Bill Bell did a great job sharing his knowledge of Charleston and the history of the area. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with him. Great guy! !

My husband and I spent an enjoyable 7-hour tour of historical Savannah, Fort Pulaski National Monument, Tybee Island, Isles of Hope, Wormsloe State Historic Park, and other interesting surrounding areas with our amazing DTour guide, Bill Bell. Bill was very pleasant and easy to spend the day with. He was considerate, caring and very knowledgable on the areas and the history. Bill suggested a fun and delicious southern home cooking dining experience at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. We highly recommend DTours and Bill Bell.

We had an outstanding 3 hour private tour with our guide, Bill. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a wonderfully personalized overview of historic Savannah. He was so accommodating and the whole experience was relaxing yet loaded with plenty of detail. After the tour, he even texted me links to restaurants, shopping, and additional tours in the area. We really enjoyed our custom private tour with Bill. He was very knowledgeable about Savannah history and had the perfect temperament for the tour. Bill was an excellent driver. We explored and learned about Wormsloe Historic Site, Bonaventure Cemetery, Isle of Hope (which had lovely historic homes), and the Savannah Historic District. We were hoping to learn and see the sights without too much walking, which worked out perfectly. It was exactly what we were looking for -- highly recommend the tour and Bill in particular.

I read the reviews before I booked this tour and I have to agree, Danette was absolutely great as a guide. She knows her history and all the little interesting stories behind Savannah's history and buildings. We had a beautiful day to tour the city and walk the parks. We were never in a rush and she had all the scoop on the hidden gems of restaurants as well. The price was very well worth it and do it early in your visit so you can take advantage of the recommendations and go back an explore points of interest.

Janie was a fantastic Guide! We did this the day after we arrived in Savannah and it was tailored to our interests! She shared the history of Savannah while showing us around, she would drop us off and give us as much time as we wanted to go inside things like St. Mark’s Basilica. Her knowledge of Bonaventure Cemetery was impressive and that was our favorite part! She followed up our tour with recommendations of local restaurants and pedicab companies. Would highly recommend!

This is an exceptional tour that exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, Danette was friendly and hospitable. She was able to easily modify her “routine” itinerary to accommodate and complement our experience based on the other tours we experienced this weekend. She captured photographs for our group and picked the entire 3 hours with meaningful and memorable stops. She easily weaved in personal requests. Highlights - downtown squares with the history of each, the art district, Chatham crescent, majestic oaks, bluff lane, Victory drive, Wormsloe, and Bonaventure Cemetery. Danette packed our time with information the time flew by!! Whether this is your first trip to Savannah or not this is an absolute must!
