George was an enthusiastic, cheerful and knowledgeable tour host. We were provided with a Prague food map. Our food tour started with Kolacherie - introduction to Kolache, a Czech sweet. I especially like the Kolache with poppy seed. The next stop is at Sisters for “open”sandwhiches - canape on bread with either pepper spread or potato salad and ham. Visting Prague requires a beer tasting stop and we had this at Lokal - a beer place frequented by locals. George provided valuable insights on beer - different types - quality of foam, need for beer glass to be kept cold, etc. The bar chow accompanying our beer was fantastic - particularly the steak tartare,with fried bread/garlic and spiced cheese. The last stop was at an elegant Cafe Imperial restaurant serving Czech speicals - Kuljada - dill soup with poavhed eggs and mushroom and Svickova - beef tenderloin with dumplings (which is a kind of bread unlike Asian dumplings). It was excellent introduction to Czech food, culture and history - informative and lots of fun! Certainly recommend this for first time visitors to Prague like my family!

My experience with Prague Food Tour was excellent from beginning to end. Booking was very easy through the web site as well as direct email communication after initial inquiry. Our tour was with Leona who guided our group of 4 to 4 locations to taste the flavors of the Czech Republic which included soups, sweets, dumplings, fried cheese and of course different beers and beverages. It was fun to discuss what we liked most which was different for each person. Leona shared with us not only information about the food we were eating but of the locations we went to and their significance as well as general information about Prague and the Czech people. She was warm and friendly and each place we visited had a reserved table for our group. We never felt rushed and had plenty to eat. This tour was a highlight of a 4 day trip to Prague.

George also provided a ton of history about Prague and the Czech Republic, giving recommendations for additional places to try during the rest of our stay. We had an exceptional food tour! George took us to 5 quintessential Czech food and beer stops, each a special place in the history of Prague. We learned the history of the Czech Republic from George, an excellent storyteller and historian. We enjoyed tasting all the different foods, sampling beers, and the walking tour of Prague. We have participated in many food tours around the world and this is one of the best. I highly recommend this activity.

This tour was wonderful! It was intimate in the sense that you were not only tasting the local food, but also learning about Czech Republic’s history from a local. Our tour guide was Jiří, and he was amazing!! As someone who doesn’t drink beer, there were some really great alternative drinks to try, such as raspberry lemonade with a bit of beer inside. Delicious!🍻

Leona should teach a master class on how to be a tour guide. From the minute you meet her, you know it's going to be a great trip; she's welcoming and curios, and she knows just how to get a group of strangers to bond without forcing it. It was just the right level of facts, history, food and casual discussion, and I left the tour feeling full and satisfied without feeling like I needed a nap. This is a perfect way to start your discovery of Prague because she gives you a great foundation to understand the food, culture, history and different neighborhoods. Definitely the best tour I've been on and best guide I've had. 10/10 recommend!

We had Leona all to ourselves on our tour. She's an intelligent, charming & beautiful young woman that shared the history, culture and absolutely wonderful food of the Czech Republic. We didn't bother with dinner that evening we were so satiated. My wife & I have no hesitation in recommending this tour. It was an excellent way to start our Prague visit - much more informed than we were before meeting Leona!

We took this tour during our last day in Prague. It was absolutely amazing! Not only did we eat and eat and eat some more, our minds were nourished as well. Leona was our guide and did a wonderful job in planning our stops and pacing our food consumption. Her command of English was excellent. During the 3+ hours, we went to five different charming restaurants/bakeries and had rolls with walnuts, fried cheese, potatoes in ash, smoked fish in a wild garlic soup and lots and lots of other Czech food and drink specialties (beer and alcohol) as well. Our last stop was for apricot sweet dumplings. OMG! Unbelievable. We learned a lot about living in the Czech Republic under communism. You can read about it in a book, but sitting face to face with someone who has actually been there is a whole different experience. Leona was forthcoming and we left with a better understanding of what its like to live there. Do not hesitate to book the Scrumptious Food Tour!

We had the best time, Christmas Day 2023, with Leona from Prague Food Tour. We knew we wanted to do something special for Christmas and this food tour was perfect. The food tour made the day festive and it was wonderful to share the day with other travelers. There was no need for presents with our travels; this experience was our "gift." She is so knowledgeable and we enjoyed the background story on the food, culture, people and history of Czech Republic. The food and drinks were delicious! We were glad we had to walk some because there was so much food. Our fellow travelers, all happened to be from various parts of the US and we enjoyed sharing the tour with them. We appreciated Leona sharing Christmas Day with us and we found out that Christmas Eve is the big day of celebration for many Czechs. No matter when you visit Prague, I would highly recommend this tour.

From the minute we enquired about the Prague Food Tour, Leona was so efficient and got back to us straight away and was great at communicating about any questions we had before arriving in Prague. She even sent us tips about Prague, areas to visit, restaurants, cafes, which we found very useful for our trip and helped us decide what to do. There were only 6 people on our tour and they were all great company, it was really good fun. Its one of the most expensive food tours we have done (we love to do a food tour wherever we go) but honestly, it was worth every penny. We visited four places in total and had around 10 lots of food with a great variation of starters, mains and puddings, plus wine & beer, coffee all included. We were very full! It was first class, not rushed at all and Leona's history & knowledge of the city was absolutely fantastic and this really added to our experience. We can highly recommend it.
