Fantastic trip! Daniel is exceptionally knowledgeable and very fun. The trip was very well organised and we went to an amazing local restaurant for ceviche and the market was really enjoyable. So much fun! Would recommend. If we had more time, we would definitely book more tours with Daniel - MuFi

Daniel clearly puts a lot of effort into his tours - from going to interesting places, to choosing the music to match the area to giving thorough explanations about the history of the region and its people. It was my mum's birthday and he went above and beyond to work with the restaurant to get a birthday display for her. It was perfect and made the day special. He was patient in answering all of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable. Recommended!!

This tour was amazing! At first, I thought it was only a non-stop tour to Otavalo, but no, it was much more! Daniel Murcarsel, the guide, was such a friendly guy, with him I learned a lot from Ecuatorian culture, traditions, life, from past to present! I loved the stop by the lake, having the opportunity to have a coffee with Bizcochos de Cayambe, seeing Imbabura Volcano and chatting with Daniel, was sure one of those moments that I will have in my mind forever! The visit to Cascada Peguche was also great, as the place is so wonderful and peaceful! And Otavalo Market, wow, how incredible is this place! Daniel explained me a lot about the place. Another highlight was the lunch, in which I was able to taste local Ecuatorian food, "fritada", which was delicious! I highly recommend this tour to whomever is travelling to Quito. It will sure be a whole day of adventure and learning! A great overview of La Paz with an outstanding tour guide: David! In the tour, we have the opportunity to visit the highlights of the city, such as "Valle de la Luna", "Telefericos", the city center, el famoso "Mercado de las Brujas" and some museums! David was a great guide, with him I could learn more about La Paz and Bolivia as well! I highly recommend this tour to everyone who is in La Paz. It is sure a a whole day of adventure and of learning about Bolivian Culture!

Otavalo Tour was not just a tour. It was a trip with a friend who let me dive into the history, beauty and culture of Ecuador, from past to present! I learned so much with Daniel! The sites visited were amazing, such as the lake with Imbabura volcano, the Peguche Waterfall and Otavalo Market. Tasting local ecuatorian food for lunch was also a highlight! The full day tour was so pleasant that I did not notice time pass by and did not feel tired at all. I highly recommend this tour and Daniel's tour guide services to whomever visits Ecuador and wants to know more about the country!

Daniel was our guide today! He was on time and very informative. I loved the waterfall and my mother and sister in law did a lot of shopping. lol. Thank you for everything, we enjoyed our first day.

Daniel was an amazing guide. This was my second tour with him, and he was always so personable. He made my experience personalized and it was un forgettable. The market was beautiful with all the beautiful people. The artisans are so amazing, creative, friendly and talented. I could've spent hours there. Daniel wasn't only a tour guide, he became a good friend. 100% recommended.

Daniel was great! He accommodated our weird schedule, arriving in Quito just from noon till midnight, picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. He took us to a few places and adapted based on our interests, energy level, and the weather. We learned a ton about Ecuador and the culture from Daniel while we were driving between sites. We had excellent food, tasted fruits we've never seen in the market, and finished off our souvenir/gifts list. He helped make our last day great! If I'm in Quito again I plan to reach out to Daniel again.

My husband and I had a wonderful day in Otavalo. Our tour guide Daniel did a great job with our visit by educating us on the indigenous people of the Otavalo area. The waterfall was a beautiful side trip which introduced us to the strong connection the community had to the land. Daniel helped us find products we were looking for because of his experience and relationships with many of the vendors. I highly recommend this tour. The whole trip was fun and educational.

Daniel was such an amazing guide. Our tour was deeply enriched by his passion and knowledge of Ecuador.

The tour was fine. My favorite parts were the swing on the lake (which had a pretty mountain in the background), and seeing the waterfall. Otavalo market was nice but nothing special; there’s a very similar market in Quito. I personally don’t think it’s worth driving 2 hours from Quito to see Otavalo, but your mileage may vary if you really love shopping. The guide was nice but very talkative, and it was a bit awkward when I asked him for some quiet time, although he did respect that when I asked. Also, you should have breakfast before you go on this tour, because I was hungry all morning. The guide offered some biscotti with cheese for brunch, but it was just a small snack and not a full breakfast. You should also note that the lunch is not included in the tour price, so you should expect to pay an extra $10-15 for lunch.

We had a fantastic day visiting Otavalo with Daniel. He is extremely knowledgeable about the people of Otavalo and their culture, as he has invested time forming genuine relationships with people from the community. He also told us a lot about the history of these areas prior to the Incas, which was fascinating. We had a lovely stop at a community-built area by the lake with coffee, hot bizcocho, and fresh cheese. We then went on to the Peguche Waterfall and walked amongst the eucalyptus trees. Finally, we visited the local craft market (BEST place for souvenir shopping) and had fritada which was sooo good. Daniel really does an excellent job of personalizing the tour to your needs and making it a genuine experience with the community. Thank you very much!

Daniel is unparalleled as a tour guide. He is organized, caring and most importantly, passionate about his people and educating others on Ecuador. We took a bit longer than expected but he never made us feel bad for a second, and even encouraged us to take all the time we needed. Later on, he was in touch with recommendations for the rest of our trip. I couldn’t say enough good things about Daniel and Mufi tours. I’d come back to Ecuador just to do another tour with Daniel (and it is likely I will!). Thank you Daniel for such an amazing day, and we are all wishing you the very best with everything!

I would highly recommend this tour!! It was fun, educational and well planned out. Daniel is extremely nice and was very helpful to me at the Otavalo Market. I learned so much about Ecuador from its history to everyday life. The Market was beautiful, the drive up was beautiful and it couldn’t have been a more fun day.

He picked some exceptional experiences, and was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind every step of the way. At Otavalo market he was patient, and helped negotiate reasonable prices. Daniel was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and we all thought this was a great day trip. In the market he helped us find items we were looking for and have us tips on how to interact with the sellers and negotiate a good price. The market was amazing with lots of selection at a low price; my 6'7" son was able to find a great alpaca sweater for $20! Besides the market we drove through beautiful countryside and learned a lot about Incan history and the legends that explain the geography. Good food, good company, good times - highly recommend!
