We had a fantastic day with Josefina. We explored several parts of Palermo, stopping for amazing food - including black sausage, steak, empanadas and gelato. Josephine was very knowledgeable, providing just the right amount of information and history about the area, making it personable and accessible. We learned a lot from her! I’d highly recommend this company, the communication was great and it was absolutely good value.

A great tour of Palermo and vicinity with Frank who gave us great insights to both the rich local history as well as a wonderful food adventure. The combination of both were just perfect. Made it fun, got in some needed walking and the conversation was wonderful. His ability to customize to what we wanted was the best and we will be returning for much more! P.S. the wine tasting was amazing.

We’re just back from an amazing walking/food tour of Palermo with Frank . It was a wonderful excursion , Frank is extremely knowledgeable of the history of the neighborhoods we browsed through and the food stops were great ! We started with croissants and coffee , had a special juice break in the park, went to a fabulous wine tasting , special sausage lunch, more coffee, and ended our day with gelato ! Frank will plan your tour to fit your agenda . I highly recommend!!

We started our visit to Buenos Aires with this tour and it was so much better than we anticipated it would be! We are so glad we discovered it. Our guide, Josefina, was absolutely wonderful. We started at a small restaurant where we had typical medialunas and my husband had a typical drink, a submarine, which was new to us. While we ate, Josefina learned about us andmour interests and explained the tour to us. Josefina’s English is perfect and she is very knowledgeable about Buenos Aires history, culture, and food. We visited many sites that we would have never seen if it had not been for this tour. Josefina explained to us all about General Garibaldi in Plaza Italia and after giving us some of his history, she pulled out a thermos of Garibaldi drinks! Our tour included a wine tasting which was in a beautiful boutique hotel. We had a delicious steak at a little local place that we would never have chosen on our own. Throughout the tour, Josefina related history in a meaningful way and she was also able to tell us about current events in Argentina. She has a nice sense of humor. The day flew by! After the tour, Frank sent us a beautiful photo album along with more information about monuments and murals we saw. And, Josefina helped me findna store that sells those little white penguin pitchers . This tour is well worth the price. One of the best ever. Go!

Great tour of the Palermo Barreiro. Fernando was an amazing guide for us. He has on one of the best backgrounds I've ever encountered on a tour and a true lover of Buenos Aires. The food was fantastic and we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting the city.

We do food tours everywhere we travel. It is a unique way to learn about the local culture through food. I reached out to Frank many months ago and he provided me with recommendations and sound advice for enjoying Buenos Aires. This tour was exactly what we hoped based on how well Frank treated us. Fernando was our guide. He was very informative with both the food and the culture. Thank you to the team for welcoming us and showing us the local cuisine. The memories will be discussed for a lifetime. Muchas gracias!

My wife and I booked the Palermo Food and Wine Tour with Asado Adventure Foods. We like the experience of guided food tours, especially when we have never been to that city before. It gives us insight into the history and culture of a place and its people. We booked the tour a year in advance with the owner Frank who was also very helpful providing information on local hotels, sights and restaurants. On the morning of the tour, we were reminded by text where to meet our guide and advised to be sure to dress comfortably and wear a hat as the weather was going to be sunny and very hot. We met our vibrant and engaging guide Natalia at a local restaurant where we enjoyed coffee and pastries while she discussed the days offering. Our day took us to the botanical gardens, where Natalia came prepared with bug spray, just in case, then past local historical sites where she took pictures of us and the sites and told us about the history of what we were seeing. We then moved on to food tastings at several local eateries, places that you would never know to stop at on your own, but at which we enjoyed delicious examples of the local food and Natalia told us about the customs surrounding food and family in Chile. Finally, we stopped for wine tasting at the Miravida Hotel and Wine Bar where Sandra, the most knowledgeable Hotel sommelier shared some delicious wines. Between the food and wine stops, Natalia took us on a tour of local wall art in the Palermo area providing us with information on the history of the area, the artists and Chile. Throughout the tour Natalia made sure to check on our comfort (it was a very hot day) and made sure we had plenty of water and shade. This was an exceptional tour and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was worth every peso.

Overall the tour was so much more than we expected. The food was great, the wine tasting that we added on was wonderful, and Frank was a great tour guide. The pictures he took throughout the day, and sent to us at the end of the day was a perfect little extra! Would definitely recommend the tour, and would try any others he has to offer.

Our walking and eating tour of the Palermo Viejo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires with Agustin was fantastic. We started with excellent coffee and medialunas and went on to see many beautiful and interesting things, including the botanic gardens and great street art. Lunch at a local parilla was delicious, and the empanadas we had for afternoon tea at Santa Evita (where we met the chef and heard about his approach to empanada making and regional variations in empanadas) were so good we ended up going back there for dinner on our return to Buenos Aires after a trip elsewhere. We finished with amazing ice cream at Antiche Tentazioni. Don't eat breakfast and don't make a dinner reservation on the day you do this tour! There is a fair amount of walking on this tour but it is a gentle pace and there are no hills. Agustin was a terrific tour guide, with great local knowledge and interesting conversation on all other topics.

We absolutely LOVED our food and street art tour with Natalia!!!! She did an incredible job prepping us for the day, briefing us about each of the spots we'd be visiting, and letting us know how to pace ourselves properly for all of the tasty foods we'd be trying. Natalia ordered for us and explained the background and meaning behind each food/meal so that we could "do as the locals do" and embrace the culture, which was fantastic! She was so flexible and accommodating. If we wanted to spend more or less time at one of the destinations, or stop by a store to get some yerba mate to bring home, she was a huge help and amazing guide. We could have spent all week walking around the city and eating together! The botanical gardens were beautiful, and we loved learning about the each artist of the many street art paintings. The link to all the photos from the tour was an amazing bonus. A major highlight for us was sitting at the lunch table with the owner/chef of El Santa Evita as if we were old friends, and his empanadas were DELICIOUS! THANK YOU SO MUCH NATALIA (and Asado Adventure!)!!!! We hope we get the chance to come back and try more delicious foods!

Matalia was very personable and fun to spend a day with as she showed us her city. The visit to Santa Evita was the highlight as the owner talks to you while you try his empanadas (delish)! He gave us two excellent restaurant recommendations too.

The tour was the highlight of our stay in Palermo, Buenos Aires. The experience was exactly as described and more. We went to tiny local restaurants that otherwise would not have attracted a second glance but served amazing food. Frank certainly knew his stuff and by the end of the tour we had a good understanding of BA history and culture. We especially enjoyed learning about the street art. The photo file that Frank shared was an added bonus. Highly recommend to anybody going to BA.

Cristina was incredible. We had an amazing time and tried wonderful foods. We particularly loved the making and enjoying of maté while relaxing in the botanical garden. We loved learning more about the history and social experiences through street art. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough and hope to take friends and family the next time we visit Buenos Aires!

Frank did a GREAT tour of Palermo with us! Not only was this an excellent food tour, with stops for medialunas and coffee for breakfast, steak for lunch, empanadas and gelato, but we also very much enjoyed the history and cultural information about Buenos Aires and Argentina. The Palermo neighborhood is charming and vibrant, and Frank did a great job of showing us the amazing street art and how it ties into the community. We would definitely wish to return to BA and stay in this neighborhood. All the food was delicious and we did not need dinner that evening. The restaurants he took us to were small, family run businesses that were so charming. We also really enjoyed the tour through the Botanical Garden and the Plaza de Italia. I give this tour my highest recommendation and Frank is a very warm and friendly person. Thank you for a very memorable experience!

Frank guided us through Palermo, showing us street art while explaining the history of the neighborhood. He knew the best places to sample what the locals eat, with walks in between so you didn’t feel too full. Frank was knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. Communication with him scheduling our tour and a gaucho tour was prompt. He also informed us of the best places to buy leather and what Tango shows were worth seeing. I highly recommend his company, he made our stay in Palermo memorable.
