My wife and mine favorite excursion during our cruise, to the point it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Very beautiful, relaxing, and the kids enjoyed their selves as well. Great food was another bonus. I highly recommend this place.

This was our second time booking Hayhu, and it was just amazing this time as the time we went last year. Other than the long walk out of the port, it is seamless finding your taxi and driving less than 30 minutes to the resort. The resort is stunning and every measure is taken to make it enjoyable. We were given beach chairs and a table for dining (but bring your own towels). We went with our three kids (5, 3, and 1 year old). The water is gentle and shallow enough for them to play. The beach was great and they had hired someone to rake away the seaweed, and they also have beach toys for the kids. My kids also loved the hammocks, swings, and smoothies. The food is amazing, and Freddy and Carlos took amazing care of us the whole time and made sure transportation was there when we were ready to head back to the ship. You will not be disappointed if you choose Hayhu for your shore excursion!

Hayhu VIP beach experience was worth every penny. The only horrible parts were that we had to leave, And finding a way out of Costa Maya Port. My recommendation is to Look up a yt video of how to exit, so you don’t waste time. It was clean, the food was marvelous. We enjoyed lots of smoothies which were divine. The crew was attentive and personable. The beach was relaxing, and gorgeous. The kids used the kayaks and snorkel gear. We were so sad to leave!

Our family of 6 rented the VIP deck. The food was amazing. The staff was prompt and attentive. The facilities were clean and inviting. We didn't spend much more than our daily price since Hayhu generally includes a food and drink allowance. There was some seaweed, but it wasn't an issue and the staff were actively working to keep the beach clean though out our visit. The beach was wonderful and of course the water was inviting you to spend more time in the sun than your current sunburn allows you. The transfers were easy. Any fears were quickly diminished when we walked past the guard shack and immediately saw our name on a board. The staff was waiting to usher us into a taxi and on the way to our destination. Hayhu pays for the transfer, but we gave a small tip ($5 each way) as a tip to the driver. The drive from the port was about 20 minutes. We would not hesitate to book another day trip to Hayhu next time we are in Costa Maya! Thank you for the great day!

Had an amazing time being pampered by Carlos and Alfredo. Massages on the beach were professionally done, and exquisite. Drinks and food were both prepared with taste and presentation in mind. Best beach in Mexico by far!!

This was the best excursion that we took on our one week cruise. Everything went really smooth. Communication from Hayhu was exellent with good istructions. Our driver Diego was very nice and on time. Place itself was beautiful. Drinks and food was very good and service top notch! We highly recommend.

We planned this as an excursion from our cruise on Harmony of the Seas. Hayhu is about 40 minutes from the cruise port. They arranged transport to/from Hayhu. On arrival was pleased to see that it looks just like the photos! Rustic, but luxurious. Bring your own towel. It is in the middle of nowhere. Not much for kids to do except build sand castles. We got a massage on the beach. One hour was $60. They bring in contractors. Food and beverage prices are consistent with US casual dining prices. They do not have any American beers. Hayhu Beach is a delight. I would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

This was a truly amazing excursion. Definitely first class throughout. Starting with the friendly driver who was very communicative about how and were to meet. On to the really beautiful, truly private beach resort. The management could not have done more to make us feel welcome and special. The accommodations were first class - including a private bathroom and shower. They were very reasonable on charges for massages and extra food. Really great experience.

We had a great time at Hayhu Beach. Food was yummy and plentiful, our space was nice (there were 4 adults with plenty of room) top notch service- thanks Carlos! The water is clear, white sandy beach, definitely will do again.

We were restricted from debarkation due to weather. Asked tour operator as it happened what would happen. They confirmed via text we would get a FULL REFUND so we cancelled. After the trip, they only gave a 30% refund and VIATOR and the operator refused to honor their agreement to offer a full refund

Spent Christmas Eve with the team at Hayhu Beaxh Club and it was awesome!! Honestly, the ride there is a little sketchy - about 15-20 miles though the Mexican jungle but once you get there is it Paradise. Food and drinks were fantastic and the service provided by Freddy, Cruz and Carlos was top notch. Highly recommend the grilled lobster, sausage, shrimp, steak, etc. Platter - fantastic. Nice Sandy beach with wale boards, kayaks and snorkel gear. Don’t miss the massage on the beach - my wife, mother-in-law and daughter all got one and raves about it - and only $40/half hour. That’s a fraction of why you’d pay at the 4 seasons in Naples!! Highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway from the Cruise crowd - skip the ship scheduled excursions and go to Hayou for better value!

Very clean and tidy little place on the beach. Staff is very attentive. Drinks and food are first rate. It was horribly hot the day of our visit and the staff provided extra umbrellas and a fan. The beach is almost nonexistent and what was available was littered with trash and debris. It is not very suited for swimming or wading. If they had a pool or had at least cleaned up the beach area, i would have given 5 stars.

This was a lovely small beach club that felt private and relaxed. Direct transportation to and from the cruise port was included. The service and staff members were very nice and friendly, and there were no vendors hawking merchandise. The water was beautiful and any seaweed had been cleared away so that was not an issue. We had a private shaded pergola area with two lounge chairs, tables, and additional chairs. Food we ordered was good, and my daughter had a relaxing massage while there. They limit the number of guests each day (I believe it's 40) so it was quiet and great for just relaxing, swimming, resting, sunbathing.

We absolutely loved Hayhu Beach! We just got back from our cruise that stopped in Costa Maya and I have to share this review. I found Hayhu Beach Club on TripAdvisor and it is now one of our favorite stops ever. Everyone in my family agreed that this was our favorite part of our 5 night cruise. Hayhu Beach is located in Mahaual and takes a 30 minute taxi ride. By booking through TripAdvisor, the roundtrip taxi ride was included. It was $600 for a private area up to 6 people. If there are only 2 of you this isn't very cost effective, but for our party of 5 it was perfect. The cost includes a private cabana with your own bathroom and shower. We had a large dining table, hammock, tons of chairs. It also includes $300 worth of food and drinks. We ordered roughly 8-9 cocktails and all of the food pictured and our bill was $30 at the end of the day. This was everyone's favorite meal- even more than anything we had onboard. They offered massages for a fee. We were so busy enjoying the beach that we didn't even inquire on the cost. They also had kayaks available. Order your food early. It took some time as one of our waiters was also the cook. It was so worth the wait, but we decided next time we will just order food after we arrive so it's ready. There was a lot of seaweed along the beach, but we spend a lot of time in the Gulf and we are used to much worse. The water was a gorgeous emerald color, but was clear. It was easy to see our feet when standing shoulder deep. The owners are from Paraguay and will limit the number of guests per day to 40. This was wonderful because it was not crowded at all. Due to the limited availability I highly recommend booking early. Till next time Hayhu Beach! Can't wait to see you again.

We wanted something off the beaten path, and they delivered. Great spot with a wonderful staff. My husband and I had a relaxing massage. (It was awesome) The kids loved the snorkeling and had a wonderful time in the warm water. We also had a private bathroom with shower. We will definitely do this again.

The pros: The beach resort is beautiful, serene, private, quiet, and clean. The ocean water is crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The food was excellent. Service was good. Cons: Taxi service that’s included with this excursion if booked through Trip Advisor was NOT good. This is the reason for 3 stars. Our taxi driver, Gabriel, was 30 minutes late to pick us up in the morning which stunk bc our cruise stop in Costa Maya was shortened so we were wanting to take advantage of as much time as possible at this resort since we paid $640 for this excursion for six people and only ended up being at the resort for 2.5 hours total. The most concerning part of the taxi service was that Gabriel (our taxi driver) was 25 minutes late to pick us up from the resort, which made us late to our ship (Allure of the Seas). It was extremely stressful and maddening because we would have all been stranded in Costa Maya because we didn’t take our passports off the ship with us. We have zero options to get back to the ship as there were no other transportation options from the resort as it is extremely remote and the only person at the resort who had a car was the manager and he wasn’t willing to leave the resort to drive us 30 minutes back to the ship. Our taxi driver did not answer his phone nor did he respond to our messages. He finally arrived at the resort at 12:24PM and our ship was scheduled to leave Costa Maya at 12:30PM so we had six minutes to make it back for a cab ride that took 27 minutes from the terminal to the resort that morning upon our arrival. Gabriel promised us he would not be late to get us, but he was late and it was extremely stressful. Once Gabriel picked us up, he did call the cruise terminals to alert them that he as on his way with six passengers of Allure of the Seas. He drove 160km/hour (100mph) to get us back to port. That was an excursion in and of itself. In the end, we made it to the ship at 12:55PM and were greeted by a ship officer who was waiting for us so we made it on the ship, which we were extremely grateful for. Also, I highly recommend keeping an eye on your food and beverage tab at the resort. We exceeded our $300 limit and owed an additional $128 USD for our 2.5 hour time at the resort for six people (and two of those people were the only ones drinking alcohol!). The two mimosas we had were made with Tang and were nasty and undrinkable. We ordered the BBQ lunch with lots of meats and that was excellent, but took an hour to cook so make sure you allow time for it to be prepared if you choose to go! Lesson learned! We won’t book this excursion again simply because of not being able to control the transportation options to guarantee our arrival back to the ship on time. We will also always take our passports with us off the ship from now on because we would have been stuck in Costa Maya had we not made it back to the ship on time!

Hayhu beach club is amazing. This is our second visit to this beach club. The staff are amazing and the food is phenomenal. Directions this year were way more easier to understand and pictures provided by the company via the Whatsapp were amazing. We were provided transportation to and from the beach club. By far the best beach club we’ve ever been to. Go check it out!

3 families visited Hayhu for the day during a cruise stop. The location was remarkable. The staff were so accommodating and so nice that made the day a wonderful experience. The location feels like your own private beach - a place you’d never want to leave! Highly recommend to small and large groups looking for a more personalized experience and away from the tourist crowds!

I’ve been on 18 cruises including 8 times to costa maya This was by far the best place I’ve ever gone to on a cruise. Our driver was there on time and took us to the resort where we were greeted by friendly people who took us up on our deck where we had the most beautiful view you could ever ask for. On the deck was a bathroom with a shower. Service all day was great. The food was incredible. From 9am until we left in the afternoon they had a man cleaning the beach. I would recommend this place to everyone. Most of the time the place never looks as good as it does in the pictures when you book it but here this resort was more beautiful then the pictures you see. Their was six in our party and we all agreed that we would never go anywhere else when we come back to costa maya
