Rich was very knowledgeable and respectful. He could pick up the pace and cover more in less time . Overall however very worthwhile and educational

Our guide, Richard, was knowledgeable, informative, experienced and attentive throughout the experience and helped bring into focus so many important details we otherwise might have overlooked.

One of the best “tours” I’ve ever been on, and I’ve traveled and lived abroad for nearly 8 years. Radius was excellent (and casual) with their organization and efficiency, and made this trip very easy. Our tour guide Jake, a VERY gregarious and fun guide, shared his personal history about family and his grandparents who had survived the holocaust. THIS made this experience much more REAL. I highly recommend Radius (and Jake) if you want an intimate tour of what Dachau and this dark era of our human history was really about.

Just got back from this wonderful tour. We were very impressed with our guide’s knowledge of the subject and his ability to present it in an interesting way. However, anI have two issues your emails caused us. First, we did receive an email just after we booked that the time of the tour changed, but in subsequent emails from Tripadvisor, the tour was still listed at 10;25, so we thought the time had changed back to the original time. Fortunately, we always arrive early and made the start of the trip with 5 minutes to spare. We feel there should be some way for you to update the departure time changes, so more people don’t miss their tours. Secondly, the wording of your email led us to believe that the tour company, InMunich Tours had an office at Marienplatz 11 and spent an hour looking for it the day before the tour. It would have been nice to know that the tour meets in front of Becks Department Store which is at Marienplatz 11. Again, a great tour, just poor communictions from TripAdvisor.

Charlot with Radius Tours is a wonderful guide, who gives a good balance of interesting facts with some free time. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Keith, took us to Dachau this morning. He has to be the most educated tour guide I have ever had in my life!! The tour was so moving and so well done. There is so much to see and honestly you could probably spend more than 1 day there reading everything, but he brought everything to life for our group! I think it’s something everyone should see in their lifetime. Great communication with the tour company and Keith did an excellent job keeping our group together getting on the train and then rearranging a different bus for us to get to the camp due to an interruption in schedule. He was fantastic! Thanks Keith!

We wanted to do this visit during our visit to Munich to experience a bit of what the world war brought. But the experience was more than just a visit. The emotions it brought out was beyond what words can explain. To hear about the horrors of the war at the place where those atrocities took place was very hard hitting. Jake, our guide from Radius tours was extremely helpful and answered all our questions during the tour. Definitely, a 5-star experience!

Visiting Dachau was something I wanted to do just to reinforce my opinion that the world was a bad place in mid 1900’s. The site was well presented with just enough to show what happened during the WW2 era. Unfortunately the tour guide did not impress from the outset and apart from excellent dialogue failed to change my opinion during the tour and to the end.

I can't recommend this enough. In a group of around 15 people, tour included train and bus and the guide we had was just outstanding. Achim was knowledgeable and passionate and this was far better than wandering around listening to a headset. I don't think I would have learned as much without this tour guide

Jake got us stuck in the rain for an hour on the way home, Jake is awesome! PS. It wasn’t Jake’s fault, Jake said the German public transport isn’t the most reliable. Jake gave someone his jacket so they would stay warm. Jake also kept the mood up telling jokes, being funny and being Jake. The tour itself was awesome, thanks to Jake. Jake’s family connections to the camp made it even more special. All in all a great tour! Did I mention Jake is an absolute legend? Jake deserves a pay rise! Jake payed me to write this.. lol #fivestarjake

Jake was the perfect tour guide. He brought a personal history to the tour which made it all the more powerful. We were able to learn some of the history of the camp, not just facts but real storytelling. Most of us are not completely ignorant to what happened in the holocaust, that said…Jake was very passionate and really brought an emotion to the tour that we weren’t expecting. Truly exceptional tour that I highly recommend. Side note: Jake was funny before and after the tour so a few laughs were much appreciated.

First and foremost both my husband and I want to thank our guide Jake! He did an amazing job! He gave so much details and was so knowledgeable. Jake was very personable and funny at times. He did not hesitate to answer any questions we had. Tour was only 5 hours but you will walk away learning so much more. I highly recommend booking this tour. You will not regret it.

A very somber yet important tour. I had been many years ago but was glad I did it again. Mat, our Tour Guide, gave us so much history of what led to the creation of Dachau. He helped us to understand the roots of National Socialism in Germany and its results in the Camp System. Mat was very understandable and relatable.

We were extremely happy with our tour and guide (Sam). All of the website details/inclusions went exactly like Viator advertised (unlike our Florence tour). Sam was very knowledgeable and always made sure we were safe and accounted for. He answered questions for all. I was amazed at the size of the camp. You have to experience it live to realize what happened .... TV and pictures do not give you the full experience. I would highly recommend this tour and it should also be noted that Radius Tours is very credible!!

Jake was our tour guide, and he was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable of the history of WWII and the camp. We learned so much we did not know! Walking around the camp site and knowing what the prisoners experienced there was a very somber experience.

Wonderful sobering experience. Our guide, Carlotta, was very knowledge and interesting. Highly recommend this tour. We all owe it to ourselves to understand this very dark time period.
