Out guide Mr. Adel was so knowledge and informative. We had a lot of fun exploring around Saqqara, learning about Memphis and spending time around Giza pyramids and the Sphinx. Mr. Adel helped us get some great photos too.!

We only had one day in Cairo and wanted to make the most of it. Mr Adel was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was amazing having someone with us that could bring thousands of years of history to life, and structure the day so that we got the most out of our time. It is impossible not to be humbled at both the scale of the pyramids, and the almost inconceivable age of the structures that have outlasted multiple empires. Again, Adel struck a wonderful balance of being there for our many questions, whilst also giving us space at the right moments to feel the splendour of the places and artefacts we visited. You will struggle to find a better or more lovely guide in all of Egypt, and he also helped us with the remainder of our trip and also gave wonderful recommendations for lunch and dinner. Our tour with Adel, an fantastic Egyptologist, was incredible! He knew everything about the pyramids and the Sphinx, and his way of explaining things made us feel like we were stepping back in time. It wasn’t just facts and dates; it was like listening to exciting stories from the past. Adel was super friendly and gave us some excellent local tips. Honestly, if you’re heading to see the pyramids, having someone like Ahmed as your guide makes all the difference. He’s passionate, knowledgeable, and just a great person to be around.

Incredible way to see the pyramids, such knowledgeable guide and very friendly, answered all the questions we had. Helped us organise the tour in Luxor also, sorted our transfers to and from the hotels and tour pick ups. 100% recommend!

This is my first time to Egypt, but I only had a few days to see some sights. I needed tours to be well organized and top quality. Mission accomplished! Excellent day I will never forget.

We spent two days with our guide. He was very knowledgeable. He helped negotiate when wanting to buy things from the locals. Would recommend for others. Although it’s warm in July it was very manageable and less crowds made for a nice experience.

Adel was wonderful with my young son and we both enjoyed a full day tour! He was very knowledgeable and you can tell he enjoys what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone for Giza and Saqara. His driver was also very safe and again great with children.

We (two friends spending two days in Cairo) booked a guide from Egypt Select Tours for a day. Best decision to make there! Adel came to pick us up at the airport with a private driver, proposed several alternatives for what to do and was very friendly. Most of all, we were really impressed as we didn't know at all what kind of “guide” we'd get: he is an Egyptologist and really knows what he's talking about. He was responsible for restauration work at several sites and was actually greeted by many people like a well respected person at the Memphis site he took us to. He could answer all questions we had, practical or related to what we were visiting, advised on tips, local customs, where to buy/not to buy stuff, etc. — really impressed. We've been thinking what we could have organized on our own had we had no guide: no way we'd have had such an informative day. From 9am to 4pm, we drove through Cairo, went to the Giza pyramids, got into one, had a camel ride to reach the sphinx, went to a place to see how papyrus is made, had lunch in a nice restaurant, went to Memphis and finally went to Saqqara.

Having such a great tour guide allowed the experience to be as immersive as possible. Was able to visit lots of places at a pace that suited us with the guide working around that. Was able to gain new knowledge from this experience and would highly recommend for tjose interested in Egyptians/pyramids or want a new immersive holiday experience!

During our amazing visit to Cairo we travelled with our fantastic guide Adel. We went to several locations and he brought them to life with his knowledge and experience of the area. I can honestly say without Adel and his expertise we would not have had the trip that we did. I cannot recommend him enough, he really is the best. Looking forward to planning our next trip to Egypt, which would have not been possible without Adel and his team.

We had two days tour with Adel and it was for sure the best way to get to know Cairo and it’s beauty. (Pyramids and Memphis and day 2: Museum/ Coptic Cairo/market). Besides all his knowledge and detailed explanation, he was adapting the tour to our intentions and showing us places we would never go by ourselves. The lunch on the second day was a real local experience!!! The role two days tour was real especial and uniq experience. We booked this tour through the hotel. Adel showed us the pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara. He was very knowledgeable and explained us everything! He was very polite, friendly and helpful. We had a great time with him. Unfortunately he could only make it the first day, since he was booked the day after. I am sure that the tour in Cairo city would have been amazing with him.

We had an amazing day with Yusuf! He took us to all the pyramids by car, and without him it would be hard to do all that by public transport. He was friendly and ready to answer all of our questions! It would have been an underwhelming and short experience if we did not have access to all of this rich information he provided to us! Along with the ancient history of the pyramids, we appreciated him talking to us to us about the history of Cairo and Egypt. He also gave us some moments to wonder by ourselves and we felt he struck the right balance of guidance and wondering time. The driver was really great too.
