the front desk was so helpful made a reservation for dinner for our group. A really enjoyable outing.

The receptionist was really helpful and the person taking us through the tasting explained a lot about the region and division of wines of Pommard.

We were in the group with a great Brazilian family, very funny father. The girl showing us around, Charlie, did a great job of explaining the different clima's, soils and of course Simone the mistress. The wine tasting room was very spacious and luxurious. The chateau was undergoing a lot of construction, which made the outside look a bit messy but inside it was no problem. Great experience!

Chateau de Pommard wine tasting is really a wonderful experience. Our guide Bella is an enthusiastic and well-informed person who makes your visit unforgettable. With just 6 people in the group it gives you plenty of time and space to ask questions etc. We will most certainly return another time. Our thanks go to Bella. Au revoir.

We celebrated my husband's 78th birthday with this wine tasting, and what a wonderful experience it was! Leah, our hostess, was wonderfully knowledgeable and passionate about the estate and the wines. We learnt so much during our visit. We tasted some really exceptionally wines and went home with quite a few treasures. These wines are made with honesty and integrity, and it shows.
