We had the best day with Maria (aka JLo!) She was amazing & took us to the best spots for shopping, dining & photo ops! This tour was my favorite due to her sparkling personality, the breathtaking sights, incredible history & delicious food! If you book with Rome in Limo in Naples, request Maria. She is awesome!

Absolutely amazing and stress-free trip! Our tour guide Giovanni made us feel welcome and safe. He provided relevant information about the history of the places we visited, and went out of his way to take us to shops and restaurants less traveled by. In Positano, he took us to a restaurant and spoke to the staff that treated us like celebrities. If you want a trip that is stress-free, avoids the usual tourist traps, and has a guide that has your best interest in mind, then do not hesitate to sign up with this company! We also used them to tour Sicily, and Luca, our guide there, gave us the same exact caliber experience. He went so far as to stop in a local pastry shop and order cannolis for my family which I honestly have to say put the ones I have had in New York to shame!

We used Rome in Limo in 2015 to tour Rome and once again, they did not disappoint! This time, we were greeted by David at the Port of Naples for a day-long adventure in Sorrento and Pompei. David was knowledgeable, entertaining and very interested in making sure our tour was everything we wanted. I can't thank Jany enough helping us book this tour and secure us a private guide for Pompeii. It was so worth having someone knowledgeable to help us make the most of our time there. I would recommend Rome in Limo to anyone in need of a private Italian tour!

Fantastic experience all around with Rome In Limo. We used them for a private tour in Rome while on a Med cruise in 2014. After such a wonderful experience back then, we knew they were who we wanted to book with while on our 2023 cruise. I booked a private tour of Positano, Sorrento, and Pompei. All communication was prompt, responsive, and courteous - thank you, Jany! Alex was our driver for the day and we was great! He lives locally and is so knowledgeable and passionate about the area. We met Alex right outside the cruise port in Naples and headed to Positano first to try and beat the crowds. He stopped a few times along the way at overlooks so we could get some great family photos. We had about an hour in Positano on our own. Next, we headed to Sorrento. We had about 1 1/2-2 hours on our own there and Alex gave us a great recommendation for a sit down lunch spot - fantastic pizza, pasta, and caprese! Our last stop was Pompei, where we had arranged through RIL to have a private guide, Rosemary, who took us through the ruins. I definitely recommend paying the extra $ to get the guide in Pompei so you know where to go and really get to learn about the history. Alex got us back to the ship with ample time before the all aboard call and he even gave us a bottle of limoncello. Great experience - highly recommend!

We had a great trip with Maria. We were able to tweak our agenda and we started the day in Positano which was great as we were able to miss some of the major traffic on the Amalfi Coast. We then made our way to Sorrento where Maria showed us around and found the BEST pizza we have ever had. Given our desire to see the towns we opted to skip Pompei which was a better choice for our family. Everything was just right and made for a memorable day.

On May 24, 2023, We did Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius and Sorrento Tour. Alex was our driver. Alex was able to adjust our tour because of traffic to make the most of our time and make our trip more enjoyable! We had a private tour guide for Pompeii, Rosemary. She was very knowledgeable and made our tour much more interesting. She was well worth the extra money we paid to have a private guide. At the end of our day, Alex, our driver surprised us with a gift of a bottle of Limoncello! We were blown away at his kindness! All in All, I can't say enough good things about Rome in Limo! I would absolutely use them again in the future!

Wonderful day tour of Pompei and the Amalfi coast! Danie was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking to see the sites at Pompei, but also want to experience a bit of the Amalfi coast and only have a day to do so.

Rome in Limo was awesome, driver was on time friendly and helpful with getting us from site to site, he even took is to a really nice restaurant for lunch. Our experience with Rome in Limo was top notch from start to finish. Jany in the office was extremely helpful in making our booking and answering our questions. When we got off the ship in Naples, Giovanni was there waiting for our party of eight. Giovanni was extremely friendly and made us feel at ease right away. He knew some great spots to pull over for photos and gave us a good introduction to the area. We enjoyed our stops in Sorrento and Positano, and Giovanni recommended a restaurant in Positano with a phenomenal view. Our third stop was Pompeii, where we got a guided tour from Rosemary. Rosemary was very engaging and informative. Giovanni got us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. The whole experience was wonderful, much more engaging and affordable than the large organized shore excursions offered by the cruise ship. I would highly recommend Rome In Limo to anyone looking for personalized small group tours!

Our driver was very prompt, the vehicle was very clean and comfortable and our guide was great about taking us to the best spots that wouldn’t be as populated with tourists so we could get great pictures. I definitely recommend!

We booked 2 day trips with Romeinlimo and they where both AWESOME! The drivers (Franchesco & Vinny) were very professional. They were punctual. They spoke English very well. They knew the cities and their history. We also had a guide when we went to the Vatican and she was the best (Gulia), I would definitely hire them again when we return to Italy. For now Ciao

We were on a European cruise on Norwegian Epic and decided to book our tours with an independent company rather than through the ship and that's how we found Rome in Limo. Our main concern was making sure that we got to the ship on time and they assured us that if we did what the driver said that we would not have any problems. We decided to go ahead and book and booked the three port package (Naples, Rome and Florence) which was much cheaper than booking through the ship. We are so happy that we did. Our driver Alex was there when we got off the ship and took us to Positano, where we had the opportunity to walk down to the beach and the shops (this would not have been possible on the a large tour bus, as we understood buses are not allowed down into Positano). He then took us to Sorrento where we had an opportunity to walk around and had lunch at La Basilica, a restaurant that he recommended. The food was fantastic however the service was a bit slow because a tour bus came while we were there and it didn't appear that they were staffed properly to handle all the people. He then took as to Ponpeii where we met up with our guide Rosemary (additional fee) who took as through. She was amazing, so much knowledge and really added to our experience much more so than had we gone on our own. The other thing that we especially liked was that the tour was private for just the 4 of us (two couples). We had the more flexibility in terms of where to go and how long to stay than we would have if we were on a bus with a lot of people. As I said, we used them for our other ports and had the same experience. Luciano in Rome again was amazing and made sure we saw all of the sites, coliseum, trevi fountain, Vatican etc. Again we had a guide in the Vatican, Barbara who was also extremely knowledgeable and able to get us through the lines and crowds. He joined us for lunch at Trattoria Luigi, his recommendation and again we were not disappointed with his recommendations of both the restaurant and the food choices. In Florence our driver was Mauro and he too did not disappoint. Too bad he could not have done something about the rain!! Our overall experience with Rome In Limo was fantastic and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. As a matter of fact I already have as well as to our travel agent.

Constantine was an amazing guide! The 4 of us that went on the excursion all agreed that this was one of our favorite experiences. Constantine also got us a guide for Pompeii and she was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this excursion. I really don’t know how it could have been better.

Alex picked the 5 of us (Adult friends) up at our hotel in Naples, and drove up the mountainous road to Bomerano, where we hiked the Path of Gods. When we were done with the hike (more strenuous than we thought), Alex was thankfully waiting in Nocelle with plenty of water and cool AC in the car. On Alex's recommendation, we then stopped at a lovely family restaurant (da Costantino) set high above Positano. This stop was just what we needed at this time: the owner took care of everything, and we just sat and enjoyed. The bruscetta and the homemade lemoncello were among the highlights, but the entire meal was fresh and fantastic. After lunch, Alex took us to Sorrento -- one of the highlights of our 2-week trip. After a short tour around the town, we walked through the shops and restaurants. Overall, Alex was entertaining, funny, flexible and provided a full day of enjoyment. We would highly recommend Rome In Limo.

I have used them 4 times in the last 3 years there drivers are great and the guides are also very good. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We can’t thank Alessandre enough for such a wonderful day in Naples. He picked us up promptly with a huge smile on his face, whisked us off to Sorrento for some shopping and a quick latte. We had been to Naples before so we kind of adjusted our tour to our own desire. Alessandre was very knowledgeable, really friendly, and by the end of the tour he was like a friend of the family that we were just visiting. He was very helpful with my elderly parents, and took us to Vesuvius cantina and winery for lunch and a wine tasting. A must for any visitor, as it was a nice break in the day after Pompei tour. The great thing about Rome in Limo is that they are able to get you closer to the pertinent sites than a tour bus could ever do. But more importantly, they are so professional and personal. I recommend requesting Alessandre as he was perfect. Love this company as we used them for all 3 stops on our cruise. Do it!!! You won’t regret it.

We had a very positive experience using Rome in Limo tours at 3 cities during our 7 day Mediterranean 3 cruise. The drivers and cars provided were excellent. Drivers were personable and knowledgeable and efficient in getting us around given the limited time we had at each porch. Also much cheaper for our group of 7 to use a private car and driver than book the cruise excursions (which would also have been on a large tour with other random cruise travelers)

From the time of booking with Jany to the time of the excursions, everything went smoothly and as planned. The drivers/guides were excellent! We actually did 2 excursions with them while being on a 7 day cruise. I highly recommend this company.
