It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Andres was a really nice man. He was vey knowledgeable about Iceland and knew a lot about the history of the Golden Circle. The tour was by very special. The operator was Mercury Grail and Andres is the Manager . He took us to the Blue Lagoon. He was patient and allowed us to take our time. It was a very personalised tour just me my husband and our two children and Andres. It was snowing during the G/C tour but he took his time to drive and we felt very safe. I would recommend you try it.

One of the best tours I have ever been on! My wife and I traveled to Iceland to celebrate her birthday. Absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. Recently went on the private day tour and had a wonderful time. Andreas was incredibly knowledgeable about the area as well as the local history and mythology of Iceland. Organising it was a breeze with excellent communication from the business. I really appreciated him going above and beyond, to make sure my mother who is an older woman was comfortable the whole time. We saw some excellent sights, took a walk by the tectonic plates, and visited a fantastic ice cream shop. Best of all we were allowed to move at our own pace and never felt rushed or intruded upon. Will definitely book again the next time I'm in Iceland. One side note I recommend booking directly via the website as you not only get a better deal but you can communicate directly and ensure you get exactly the tour you want.

This trip was awesome even though it was very cold and windy. The scenery was beautiful with the snow! Andres was so flexible and knowledgeable. He was able to change the itinerary because of the weather and it turned our trip into a wonderful day. Ending at the Blue Lagoon was perfect. If we get to come to Iceland again we will definitely go with Andres at Mercury Grail!

I want to thank Andres our tour guide for being so accommodating and caring towards our family. We came with our one year old son and he was very understanding and gracious. He knew all the best spots and was very easy to work with. We went to the blue lagoon the next day and he arranged something very special for us. We cannot thank him enough. We arrived super early from a long flight from the US. Andres made a customized tour to make sure we saw everything we wanted on our list with a nice relaxing end to the day at the Blue Lagoon. Mercury Grail (and owner Andres) is an outstanding private tour company. We designed a tour for our interests. We had an outstanding day, small crowds, and great weather. Thus, we were ahead of schedule but rather than taking us back early Andres added a visit to a geothermal plant we had interest in and a visit to the Perlan Museum. Andres was continually explaining the history of the area and the sites we visited which provided us with a deep understanding of what we saw. We were so glad we chose Mercury Grail and not another. We highly recommend them.

Secret Lagoon and tectonic plates were wonderful. Andres was fantastic and we would definitely call him again.

Andres was amazing from the beginning to the end. He came a pick us up on time. The driving was smooth even though the weather was not helping. He made sure we were comfortable during the whole trip. I travel with my daughter (7 years old) and my nice and he was always making sure that everybody was happy with the excursion. The weather was not the best, so he change part of the order so we could enjoy everything. He did some extra stops so we could take some amazing pictures and videos. I would recommend Andres and his tours to anybody that wants a very personal experience! You won’t regret it

My husband and I had the best time on our golden circle tour with Andres! He shared so much knowledge with us and was very accommodating during the duration of the trip! We caught all the sights and even had time to stop and see some Icelandic horses. Definitely a great way to check out the golden circle sights!

Fantastic day out. Andres is unbelievably knowledgeable about Iceland. We were treated to great facts and tips about all the sites and landscape and even elves! Our two days in Iceland were magical. So glad we picked a private tour with Andres. We did a 2 day tour that included the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, and the South Coast. He told us the story behind each site, stopped when we saw horses and sheep since he knew I was wild over both, let us start later on day 2 so we could sleep in a little later, and let us spend as much time as we wanted at each site. At the Black Beach he suggested we get coffee first and let the rain and clouds pass and he was right! as we caught a beautiful sunset. At each stop we saw folks herded on and off a coach bus and I am so glad we did not choose that route. I am also glad we chose not to drive as it allowed us to relax and enjoy the view. I highly recommend Andres. Thank you Mercury Grail for a wonderful trip.

Andres two day tour was fantastic. we were on a cruise ship that docked for 2 days so we had lots of time to see all the sites.Andres took us the oposite way the cruise ship tours went so we visited sites with out crowds also with his car we could travel on roads that the large buses could not go.The places we visited and the scenery made us think we were on another planet - just great. He was a super guide with lots of stories and historical knowledge. We would recommend this tour to all who would enjoy a private guided friendly tour.

Our day with Andres in Iceland was wonderful. I traveled with my mother, and 2 year old child, and Andres was very flexible and accommodating to our varied needs. He is very friendly, and knows a lot of interesting information about the places you visit. We saw so much in one day, and had an incredible time.
