Sam was an amazing tour guide and highly accommodative of any special requests! He was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and had a special book for additional detail. We saw all of the top animals and got to see a feeding frenzy with a load of lions and hyenas. Amazing experience!

We couldn't have had a better tour guide, 'Black Santa' was friendly and helpful and really told us a lot about the animals and made sure we had the best experience. He was flexible to our needs and wishes about toilet breaks, food and stopping for photos. He's excellent! (The only negative thing was the way to pay for the entrance fee to the lake, which is via an app. I had enough money on all my cards I tried 3 different cards entered all the information and it wouldn't let me confirm payment after confirming it with the banks. In the end our guide got the manager to send me a direct link which worked but that government payment site needs fixing. ) But apart from that difficulty, the experience was truly wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The optional boat trip is not to be missed, it was the best way to end the day and I we saw a number of animals up close.

Had an amazing trip to Nakuru and Lake Navaisha! My tour guide, known as Black Santa was great - very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and Kenya as a whole, and navigated the pretty crazy Kenyan roads very well. I saw so much wildlife - zebras (loads!), giraffes, buffalo, some flamingos (but a lot fewer than some pics on the internet show), rhinos and even some lionesses, among others, as well as lots of hippos on the Lake Navaisha boat ride. The drive to Nakuru was a little over three hours, but totally worth it. I was on such a high when I got back.

We had an excellent day around beautiful, peaceful Lake Nakuru. The national park offers much more than the famous flamingos; we saw plenty of wildlife while enjoying the surroundings. Samuel was a highly knowledgeable guide who really made an effort to give us the best possible wildlife sightings. The boat trip on Lake Naivasha was a pleasant change after many hours of driving. Also a great trip (and great guide) for bird lovers

It's a day trip from Nairobi. It's a 2 hour drive without traffic in the morning but 3.5 hrs with traffic returning back. our driver/guide Albert is very nice and knowledgeable. He was very through with animals and answered all our questions patiently. But don't go to Lake Nakuru with the intention of seeing thousands of Flamingos. Majority of them migrated to Lake Bogoria several years ago as per our guide due to change in water. Lake Bogoria is 100 Kms from Lake Nakuru and if you want to see thousands of Flamingo, you need to go there. We did see some Flamingos but also we did see a lot of black rhinos which are more in number than even Masai Mara. we also saw a lot of lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and pelicans

From start to finish had a great experience with Black Santa our tour guide… nothing was to much to ask of him…he made sure we had the best time ever and his knowledge of the areas and animals we visited on the day was first class…the boat ride around crescent island on lake Naivasha was well worth the extra payment as you got up close to the wonderful hippos and some great sights on the water and around the island… Chris our boat tour guide was amazing also with his local knowledge and knew all the best places to go on the lake… even got an eagle to flyover and pick up some fish he had thrown out the boat… was a fantastic sight. All in all had a great day out

We had a wonderful trip to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha where we had the pleasure of seeing black rhinos at Nakuru national park. Anthony was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who took great care of us and took the time to answer our questions and tell us about the lakes and the birds and animals that live around them. If you're planning to go on this tour, i would suggest taking a packed lunch so you can have more time in the national park.

Enjoyed this tour! Martin was a great guide, who knew every animal we encountered during the game drive. The trip itself is worthwhile, and A treat especially for birdwatching enthusiasts. Bring binoculars!

Antony was my driver and guide on that unforgettable day. We departed very early in the morning so we took the way easily. He is not just a simple driver and guide, much more because tell me some interesting facts about the animals what we saw. At lake naivasha there are just some flamingos but on the way back to Nairobi we speak a lot and answered all of my questions about the national colours, about student's life and everything that I saw on the road and want to know about Kenyan's life. All the best for you Antony and thanks your experienced guide.

Lake Nakuru is home to the pink flamingos and we certainly saw them on our late-September trip, even though many of them have migrated away. Besides the flamingos, we also saw antelops, zebras, buffalos and monkeys. We also visited Lake Naivasha. We had a below-average lunch at the resort restaurants (3300 KES for 2 people with no drinks). We also did a boat cruise. It was advertised as $50 but we were charged $60. On the cruise, we saw hippos and the boat operators routinely tempted the fish eagles to fly around by feeding them fish. Our driver Anthony was a good, safe driver - a valuable asset on the rough roads of Kenya - and was professional throughout. He helped us where he could and got us onto a private boat tour.

Anthony is a great tour guide. Really helpful & friendly. The most important thing is he cares . For instance, I left my sweater in the car after my day tour with him, he brought it back to me the very same night. & he is super accommodating, he drove me around in the city at night and found me a really nice local restaurant where I had the best Kenyan dinner of the trip. Highly recommend Anthony be your guide when you visit n Nairobi.

I could not fault the service provided by this company from the moment I booked to being dropped off at the end of the day. Samuel especially was amazing. Prior to picking us up at the hotel Samuel contacted us to inform us of his name, his contact number and confirming our hotel and pick up time. The next morning Samuel arrived promptly at 6am and was very friendly and welcoming. He drove us safely to Lake Nakuru and on the way was providing us with information about Kenya and the things we were seeing on the way. We stopped to take pictures at the Great Rift Valley and also have a comfort break. Once we arrived at the park Samuel was very informative about the animals. Samuel had a lot of patience with us and was dedicated to helping us locate the animals we really wanted to see. We saw lions, warthogs, rhinos, a hippo, and of course flamingos (to name a few). We were able to get relatively close to the flamingoes which was a bonus. After leaving Lake Nakuru we stopped for lunch at this little buffet place outside of the park. The staff there was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Following this we went to Lake Navaisha which was beautiful and very peaceful. Again the staff was very friendly and our boat ride guide, Isaac, was very warm and engaging when showing us around the lake. It was really nice to see all the hippos and the animals which access this area. This was a long and wonderful day which was worth every penny. We truly appreciate the time, effort and patience we were shown during this trip. Thank you Samuel and Perfect Safaris.

We've had great time, saw many animals and beautiful landscapes in Lake Nakuru National Park and on the Lake Naivasha boat tour. Samuel is a very good guide, we found him to be knowledgeable about the animals/birds, but also passionate. The communication with him was a pleasure (I asked many questions, many of pure curiosity and he always answered), looking out for us (safety, comfort, etc.).

Had a great time on this trip. Selestine was our guide and Anthony was our driver. We started in Nairobi and they were exactly on time for the hotel pick up. We drove to see a view of the Great Rift Valley which was really beautiful. The next stop was Nakuru National Park which was about 3 hours from Nairobi. This was our first experience with safari and it was really fun. The roof of the jeep opens up so you can better see the different animals and take pictures. Selestine and Anthony were really great about pointing out animals we never could have spotted on our own. We got extremely lucky and saw a lioness hunting warthogs! Anthony did a great job positioning the car so we’d get a good view of the lioness and Selestine told us some cool information about the animals. One note about Nakuru National Park- if possible, get your tickets ahead of time. We had an issue with the e-visa website while we were at the entrance and it took 30-40 minutes to get the tickets. Last stop for us was Lake Naivasha. This was also amazing! During the boat ride on the lake we saw 3 different pairs of hippos, a ton of different birds, zebra, and giraffe. Lastly, I want to give extra thanks to Anthony for the safe drive home - we had a big downpour of rain and he was able to drive us safely through it and back to the hotel.
