A really enjoyable start to the day. Shirish is a very nice and informative guide who got us safely to the Wetlands. After a few days in the city it was nice to be able to have a relaxing cycle literally 5 minutes as from the city. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We were looking for something different on our last day in Kolkata after having had our senses assaulted by the busy and chaotic t Human and vehicle traffic that characterises Kolkata Shirish offered us just that chance for an escape into a serene world of lakes, tiny fishing communities right in the heart of Kolkata. All bikes, helmets and gear was provided along with a friendly and informative 3 hour mountain bike tour around a small fraction of the 90 odd Kms of trails thru the lakes that make up the wetlands. There is a bit of street traffic to negotiate before entering the wetlands but a combination of early 6am start and Shirish expertly guiding us made that part entirely comfortable Highly recommend this tour as it’s worth every cent

An amazing experience, set off time is early so you miss the extreme heat of the afternoon. If you are interested in getting a feel for the true Kolkata I would recommend this tour. Shirish was an excellent guide, providing opportunities to fully appreciate the surroundings and detailed knowledge of the wet lands. I would definitely do this again. Thanks Shirish. 🙏

Amazing tour. One of my top experiences in India. You do need to be comfortable cycling but the effort is worth the chance to be close to the wonderful wetlands and the people who live there.

This was a fantastic tour of the wetlands. An unbelievable area of calm, peace and beautiful scenery just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle usually associated with Kolkata. Shirish is a great guide, and was there ready and waiting for me early in the morning. The bikes and equipment were all ready to go and I felt extremely safe in the capable hands of Shirish. He is obviously very passionate about his city and in particular this hidden gem. It was lovely to see up close the fishermen returning with their catch, and to take a break with some local chai. I would say, if you have padded shorts, you may be thankful for them after a couple of hours bouncing along the trails and tracks here. I have some wonderful photos from this trip and am so glad I was able to include this in my trip to Kolkata. Thank you so much Shirish for this experience.

What a lovely way to start my day in Kolkata! The wetlands are incredibly beautiful and scenic. The bike ride was a great break from the busy city and gave me the nature kick I was craving. Shirish is very friendly and knowledgable on the ecosystem of the area. He also went out of his way to give me recommendations for the rest of my stay. As a lone female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable throughout the tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a few days in this beautiful city!

A tour well worth every penny. Going to the wetlands on bicykle ride was one of the best decisions I made during my trip here in Kolkata. Seeing the natural wonder in middle of city was amazing. Breath of fresh air and very scenic to go in the morning. Amazing tour all in all. WIth a great tourguide who is informed with the surrounding area and has great insight on any questions that might come up about the Wetlands. 100% go again next time, I come to this city.

An eye opener even for someone who spent most of his life in kolkata . These wetlands are the lungs of kolkata , away from the crowds and a must do for all visitors and locals . Shirish is an excellent guide who knows every inch of The land and it’s a trip one will always remember . 5 stars
