We had a lot of fun exploring Prizren, Kosovo. Our Tourguide Mario, was professional, very knowledgeable and had an awesome passion for history! He took us to all the spots and showed us around the beautiful city. Due to some unforeseen situation, our return home was delayed, which we didn’t mind. We enjoyed the opportunity to explore more, sit at a cafe and have ice cream and exchange experiences. If you’re in Tirana and have time, we highly recommend this tour. It’s a long day but Mario took very good care of us. This is a journey we will remember and treasure forever!

We have the pleasure of joining our wonderful guide Gentjan, and to be honest he made it special, doubling our enjoyment in the day. We were Whatsapped, before the day and collected on time. Throughout the door our guide was so friendly and attentive, and openly shared his knowledge and personal experience. We really recommend this tour. Please be aware at Prizren the monastery is up a steep hill so perhaps not ideal for elderly or those with health conditions. In pace, we spent more time in the town. Gentjan was without doubt of the finest guides we have known.

We had great time in beautiful Prizren. Our tour guide Anna was really friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the history of Albania and Kosovo as well as giving us some other great tips for our stay. She also stopped to let us take some photos at beauty spots she suggested on the way there and back.

Excellent tour guide. Gjergj was probably the most knowledgeable guide I’ve encountered in over 25 years of traveling. The ride was comfortable and our guide shared his knowledge of the local regions as well as his life experiences growing up in Albania. Prizren itself was fascinating and full of surprises, Gjergj pointed out lots of sites that weren’t on the itinerary which felt like a valuable bonus. The walk through town and hike up to the castle is a bit of a workout but manageable if you pace yourself. Gjergj is also a friendly and thoughtful guide. If you get a chance to take a tour with him I’d say definitely go for it, especially if you want to learn about Albania and it’s people

Pick up was easy & on time. The car was all electric & spacious. Our driver & guide was Gjergj & he was great from the start. Very informative & knows a great deal about his country & Kosovo. The drive to Kosovo was made easier with Gjergj enthusiasm. Having him as our guide was such a great deal being able to speak English fluently (he lived in California for number of years) & to communicate with the locals in Kosovo effectively. Aside from showing us Prizren tour itinerary he also gave us some bonus spot to see. He cares & is conscientious about his tour participants well- being. I had a wonderful experience travelling to Prizren, Kosovo, on a private day trip from Tirana. It was easy to organise the trip online, Sirma was quick to reply all my enquires. Dritan, my tour guide and driver was punctual, he drove with caution and safety. On the way we stopped for a coffee and toilette. Dritan is an awesome guide, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prizren is a lovely city, it is really worth to visit. I did this trip alone and found it perfect! I was lucky that on the day, there was a folkloric festival in Prizren, so the city was so lively, with kids wearing traditional clothes and playing and dancing local música. It was a great day and I really recommend to do this day trip with Choose Balkans.

Fantastic from start to finish. I don’t know what I was expecting from this trip but this exceeded everything I could have hoped for. Tony was a great, fun tour guide. We were comfortable throughout the long drive and felt very safe while driving despite being not used to how they drive here. He was personable but also informative. He told us so much about not only Kosovo but all of the Balkans. The scenery en route was breathtaking. We had lots of fun and lots of laughs! Thank you all again for making this trip a really memorable one!

It was April and there was snow on the ground :(. I have to preface this review with this fact because it would have be even more amazing if it were warm or hot. Long drive but once you are at the spots, then there is much to see. John kept me entertained and got me there and back safely. I'm glad I went with Choose Balkans, especially with Sirma with her persuasiveness!

On the day of the tour, Eri, our driver-tour guide, was punctual. He was a superb guide showing us places of interest whilst on the road. He was flexible allowing a slight detour of the itinerary and that's highly appreciated. Note: I joined a small group tour comprising Eri, 2 ladies I just met and me. At the conclusion of the tour, we all became friends.

I had a really nice experience. The guide is super lovely and has vast knowledge about the history and local culture which made the experience rich. He also was very punctual, arrived at the agreed time, and drove with caution and safety. The walking tour to the Prizren castle was quite interesting. The city has a vibrant centre with excellent restaurants.

I really enjoyed my tour of Prizren, Kosovo. Defrim was a fantastic guide. He had an impressive knowledge of the regional history going back to ancient times and I learned a lot. In addition he was lively and full of positive energy. The tour was a 2 hour plus drive from Tirana and rest assured you will get a break during the drive. I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Albania. Im so glad and highly recommend spending some time to visit Kosovo. My day trip was so informative and loved the drive which was mostly scenic. Prizren itself is lovely and very interesting history, along with great views from the fortress. Choose Balkans and my guide Armando were very professional and great communicators. I appreciated Armando's passion for history and learned more in a few hours with him than on the entire week on my own! His explanations were clear and relevant to the sites we were visiting. He was very knowledgeable and felt safe with him as a solo traveler. I loved my interaction with Sirma and the Choose Balkans team. They were very professional and sent me all the information that i needed. They had good follow up and sent messages over Whatsapp confirming pick up time and all details without my having to ask.
