Pompeii was amazing, also climbing to Vesuvio crater is unforgetable, Pickup was on time as planned, The trip is highly recommended

Amazing views, interesting places, Pompai is an enormus area a lot of food work, vesuvio you have to climb a little but not to much

I expect the view would have been fab - if there was one! Sadly we were in heavy mist. Ho-hum! The toilets in the lower shops are a disgrace. So much more could be developed to slicken up the venue with a visitor centre to be proud of. Pompii was great, and possibly deserves a whole day for itself. This trip maybe sounds like you are getting more than you actually do - you get a driver - not a guide. He was very accommodating and drove like the wind as they do which in itself is part of the experience, I feel. Advice: get a guide for Pompii, bring own water - you have to buy some at 2Eu (double) in order to use the disgusting loos at Vesuvius.

This was advertised as a tour but essentially it’s simply a driver. Antonio was nice but didn’t speak a word of English - everything was done via Google translate. The tour said English guide - no guide just a driver. We were picked up from our hotel, driven to Mt Vesuvius handed tickets, pointed in the direction to go then told where to meet the diver after we climbed the volcano. Next we were driven to Pompeii handed tickets again and told where to meet the driver after we’d finished. No guide, no direction from anyone regarding what to do, where to go???? Finally we were driven back to the hotel.

We had a lovely day and were really well taken care of by our guide. The climb up Mt. vesuvius was do worth it for the view. Pompeii is lovely to wander around and explore Our guide was a gentleman who took time to chat with us about the locality and give us a few hints and tips for places go see and where the best pizza is! He wasn't wrong. Definitely worth the money.

We were picked up by a guide meeting several others. We then made our way to Pompeii where we we divided into preferred language groups. The Pompeii tour was excellent. It lasted approximately 2 hours. We then went back to the restaurant to have pizza, gnocchi, or salad. The pizza was the best choice. Then met back up with others exploring Vesuvius. We all got a bus. The hosts covered English, Spanish, French, & Italian all on the same bus~it worked! We all got off, trekked up Vesuvius & made our way back with enough time. I think the most impressive was the thunderstorm at the top. We made it down in a timely manner, but some others got caught up in it. The care of the drivers to make sure everyone made it back onto the bus was wonderful. It was an extra 15 minutes, but it was great to see the concern and care the team took to get everyone back. All passengers understood of course because we all experienced the storms. Thank you for providing such a wonderful day and for excursion to us all!!!

Driver was punctual, helpful and informed clearly about pickup and dropoff points and times and connected with us the day before. Time at Vesuvius was about right. 3 hours at Pompeii was a bit long for the time of year. 7 hours tour round trip from Naples would have been suitable.

Our Driver was very friendly and warm. The drive to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius was smooth and timely. We finished early and he drove us back to our hotel early as well.

The tour was excellent. Picked up on time in a small group. Great driver took us first to Pompei. The tour guide was excellent. Then the driver took us to a vineyard for a wine tasting/lunch which was great. Then on to Vesuvius. The driver was knowledge and excellent. In all, a great day.

Giuseppe was amazing, he coordinated everything extremely well to make sure we had a great experience. He was on time and his driving and communication skills are very good. The lunch recommendation was fenomenal.

Gennaro was a lovely person but this tour is terribly inaccurate as well as not well run. They change the pickup time, halfway through the day you combine with a massive group of around 75 people, and the guides are not as knowledgeable or enthusiastic as others you will find along your tour. Not worth the money or the headache of a massive group (when it was advertised as smaller). Currently riding back to our hotel in some random van we met on the side of the road at the base of Vesuvius... after sitting there for 15 minutes, Gennaro called the names of 10 guests and had them leave "to be faster".

Just a great day, everything ran on time and we arrived swiftly and safely at each location. Couldn’t fault the whole experience and couldn’t recommend more for people wanting to wander and do their own thing at the locations

We had an amazing trip to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Giuseppe was our driver and he made our day perfect. We had great communication before the trip. He was flexible with our plans and made everything easy for us. He coordinated a private tour of Pompeii with the most fascinating tour guide Daniela. We learned so much from her and made the time fly. They suggested a wonderful little restaurant for lunch and then Giuseppe took us up to Mt Vesuvius to hike to the top. It was stress free for us because he had all our tickets and took care of us and was waiting when we returned. Highly recommend this tour and I would request Giuseppe and Daniela for the best experience!

Me and my family booked this tour because we came to Italy for a few days. We were very satisfied as the driver was on time, the transport convenient and clean, the guide safe advice for a family trip!

We could not fault Guiseppe and his team. They were accommodating when we increased our numbers and needed a bigger van, they set us up with a great and knowledgeable guide at Pompei and they drove us around Naples safely. Using Taxi Naples enabled us to create our own day trip that suited our needs and they did all the work to manage timings and a guide. We came off a cruise ship to find Vincenzo waiting with a smile. He had everything organised for us and went out of his way to tell us about any points of interest we passed. At Pompei, he introduced us to our guide (Ricccardo - a gentleman and great guide) and was waiting for us at the end of the tour. The drive to the start point of Vesuvius is very a bendy road and he drive beautifully - that is saying something for someone who gets car sick! Their pricing was reasonable and good value for money. Thanks for making our visit to Naples safe, informative and fun.

Bellissima giornata di sole. Brutta esperienza dapprima per il mancato prelievo presso l'albergo come concordato con l'operatore al momento della prenotazione e del pagamento. In alternativa ho chiesto il prelievo in un punto più vicino per esempio piazza Dante ma inutilmente. Per la visita agli scavi mancato affidamento a una guida nonostante mi fosse stato assicurato al momento del pagamento (260€ per due persone). Troppo poche due ore a disposizione per visitare Pompei se non si ha un precedente sopralluogo. Il personale dell'agenzia Aroundvesuvio.com poco disponibile e cortese. Escursione da non ripetere.

Wir waren zwei Personen und haben die Tour gebucht. Für uns war es wichtig, eine geführte Tour zu haben und uns um nichts kümmern zu müssen. Giuseppe hat sich einen Tag vor Abfahrt per Whatsapp gemeldet. Offenbar gab es Probleme mit der Teilnehmerzahl, weshalb er versucht unsere Tour zu verschieben, dies ging leider für uns nicht. Also hat er uns für 100€ Aufpreis eine Private Tour offeriert. Private Tour zu Vesuv und auf English geführte Tour durch Pompei - super!, dachte ich und akzeptierte 100€ Aufpreis. Am nächsten Morgen meldet sich Vincenzo per Whatsapp und holte uns pünktlich um 9:00 am vereinbarten Ort ab. Der Transporter war 5/5 und sauber. Vincenzo war sehr freundlich und fuhr uns zuerst zum Vesuv. Auf der Fahrt dorthin erklärte er uns einiges über die Inseln und was wir auf de Fahrt sahen. Beim Vesuv kümmerte er sich um unseren Eintritt, als das Internet bei uns dort versagte. Wir liefen als Paar zum Vesuv und hatten eine tolle Zeit - einen Guide gabe es nicht und brauchte es auch nicht. Anschliessend gingen wir zurück zum Transporter und Vincenzo fuhr uns nach einem Mittagessen (super Pizza!) nach Pompei, wo er uns die Tickets gab. Ich war etwas irritiert darüber, dass es keinen Guide gab und meldete mich bei Giuseppe. Er meinte, einen Guide könne ich Vorort für ca. 20€ pro Person nehmen. Da es eine App gab und ich nicht auf einen Guide warten bzw. einen organisieren wollte, gingen wir ohne. Tip: Die App mit dem Audioguide ist unbrauchbar. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Pompei und ich erkundigte mich bei Vincenzo per Whatsapp, wann wir zurück sein müssten. Er meinte in 40 Minuten. Sehr schade, aber es muss wohl so sein und wir waren nach 40 Mins zurück. Vincenzo war bereits da und fuhr uns sicher nach Hause. Um 15:36 waren wir am vereinbarten Ort und ich war etwas enttäuscht, dass wir länger in Pompei hätten bleiben können. Fazit: Für €360 gab es für uns folgendes: Organisation 5/5 Erreichbarkeit 5/5 Fahrt: 5/5 Auto: 5/5 Guide 0/5 (kein Guide) Zeitmanagement: 2/5 (6:36 Std statt ca. 8 Std.)

Je déconseille. Vendu comme guide alors qu'il s'agit d'un simple chauffeur. Aucune explication sur naples ou sur les sites que nous avons visiter. Nous avions réservé en français hors le chauffeur parlait uniquement anglais et italien. D'autre part l'annonce indiquait environ 8 h de visite. On nous a récupéré à 10h15 et retour 15h40 c'est à dire moins de 6h. On nous a avait donné 1h pour visiter chaque site (ce qui est vraiment trop peu) nous aurions aimé passé 2h sur chaque site et ainsi profiter des 8h payé. Avant la prestation nous avons essayé de changer l'horaire mais on nois a répondu que les billets étaient deja réservé. Nous aurions put annuler mais nous avons decider par correction de maintenir noyre réservation. enfin lorsque l on à fait part de notre expérience au tour opérateur. Aucune réaction (cela fait maintenant 1 semaine que lon a exprimé notre mécontentement. Nous aurions aimé des explications,des excuses et peut être un geste commercial mais rien). En bref une prestation peu souple mensongère et sans aucune considération apres vente. Un conseil passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre prestataire. Vous aurez peut être une meilleure prestation pour un meilleur prix
