It was an amazing experience. Everyone involved was so happy and accommodating. It was on the milder end of a 3 but it was so much fun. I can’t wait to do other tours with this team.

We did the Rafting Class III Tour and it was really exciting! The guides were very nice and even when the river was a bit rough we felt super secure all the time. It was a fun experience with a nice lunch on top, we definitely recommend it.

We went on the brilliant one day jungle and canoeing trip with Gregory, who was an excellent guide. Spotted lots of wildlife - birds, monkeys, snake, frogs - and really enjoyed learning about jungle plants and Kichwa way of life

My brother and I did a 3-day excursion with Jose (which included Candurumy Lodge and Misahualli). With the help of joint preparation involving the entire crew, we were able to customize the trip (at no additional cost) for 3 wonderful days thanks to the friendly crew and hospitable local Kichwa family members. We would like to thank the whole crew, who entertained us the whole day and took very good care of us, and we hope they will continue to make other people as happy as we were.

Completely recommended! Such a fantastic way to spend a day. We did the Grade 4, which was SUCH a beautiful route through a jungle canyon. Nice mix of gentler rapids and challenging ones, not to mention opportunities to jump off rocks, duck under waterfalls, swim and have a really tasty lunch. And the crew were just wonderful and lovely, which was really made the experience for us ♥️.

My wife and I did the jungle/rafting tour with Raft amazonia. We spent two days with Jose exploring lagoons, waterfalls, and hiking. On our final day we rafted 27km with Byron l, Leondro, and Ruby. Each night we stayed in local lodges and had delicious food. I highly recommend this agency for adventures if you're in Tena and want rafting or a guide in the jungle.

Had an amazing day on the river with our fantastic guide Byron. We were the only 2 people on the trip that day so we ended up with a private river tour which was lovely. The sights were beautiful and the whitewater was great even though we were there during the low season (we didn't realize that until we started the tour). The lunch was also really good. It was really interesting to learn about the gold mining on the river and all of the destruction that is occurring due to the illegal mining by Chinese foreigners, I could tell that this was very upsetting to our guides so I asked lots of questions about it, and learned about the Ecuadorian River Institue (ERI) which is fighting (unsuccessfully) against this destruction of local habitat. 10/10 recommend this tour, and I also recommend checking out the ERI for more info on how we can conserve our limited water resources.

An amazing rafting company with amazing guides. My husband and I have white water rafted a few different places (eg Gauley in West Virginia, Costa Rica) and really enjoyed hitting class III and IV with Raft Amazonia. They picked us up at our lodge and also brought us back. Our guide Jose went through all the safety rules in detail and checked to make sure all our equipment was on correctly and secure. The lead kayaker and photographer came up and introduced himself (Leandro) which was really nice. Both Leandro and Jose were so personable and warm , and a lot of fun. We knew from the start it was going to be a great day. We hit some great class III and IV rapids, floated and swam in areas along the way, Leandro took so many action photos, and we had lunch at one of the communities along the way. I even bought a few bracelets from the local community women that had stands set up on the beach. Such an amazing experience. By the end of the trip I felt we rafted with friends for the day. I highly recommend Raft Amazonia.

Fantastic, highly recommended!! I did the day trip level 3 rafting; it was my first time rafting. The guides Vladimir, Leandro and Clayton were all excellent. I joined a group to do this activity. It was the absolute highlight of my time in Tena. I wanted to book the level 4 rafting as soon as I finished, as I had thoroughly enjoyed the trip, but there wasn't one scheduled in the next couple of days, so I will do it next time I'm in Tena :) I would really advise anyone to do this rafting with Raft Amazonia as they were so professional but also fun. They sent us all a link to the photos and videos afterwards, which our Safety Kayak guide Leandro had kindly taken. All in all, a brilliant experience:)

We did the three day rafting and jungle combination tour. We got to do so much more than was listed in the description online. The rafting trip had amazing scenery and lunch was delicious. The rapids were intense and a lot of fun! The next day we rappelled up four small waterfalls which was exhilirating and an experience none of us had ever done before. Finished the day at a beautiful watering hole. The last day we did a boat trip around a lagoon that we hiked through and got to see some monkeys. We ended with a trip to a cultural center where we learned more about the indigenous people who live in the area (Quichua). Our guide Jose was outstanding and knew so much about the animals, plants, and area because he is from there so he has a relationship with everyone. What you get for the price is amazing. I highly recommend this tour company. Lean into being pushed out of your comfort zone and obviously don't expect to be staying in a five star hotel. Also the homemade local meals we ate were delicious! My favorite part was getting to eat cacao fruit picked fresh off the trees!

Just came back from a half day tour going to the Pimpilala waterfalls and the Laguna Azul. Gregory, our guide, was fantastic and thankfully spoke very good English, since our Spanish is not very good. He was very knowledgeable, and really managed to tell us a lot about the local area, the people, and their traditions. It was an enjoyable day overall and well worth the money. We sincerely appreciated Gregory and his coworkers, who helped us over the rocks, through the river, up the cascade, and back down again. I have a bit of a back problem and they were aware of it, so they took extra care to make sure that I was safe. They were very accommodating, changing plans at the last minute for us. Originally we were going to take a longer walk after the waterfall to see a more secluded lagoon, but because they could see I was having mobility issues after the first hike they suggested we go to the Blue lagoon instead. While the Laguna Azul is a little more touristy it was absolutely fine with us for a nice dip at the end of the day. We went to one of the upper pools and had it all to ourselves. Then they took the other two girls for a walk down by the river well I relaxed in a hammock with a much needed cerveza. The pickup and drop off at our Airbnb went perfectly. They even went out of their way and took us to a couple of stores on the way home. We all had cameras, but they also took lots of pics. We exchanged contact info and they will be forwarding them to us. I'm sure they've got some great ones that we didn't have the opportunity to take while we were in the water. Another thing I found impressive was that the business owner followed up with me almost immediately after we were dropped off to see if we enjoyed ourselves. In fact, communication throughout was great. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any trips I wanted to take in Tenna.

Juan and Leandro were great guides for our two days. The waterfall trip was better than we expected. It was the right choice for an adventurous family. Climbing the waterfalls was fun and Juan shared local information along the way. The fish plate lunch was wonderful. Unfortunately the lagoon was not accessible due to weather, but it didn’t take away from our first adventure. The second day Raft Amazonia recommended rafting. The water was rough but we felt safe. It was a great idea to bring the kayak and SUP along. The teens really enjoyed the time in the kayak with Juan and Leandro (more than the raft). Lunch was good for a riverside picnic near some indigenous craft sellers. Overall two great days and I would highly recommend to others.

We had a super fun and safe rafting experience with Isaac and Leandro! We left Tena at 9am and were back at around 3pm. It was our first time rafting and we absolutely loved it. We had a safety briefing before we started and during our time on the water Isaac always made sure that we were safe. He also made sure that we didn't get too tired, letting us rest our arms in between the rapids. Lunch was delicious. The pictures we received at the end were fantastic. 100% recommend and would do it again 😊

Great day rafting the Jatunyacu river class III with Raft Amazonia. There were only two of us but still had a super time - Gregory and Leandro were very friendly and looked after us well. They have quality, safe equipment, start with a thorough safety briefing and also use a safety kayaker as well as the guide on the raft. Extremely large and tasty lunch included and pickup/dropoff at our hotel was super smooth. Very easy to communicate via WhatsApp too and their office is in central Tena. The kayaker also doubles as a photographer and you get sent all the photos and videos on Google Drive afterwards! Be advised the trip is a long one and the sun can be very fierce, so would recommend long sleeves and bottoms (leggings or similar) if you can manage it - the sun cream will wash off pretty quickly! Thanks again for a great trip.

My girlfriend and I did two days of tours with raft Amazonia. The first day was the jungle tour near misuailli with Jose, it was a great day and fantastic to hear the knowledge from a kichwa man who grew up learning of the uses of traditional plants and medicines from his community, we seem lots of wild birds and animals in the rainforest and later went to the kichwa village for a lovely local lunch followed by a demonstration of how chicha is traditionally made and then we joined in a traditional dance with the community, it was a great insight into their culture. The second day, we decided to try out the rafting along with seeing the pools and waterfalls, we were with Jose and Leonardo for this. The quick tour of the waterfalls was class, an incredibly beautiful area, and we were able to swim in pristine pools by ourselves, surrounded by colourful butterflies. The rafting was great fun and at a good level for us, it was challenging but felt very safe at all times with Leonardo in charge. It was our first time rafting and was a fantastic introduction, another great touch was the fact that we were accompanied by another young lad on a kayak from their community who took great photos of the rafting. The lads were all very friendly and went out of their way to make the experience as good as possible for us, from the food on the rafting trip, to teaching us phrases in their native kichwa to lifting us and dropping us off at our hotel each day.

My wife and I did a day kayaking in double kayak, we had Gregorio (Tootie) as our instructor/guide, with Leonandro (Fruitie) driver and 2 other experienced instructors alongside us in the river, as support. The safety briefing and instruction was 1st class. My wife was extremely nervous and not a strong swimmer. We had only kayaked on calm water prior to this. We could not have been in safer hands. Completely out of our comfort zones, it was one of the best experiences of our lives and a highlight of our time in Ecuador. This a Kichwa company. All the staff were thoroughly professional, with great senses of humour. Lunch was served by the lovely ladies, in the Kichwa Village, on the side of the river. It was delicious and consisted of fresh tilapia fish, cooked in a leaf and served with yucca, with it was delicious. An adrenaline packed, fun filled day that we will never forget. We were so impressed that we booked a tour of the Rainforest, for the following day, We were picked up at our hostel, again by Tootie and Fruitie, before spending the day, canoeing and walking in the rainforest. A really nice experience. Although this is not the deep, southern amazon, it did give us a good insight to the Amazon and was a good alternative, if like us you do not have time for a full Amazon trip. Both guides were informative and spotted creatures that we would never have seen on our own. Another delicious lunch, freshly prepared at the village of an Amazonian Tribe, in Misahualli, where we were entertained, this was an interesting and entertaining cultural visit, followed by a short water taxi ride to Monkey Island and time to stop to buy souvenirs. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.
