Brilliant engaging fascinating insight into all that Berlin has to offer ..the history and the famous sites all wonderfully delivered by our very talented guide ‘Lewis’ he was amazingly well versed in all the facts and stories to bring this tour of Berlin to life - we loved it .. and we loved him! We signed up for a 9:00 am tour on a Sunday and we ended up with a super small tour group. Our tour guide, Rona, did a spectacular job. We had limited time, so this was a perfect intro to what the city had to offer and gave us time afterwards to check out some of the sites. In addition to sharing the history of Berlin, Rona answered our questions and also provided various recommendations.

The tour was fantastic! Joel was so knowledgeable and a great story teller. He managed to bring Berlins history to life with interesting stories and anecdotes. He brought together all periods of Berlin’s history really well and kept us engaged the whole time which is impressive over 4 hours ! Would really highly recommend

I did the tour with Rebecca as our guide and had a fantastic time. Rebecca was incredible knowledgeable to the rich history of Berlin and I learnt a lot! There's so much to discover! I was worried that a 3-4 hour tour might be boring or an overload of information, but she was very engaging and it was a wholly enjoyable experience! I was a solo traveller but was able to connect with some other people and ended up going out for lunch afterwards - which I think speaks for the fun nature of the tour.

A great way to get a first impression of the history of East Berlin, while getting exercise and really feeling a part of the city! Our guide Sarah spoke wonderful english without a heavy accent and taught us a lot. All kudos to her! You do need comfortable shoes though and walk fairly fast. There is time to take pictures, but if that is really your 'thing' as it is mine, I suggest to go back the next day and also go inside various buildings. With this tour, you won't enter any sights. Great value for money! And good weather obviously helps.

This tour, led by Arthur, was really great. Arthur succeeded to share their passion for history with the whole group, explaining very well Berlin's, Germany's and Europe's history mainly from the 19th to the 21st century, while sharing anedoctes as well as various myths. In addition, Arthur made it very interactive with the group. Thank you, we spend a really nice moment ! And we of course recommend Arthur's tour through Berlin.

Excellent tour. Greger was a very good tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and funny. He kept telling us interesting stories along the walking. The tour actually was very educational. We enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommended.

Our knowledgeable tour guide, Amanda. So much knowledge in such a young person. The ability to involve her tourists in her presentation The monuments, the architecture, the varied history. The contribution of and destruction by the leadership of Prussia and subsequent Germany. I am a retired teacher of Renaissance through modern European history. This tour allowed me to actually see and contact the history I taught. A once in a lifetime experience.

Jake, the guide, was very good. He obviously loves his job. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The only problem we had was keeping up. He walks kind of fast. But overall it was a good and educational tour

Having overheard a few other tours in the city I was worried about having a dry, formal school like lecture with walking. I needn’t have worried! Our guide (Lewis) made the tour fun, energetic, emotional and for once in my life I’ve actually retained a few historical facts! I am so happy I booked this tour. My only advisory would be that the tour doesn’t end near where you start, so plan ahead how to get back.

Our guide Rohan was trained in theater, which made his narration of German history in Berlin entertaining as well as enlightening. His clear explanation of the development of one social/political/economic movement to the next clarified and consolidated my previously meager knowledge of Berlin history. Admittedly this had come mostly from WW II and spy novels and movies. Rohan kept up a lively pace over the course of 4 hours, but frequent stops made it doable for elderly participants like us. The group was relatively large (about 22) but we were all able to hear his descriptions and ask questions without the aid of listening devices. This was clearly the best tour in our trip to this part of Germany.

Jasper was a very good guide. Informative plus a sense of humour. Recommended. Highlights included the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, and the car park now covering the site of Hitler's bunker. Plus a very good comfort break and coffee stop.

Our guide Jonathan was very insensitive, didn't wait for the all the members of the group to reach a spot for starting his commentary. The info points at the sites probably had more information than what he was saying.

Great value to gain insight on German History, locations to go back and spend more time to understand world events. Rebecca was excellent in knowledge, extra effort answering questions and providing valuable insights and facts.

Rebecca as a guide was fantastic- knowledgeable, balanced, and insightful while describing many different times of turmoil in the history of Berlin.

Chris from Canada was our tour guide and I just have to say he was great. He was friendly, he talked and we all listened. He made history fun cracking a few jokes here and there. I felt like he did not push the tour to hurry up like most tour guides do. I would recommend this tour to anyone it is a great price, good tour guide, and the locations are a must see in Berlin. FYI the meeting spot is so easy to spot right by Starbucks and they also have a sign outside just incase your not 100% sure.
